Previously: Her eyes widen as she recognized the gold bangle Kidd had previously tried to place on her.
Lily shot up from where she was laying on the bed eyes hardening at the gold resting on the skin.
"That fucking bastard!" The flamed haired girl hissed. She started to tug at the bracelets but they were too small to just slip off again. Growling, she got off the bed. Grabbing a sharp tool laying on the wooden floor, the girl slipped it under the left bangle. Lily didn't pay attention to the blood streaming down her arm and dripping on the floor. In fact she made it worse by lifting the tool trying to pry the gold off her wrist. After three minutes of fighting with the utensil, she pulled it out from the mangled flesh. A puddle of crimson life lay on the floorboards, however the pain in her wrist was gone. She looked at the slim appendage, the wound she was sure she just inflicted upon herself was nowhere to be found. Looking between the blood soaked tool and her forearm, the girl dug into her skin once more. As Lily sliced against the flesh like butter, the warm liquid dripped out but the fresh cut started healing almost immediately. Amazed at the new discovery, she grabbed a knife from the nearby table and cut through her arm. Hissing a little at the first entry, the pain she felt dissipated along with the injury. As awesome as it was, Lily was extremely confused at how something like this could happen. 'How is this possible? Wounds that deep don't heal so fast like that.'
Giving up on getting the fucking golden handcuffs off her, Lily focused her attention on vacating the stuffy room. 'They didn't lock the door when they left.' She suddenly remembered as she placed the used knife back down on the table next to the bed. Walking over to the metal door, she gripped the handle and turned the knob. Lily groaned at having to use all of her body weight to push open the heavy object keeping her from freedom. The girl smirked 'dumbas...' her thought stopped short as she stared at the masked man before her. His stare was blank but she couldn't tell how she knew this, only that she was sure of it. Lily could sense the he was bored 'If he's bored might as well change that huh?' Keeping a straight face, the fiery haired girl acted as if she was going to walk back into the room. As she started to turn and bracing her feet against the cold wooden floor, Lily took off down the hall to her right. She didn't hear footsteps right away, he was most likely surprised by her running away and didn't think she'd ever try to in the first place. Soft but noticeable footsteps soon sounded in the hall way affirming her earlier thought. 'I fought the whole time I have been here, why would I stop now.' Lily scuffed after making sharp right down another hallway. The girl kept turning left and right, mentally mapping out this part of the ship while trying to get some distance from her pursuer. Sure enough his footsteps started sound father from hers, so instead of passing by the staircase for the sixth time Lily bolted up the steps, taking two at a time. The runaway shoved this door open easier than the first as she reached the top. With the sun barely hiding behind the horizon, she glanced around before turning her head to see the blond nearly pass the stairs only to skid to a stop at the bottom panting. Killer looked up with a glare and started up them. Not wanting to get caught and sent back to the 'prison', Lily took off once more onto what she assumed was the deck. The girl was now jumping and ducking under the many men in her way, as she continued to the front of the ship. The vessel seemed to be hidden under some of the giant roots of the trees that littered the strange place. The angry mans steps came closer, Lily spun around to see the long haired blond closing in. When Killer was about two feet away and started to grab for her, Lily ducked under his extended arm and around his jean clad legs, still close to the ground she sprinted away once again straight for the main mast. Jumping seven feet up the ladder that was there to get up to the crow's nest and climbed with practiced ease, as if she had been doing it all her life. As they arrived to the top the girl went over the edge of the bucket looking area and onto the wood that held up the sail. Sitting down she stared at the men below and smiled.
"You know you masked freak if you don't want to get in trouble you're going to have to come and get me." Lily yelled at her jailer with a smug look on her face. Killer growled 'I'm going to slice her up.' The images of what he would do to her ran through his mind as he began to climb the ladder. 'At least the bitch doesn't have anywhere to go.' With the relief that the whole ordeal would soon be over the masked man ascend faster, arriving at the top Killer stood in the crow's nest
"Get over here so we can get down and take you back." The girl still sat there looking at him.
"I told you if you want me then get me." Lily looked to the ground and back to the man only fifteen feet away with a sly grin on her lips. The girl started laughing as the now panicking man took a step closer to her on the wood pole.
"Don't you. . ." Killer didn't get to finish his sentence as the girl jumped.
_Scene change_
As Kidd walked on the deck to see what the commotion was about, when he heard a beautiful sound 'It's coming from above?' He looked up to see the flamed haired girl, who was supposed to be in his room sitting on one of the highest points on his ship, with the first mate stepping out from the crow's nest. As sudden as the laughter came it stopped and Kidd could only watch as the girl started to plummet to the hard deck. The crew scattered to get out of the way of the soon to be dead female.
_Scene change_
Lily stopped laughing and focused on the landing. She knew that pursuer had almost slipped trying to get a hold of her but it was still too late. The girl grabs on the bottom pole that you tie the sails to. Grabbing the wood she swings herself around in once before she used the momentum to fling herself quite a distance. After landing on the ground and somersaulting she runs jumping up over a wall, opposite from the front of the ship. She lands gracefully and proceeds to sit in a giant throne like seat. Making herself comfortable she watches the first mate getting off the ladder and staring at her, in what she could only describe as awe. 'God do I love parkour.' Lily laughed out loud at all the faces of the man before her. That snapped Killer out of his awed state and pisses him off. 'I'm definitely going to have her killed and if I can do it that would be the best.'
He sprints up the stairs and she goes over the place she had earlier. This leads to a giant game of cat and mouse. Lily made Killer look like a complete fool by doing front flips and back flips. She jumped over some of the men in the crew and climbing onto the railings of the ship and flipping off of them. Her gaze goes to the man chasing her, his clothes begun to stick to his body from sweat. She smirked knowing that she wasn't in the least bit tired but her playmate was. 'Venus is so much better at catching me and not to mention a complete showoff.' she thinks with a pout. Kidd finds it entertaining but soon grows angry that she's making the second strongest crew member seem so weak in front of the rest of his men. As she runs towards where he is leaning against the wall, he throws out his arm at the right moment catching her around the middle and picking her up, tossing the flame haired girl over his shoulder. Lily started pounding on his back and cursing 'Again with the picking me up deal!? What am I a sack of potatoes?'. He glares at his first mate before turning to go back down stairs and to his room. Once they get there Kidd throws her onto his bed, when he noticed the blood on his weapon, tool and floor. He is soon looming over her grabbing her roughly and checking for wounds.
"Wire!" the redhead yells for doctor, a tall man comes rushing in the room with a bag in hand, but before he has a chance to ask what's wrong his captains continues.
"The girls hurt, find out where and fix her." the man ordered. Wire nods as Kidd leaves the room. After the door is shut, the doctor walks over to the girl that is sitting up on the bed. As he looks over her visible skin he doesn't see any marks or sign of injury.
"Good evening, I know this might be uncomfortable but I have to ask you strip so I can check of any wounds." Wire says in a professional tone while putting down his medical bag.
"Not happening." the man turns to the girl with a lifted brow.
"And why would to be?" he asked curiously.
"Cause I'm not hurt and I don't trust you." she meet his gaze with a bored expression, He could tell that she would not follow his orders willingly. The doctor pulled out a clipboard and a piece of paper.
"Ok. Will you answer some general question?"
"Depends."
"What's your name, age, height, natural hair color and weight?
"Lily Carter, 22, 5'5", black and 130 pounds"
"Do you have any alleges?"
"Strawberries, and most pain killer." he scrunched his brow at the medical allergy.
"Past injuries?"
"Broken ankles, fractured and broken right arm, fractured left arm, six broken fingers, two on the left four on the right, broken jaw and cracked head. I have also broken quite of few ribs but don't remember how many." she replied nonchalantly.
"Where did you come from?" Wire asked curiously.
"My mom's vigina." Lily said with a straight face staring the other in the eyes causing him to snicker.
"Ok, I have what I need. Are you sure you're fine? Because if you're not then the captain will kill me." He asked putting his clipboard and paper with her information on it back into his bag.
"I'm perfectly fine." She said while lying back down on the comfortable red sheets. Nodding his head the doctor exited the room, leaving the door open behind him.
"Sir, not to seem rude but she's perfectly fine." Wire said, looking to his captain with a raised brow. Kidd pointed to the puddle of blood on his floor with a scowl.
"Then what the fuck is that? And how did it get there? That blood wasn't there when I left this afternoon." Kidd pointed at the blood on the floor. He turned noticing that Wire had continued to walk away from the room.
"Oi! Don't ignore me!" Kidd followed after the doctor, slamming the door shut. Lily tilted her head and raised a brow, watching them leave. She could hear the screaming start to fade 'Damn, he's a loud fucker ain't he?'
After she's alone, she looks around the room for something to distract her. Going over to the clown face's book shelf, which held a very little amount of books. A thick old looking book, this one was battered and had no titled on spine. The book didn't fit with the rest of the volumes, they well taken care of and mainly about mechanics. She takes it out of its spot on the shelf, upon opening the heavy bounded pages to see a bunch of fruits. They has similar characteristic to the nasty one she ate earlier that day. The book about 'Devil Fruits' ,as it put it, and how they give you powers but lose the ability to swim. There are the three different types of fruits, Paramecia, Zoan and Logia. She seemed to be a Logia based off what the other fruits say about the given powers but she couldn't find hers within the yellowed damaged pages. With a sigh Lily looked to the still closed door as a smirk slowly appeared on her face. 'I'm gonna try using this power I have. I really hope this works.' She thought, closing her eyes and focusing her mind on what powers lie dormant inside of her. Her body started to feel as if she were flying through the sky. Lily opened her eyes to see herself floating a couple inches above the floor. She gasped losing her train of thought and crashed to the floor, landing on her butt.
"Well that didn't really work out the way I wanted, but cool I can fly!" She chirped happily. The girl closed her eyes again but instead she focused her energy into her hands. A little ball begun to form within her palms. Once she had the concept down, she dispersed the ball, making a gust of wind blow around the room. Her hair begun to fly around as papers were tossed through the room. Lily opens her eyes and looks around at the mess she made.
"Damn, I'm really gonna have to work on this." She muttered with a frown. "Oh, light bulb!" She hummed, pointing her finger to the ceiling. Smirking, she headed into the bathroom creating another ball of air within her hands as she walked.
"Down the drain you go!" she shot the ball into the sink. A loud rumble echoed through the ship's walls and she froze.
"Oops, that was a bit too much." She stuck her tongue out and smiled, shrugging her shoulders.
" Oh well!" She smiled, going to open the door. Her eyes widened as she looked into the empty hall. 'Huh, he's not out here.' Smirking she walked down the hall and towards the upper deck. The sky was dark with the stars glittering against the dark navy blue color. She slowly crept out into the cold night air and made her way over to the side of the ship. Swinging her right leg over, Lily begun to lift herself onto the railing.
"What do you think you're doing?" Kidd's voice spoke up from her left making her jump in surprise. She turned to him not moving off the rail.
"I was thinking of going for a swim." She smiled at him. 'Shit, I can't swim anymore cause of the damn fruit I ate.' Kidd looked at her weird.
"No you're not." He stated firmly. 'Phew, that was close.'
"Oh, umm ok." she stated to get off the railing and back onto deck. 'Strike two. Well they say the third time the charm.' mentally she pouted at the second failed attempt to get away. Kidd only raised a empty brow and started heading down stairs
"The pipes have somehow all blown out so you can't take a shower till I fix them." He stated not even looking back to see if Lily was following him. She snickered at the thought of him having to fix what she broke in the first place. 'Such a shame I can't break anything else right now.'
The two continued to walk in silence until they were inside his room. Kidd shoved her into the room and closed the door. He looked around the destroyed room and sighed, shaking his head. 'I'll fix it in the morning.' He thought as he stripped out of his jacket and laying it on the arm of his couch. Lily gasped and covered her eyes with her hands as he unbuckled his pants.
"Really dude? I'm standing right in front of you." She said causing Kidd to smirk and look at her.
"What you don't like what you see? You've probably seen all this before only mine's better." He stated smugly.
"Excuse me! I've only ever slept with two guys thank very much." She shrieked going to hide in his bed. Kidd frowned, his eye twitching in annoyance.
"Tch, fuckin dumasses." he scoffs, getting a pair of boxers and slipping them on while thinking of the two guys touching what is his. 'What the fuck? Why do I care who she fucks or toys with?' he shook his head, ridding himself of the thoughts of her.
"I'm wearing boxers you can come out from under the blanket now."
"Ew, you weren't wearing boxers before." She pulled the covers from over her head and looks at him thoroughly disgusted. Kidd rolls his eyes as she begins to climb out of his bed.
"You can just sleep there." He says as he plops down on his couch beside his jacket.
"It doesn't make me happy that you're giving me your bed." She mumbled under her breath, unknowing that Kidd had heard her. Lily crawled back under the covers and fell fast asleep, tired from the rough day she had.
_ Early the next day_
Lily woke up just before dawn and rubbed her tired eyes to rid them of sleep. With a yawn she gazes around the semi dark room, taking in the now clean space. 'Wow didn't expect Mr. High and mighty to be a neat freak.' She looked to the couch and noticed he wasn't there. Quietly, she sneaks out of the room a new found hope of escaping while everyone was asleep giving her the courage to leave the ship while Kidd was nowhere to be seen. She snuck into the kitchen, grabbing some fruit to take with her. As she bit into an apple, moaning at the sweet taste, she tiptoed onto the deck looking around to make sure no one was out where she could be spotted. Smiling at not having found anyone outside, she walked to the railing that looked over the ground of the island. Lily climbed up, swinging both her legs over and jumping down. She grunted at the impact but stood and begun to walk off away from the ship.
_POV Change (Kidd)_
Kidd walked out onto the deck wiping his hands on a red rag muttering to himself. 'How the fuck did all the pipes bust?' He thought growling lowly as the sun begun to peek up over the horizon. His amber eyes caught sight of flame colored hair off in the distance and he rushed to the railing. With a scowl he lifted his right arm.
"Attract." He spoke as purple sparks flew from his fingers. He watched with satisfaction as Lily was lifted off the ground and flying towards him. The girl screamed at the top of her lungs and Kidd was sure she woke the crew. He let out a grunt when she crashed into his chest, wrapping an arm around her middle to keep her in place as she struggled to escape.
"Where the fuck were you going?" He snarled, turning her to face him, her feet still not touching the ground.
"Damn it let me go you giant red assed baboon! Can't you see I was trying to get away from you!?" She roared throwing a punch to his face. He caught her hand and looked at her questioningly.
"Why would you want to leave? You are part of my crew."
"No I'm not. You never asked if I'd join therefore I have no reason to be here." She glared at him, reaching for the dagger strapped to his chest. Quickly grabbing a hold of the blade's hilt, freeing her arm and digs the blade right above the metal on her wrist. Kidd's eyes widened at the sight of her blood as she cut all the way to the bone.
"What the fuck are you doing you stupid bitch?!" He yells taking the blade from her hand and throwing it across the deck. The crew began pouring through the door to see what was going on.
"Now that I know you can keep me prisoner here because of these stupid metal bangles I have to remove them somehow." She hissed, concentrating on the wound so that it won't heal. Kidd grabbed her wrist with the rag to try to stop the bleeding. Locking his amber gaze with hers he lifted her head by her chin and scowled.
"Then will you join my crew?" He asked with a straight face. Lily watch as a flicker of worry passed through his eyes. Slowly, she let her concentration to slip and the wound begun to heal. She blinked refocusing on the wound and met his gaze with a determined one.
"I'll join on one condition." She spoke hoping he'd go for the bait. "I get to see my sister whenever I want and you'll give me money to go shopping at each island we stop at."
"Fine, but I have a condition for you. You have to wear the bangles at all times and never, NEVER do that again." Lily pouted but thought about it for a second before giving him her answer. Mentally she smirked, knowing she had won. 'Hook, line, and sinker.' She thought.
"Deal." Killer groaned at her response. "Where will I be sleeping, Captain?"
"With the crew." He bluntly stated. Lily's jaw dropped and she shook her head at him.
"Oh, fuck no! I'm the only girl on this whatever you wanna call it! I should get my own fucking room instead of sharing it with some fucked up in the head men!" She ranted poking his chest as she spoke. Kidd raised a brow at her before looking to his crew.
"Alec, Dace go prepare the room next to mine for our new crewmate!" He ordered and the two ran back inside to do as they were told. 'What a demanding bitch.' Killer thought watching the girl suspiciously.
"Make sure there's a window!" Lily yelled after the two. Killer rolled his eyes 'This is going to be a very long trip.' "Great now that that is settled I'm gonna go find my sister." She turns to walk away only for Kidd tug on the wrist he still had a hold of.
"You're going to have to wait, I have to fix the pipes first and you need your wrist stitched up." She groaned, letting him lead her to Wire who was standing by the door.
"Fix her." Kidd ordered, shoving the girl to Wire who nodded at his captain and lead her away to the infirmary.
_Later that afternoon_
Lily was sitting on the bench just behind the huge skull at the front of the ship. The flame haired girl sat with her left leg crossed over her right, left elbow propped on her top knee supporting her face. She had been like this for hours now. Waiting for Kidd to fix the pipes she broke, the girl didn't even move when they informed her that room was done. The captain came walking out, coat in hand with Killer, Heat and Wire following close behind.
"Come on Shorty, let's go find your sister." Kidd called out to the female.
"Finally!" Lily said under her breath as she got up from her perch. She was soon getting off the ship for the second time that day but she knew she would be coming back willingly. As they went their way through the groves Lily wondered where her sister would go. 'A club. She would go to the most raunchy and hippest place anyone could go to.' stepping away from the rest of her new crew, Lily walked up to a couple of girls. Kidd and the others stopped and just watched not knowing what she was up to.
"OMG I just love your heels." The flamed haired girl said in a fake excitement.
"Thanks!" the unknown blond bimbo said happily.
"So I'm new here and wanted to hit up a club to meet people. Where would the most popular club be here?"
"That would be Sky Era, it's in grove 7."
"Really! Thank you so very much, have a great day." Lily said as she started to turn away, making a gagging motion as she walked towards the men. "To grove 7." the female told the four others.
"Is that where your sister's gonna be?" Heat asked quietly.
"If I know her as well as I think I do then, yes." she responded.
_ In Grove 7 in front of Sky Era_
The Kidd pirates and their newest crew member stare at the really long line. Kidd sent the bouncers a sharp glare, trying to intimidate them into allowing them in. Lily laughed as one of the two shook their head at Kidd. She walked up pushing past her captain with a smile on her face.
"Here let me." She whispered to him turning to the bouncers standing in front of her. "Sorry he doesn't really get out much. Although two strong men like you guys wouldn't have a problem with a guy like him right?" she winked as her hand touched the one to her left's upper arm. The two men gulped nodding their heads. "I'm trying to get him use to people and you boys would be a great help if you'd let us in so I can help them get use to life." She added sweetly looking at the man to her right.
"Of, of course." One stuttered his cheek turning red.
"Anything for you." The two moved to the side letting the pirates through. As they stepped into the club the loud bass pounded into their ears, but it didn't bother Lily as she made eye contact with Venus.
