And I'm back…well, I never left… (Crickets chirps…) Anyway! Here's the next chapter. Also…I do hope this give you feels. When I wrote it-I cried…honest truth!

Notice: The two songs are not owned by me and neither is Pokémon…

-Two Months Later-

After the events from Exploud's Boom club, it seemed that the quad of friends were closer than ever. Zero and Mira were now boyfriend and girlfriend, to which Lea smiled and threw up a 'thumbs-up' to him when Zero told him. Chelsea decided to stay with Lea at the house, even though she tried to persuade him to stay at her condo. Everything was going great…but something was still there to cause Lea strife…

-At the condo-

Chelsea invited the group over to her condo for a home-cooked dinner.

"Why again are we eating at the condo?" Lea asked.

Chelsea looked at Lea and smiled.

"Because I want to cook a five-star meal at my house," Chelsea said.

Zero looked at Lea and laughed a little.

"C'mon, Lea. Let your girl cook for you," Zero said.

Lea smiled and sat at the table with Zero while Mira and Chelsea went into the kitchen. When they were out of the boys' earshot, Chelsea turned to Mira and smiled.

"Hey Mira!" Chelsea smiled.

"What is it, Chelsea?" Mira asked.

Chelsea's eyes gleamed as she looked at Mira.

"I want help to plan Lea's birthday party!" Chelsea cheered.

Mira's eyes widen as she heard what Chelsea said.

"Wait…what?" Mira asked.

"I want to plan a birthday party for Lea!" Chelsea smiled, "His birthday is tomorrow and I want to plan a party for him!"

Mira was speechless at Chelsea's idea and continued the wide-eyed treatment. Chelsea was a little dumbfounded at Mira's expression that she pinched Mira's shoulder, kicking Mira out of her trance.

"Wait…how did you figure out about his birthday?" Mira asked.

"Well, I found a photo album with a picture with all of you and it was dated 'September 9 —'," Chelsea said, "However, the year seemed to be whited out."

Mira was in turmoil within. On one hand, she wanted to tell Chelsea that Lucinda died on his birthday (to which was the reason of the year whited out). However, a nice birthday party would help even the mood and may keep Lea in high spirits. After stewing it over, Mira decided on the latter.

"Sure…it shouldn't be a problem," Mira smiled.

Chelsea was joyful at this as she hugged Mira tightly, surprising Mira. After her joy spell settled, Chelsea and Mira began to cook up a storm. After an hour, the girls were finished and placed the spread the table. Both Lea and Zero were surprised at the meal.

"Whoa…when you say five-star, you really mean five-star," Lea smiled.

"Thank you," Chelsea smiled, "But I can't take all the credit-most of it belongs to Mira."

Zero smiled as he saw Mira blush from slight embarrassment.

"Thank you, Mira-for helping Chelsea making this meal," Zero smiled.

Mira smiled as she bowed. Afterwards, the four friends sat and devour the food…

-Next Day-

Chelsea asked Lea to leave the house, to which Lea was a little suspicious of, but didn't question it. Zero went with him with the task of keeping Lea from the house while they set up the house for the party. As the boys went out, Mira and Chelsea began calling friends and family, telling them about the party. After twenty minutes, all the calls were sent and Mira looked at Chelsea.

"Now…the decorations…" Mira smiled.

-Outside-

Lea and Zero were hanging out on the Lumiose Tower, looking over to the city. After hanging out in the arcade, the two head up to the top of the tower to think. After a few minutes, Zero turned to Lea and smiled.

"Hey, bud?" Zero asked.

Lea turned to Zero and shook his head.

"What is it?" Lea asked, hint of sorrow in his voice.

Zero's eyes lowered and began walking to the elevator.

"Before we head back…we have one more stop," Zero replied.

Lea, knowing full well what their 'last' stop was, nodded as he followed him.

-Lumiose Garden (Garden remembering the past)-

The Lumiose Garden was placed near Ingen Circle, a new area built to expand the city. The garden was filled with flowers and small marble plates that held the name of those who have passed. The two teens walked to the end of the garden to a group of hibiscus varying of color with a blue marble plate which read:

Here lies Lucinda Maki
A woman with a heart of justice

Lea kneeled in front of the plate and placed a rose over it, tears streaming down his face.

"Lucy…I miss you. I wish you were here," Lea sniffed.

Zero held his head as he placed a hand on Lea's shoulder to comfort him. Lea's tears flowed slowly as he got up.

No matter how much I love Chelsea, I will always miss you Lucy…

The two then walked out to the garden and headed to the nearest tram…

-Home-

As they walked up to the house, Lea noticed that the house was completely dark and he tensed up.

"Zero…be careful…" Lea said.

Zero smiled as he twisted the knob on the door and pushed it open.

"Go first, then," Zero smiled.

Lea, a little wary, nodded and walked into the dark house. Suddenly, lights flashed on, blinding Lea from seeing. After a minute, Lea blinked and saw a bunch of people in his house, old friends, family…and in the middle: Chelsea.

"Wha?" Lea asked.

"SURPRISE!" everyone shouted.

Lea's eyes widen to see a large cake with a nice icing pattern on it that said 'Happy Birthday Lea!' in the middle. Lea's eyes teared up as he saw the cake and went over to Chelsea.

"I do hope you like it…" Chelsea asked.

Suddenly, Lea hugged Chelsea tightly as tears flowed down his face. Chelsea, first surprised, wrapped her arms around Lea and smiled.

"Happy Birthday Lea," she smiled.

-Hours Later-

The party went off without a hitch. Everyone enjoyed themselves as they saw Lea in a happier light. As the party went on, Chelsea noticed that Lea was a little off…more than usual. After a few minutes, Lea excused himself to his room, which worried Chelsea. After the party, the trio cleaned up and placed Lea's presents on the table in the kitchen. As Zero went to his room to get his and Mira's present, Chelsea decided to go to check on Lea. As she neared his room, she heard Lea sniffling and she knew something was wrong. She slowly opened the door and saw Lea lying in his bed, his face wet with tears. Chelsea walked over to him and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Lea? Is something wrong?" Chelsea asked.

Lea shook his head, trying to avoid the question, but that sadden Chelsea more.

"I'm sorry. Maybe the party wasn't a good idea…" Chelsea said, "I'll…um…let you rest."

Before she could get off the bed, Lea wrapped his arms around Chelsea's waist, stopping her.

"No…the party was wonderful…" Lea sobbed.

Chelsea smiled as she pulled Lea's arms off and had him lay his head in her lap. As Lea lay there, Chelsea slowly stroked his hair while she rubbed his chest.

"Is it about Lucy?" Chelsea asked.

Lea shuddered as he turned to Chelsea.

"…Yeah…" Lea moaned.

Chelsea's eyes narrowed in sadness as she continued her ministrations, calming Lea down.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Chelsea asked.

Lea lifted himself off of Chelsea and sat on the bed. He then turned his head and looked at Chelsea.

"…It hurts…but I can tell you," Lea sighed, "Two years ago…on my birthday…"

-Two Years Ago-

Lucinda, Lea, Zero and Mira were walking through Victory Road after leaving the Pokémon League. As they walked, they came to the Wishing Waterfall in the middle of the area.

"Wow…this is it, huh," Lea smiled.

When he turned around, he was hit by Lucy's lips, pulling him into a deep kiss. After a minute, she released him and smiled.

"Happy birthday, Lea," she smiled.

Lea shook his head as he hugged her closer to him, smiling.

"Thanks, even though this is the second time you're telling me," Lea smiled.

At that, Zero grabbed his shoulder and sighed.

"Well, that was the main party…this is the after-party," Zero said.

At that, Lea saw three small gifts in front of him and smiled.

"So this is three extra gifts?" Lea smiled.

Zero playfully punched Lea in the arm sand shook his head.

"Yeah…and you can thank my sister for this," Zero said.

Lea immediately hugged Lucinda and hugged her tightly.

"Thanks, babe," Lea smiled.

Before she could reply, a quake hit the mountain, causing them to fall to the ground.

"The hell was that?" Zero asked.

Suddenly, a Rhydon came charging in, rushing towards them. Mira immediately got up and created a powerful Moonblast in her hands. She then launched it at the Rhydon, making it hit the farthest wall and knocking it out. As Mira cautiously walked forward, Lucinda saw that the Rhydon was wearing a band on its neck with a bright red R brandished on it.

"Looks like Team Rocket is in here," Lucinda said.

Everyone's expression darkened as another quake hit the mountain. Zero turned to Lea and pointed at the doorway Rhydon ran through.

"Mira and I will head there," Zero said, "You two need to head in the other direction."

"Why?" Lea asked.

Before Zero spoke, Lucinda ran on ahead through the passageway, leaving them behind.

"Guess we're going in the same direction then," Lea laughed.

The trio ran ahead, trying to catch up to Lucinda. When the trio reached her, she gestured them to take a knee. As they got closer, they saw Team Rocket grunts and scientists placing collars around most of the local pokemon and controlling them.

"Why are they doing this?" Zero whispered.

"I don't know…but it won't stand!" Lucinda growled, "Mira…you mind destroying those machines?"

Mira jumped out from behind the rock and launched three potent Shadow Balls, destroying the main console. The grunts turned around and released their pokemon, only to have them faint due to Mira's powerful Psychic Blast.

"Damn it! That bitch ruined our machine!" one grunt growled.

The three teens came out of their hiding place and stood next to Mira.

"That's the least of your problems," Lucinda smiled, "The police will be here to get you."

The leading scientist laughed as he pulled out a device from his lab coat. As soon as the rest of the grunts saw the device, they immediately began running to the nearest exit.

"Oh, no you don't! Mira!" Lucinda growled.

Before Mira could attack, the scientist pushed a button and ran. Suddenly, explosions rocked the area, shaking the very core of Victory Road. The group tried their best to run, but the constant shaking wasn't helping their situation. Suddenly, the earth gave way under them and they fell to another floor. Lea looked to see that he and Lucinda were separated from Zero and Mira.

"Lucy, we better try to figure out how to get out of here," Lea said.

Lucinda nodded as she got up and followed Lea to another cavern. After what seemed like an eternity, they found an exit and the only way to reach it was an earth bridge that looked sturdy.

"Let's hurry," Lea said.

"Right," Lucinda agreed.

The duo ran across the bridge as quick as they could. Suddenly, another explosion rocked the mountain, this time causing a stalagmite to fall down towards them. Lucinda looked to see it coming towards them. Without a warning, she pushed Lea forward and jumped when the stalagmite fell, demolishing the bridge. Lea got up and turned to see that Lucinda wasn't there. He ran over to the edge to see her holding on to dear life. As the earth that she had given way, he immediately grabbed her hand.

"Gotcha!" Lea smiled.

Lucinda smiled for a short period before noticing that the earth was shaking and noticed that the patch of earth was about to give way at any given time.

"Lea! You're gonna have to let me go," Lucinda said, sadness in her voice, "Otherwise, we'll both di-"

Lea, on the other hand, wasn't about to let his love die, not if he had something to say about it.

"No way! I won't let you go!" Lea growled, "Damn those Rocket bastards!"

Lucinda smiled at her boyfriend's devotion to save her, but as the earth continue to shake and shift, she knew that he wouldn't be able to do it. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"Lea?" Lucinda said.

"Lucy, don't let go!" Lea cried, "I can't…"

Lucinda smiled as she looked at Lea with water-filled eyes.

"I know…but I want you survive…" Lucinda said, "I will always love you."

She then let go of Lea's hand, slipping out of his grasp, falling into the darkness below her.

"Goodbye…"

"LUCINDA! NOOOO!" Lea shouted.

Lea could do nothing as he saw his love fall into the abyss…

-End Flashback-

Lea cried as he hugged Chelsea deeply, his face deep in her cleavage. Chelsea didn't move as she rubbed Lea's head, holding him in her grasp.

"If only…if only I was stronger…she…she," Lea sobbed.

Chelsea sighed as she gently pulled Lea from her chest.

"It's okay…please, don't cry anymore…" Chelsea said.

Lea's sobs quieted down as he wiped his face with his shirt. After a minute, he looked at Chelsea, his eyes red.

"I miss her…" Lea said, "I know I'm with you…but…"

Chelsea shook her head as she pulled him closer.

"No, don't feel bad," Chelsea said, "I would be angry if you did forget. But…"

As Lea looked up, Chelsea grabbed his chin and pulled his face to hers. She then connected her lips to his and pulled him a deep kiss. After a few minutes, she detached her lips and looked at him.

"Just know that she wanted you to survive. She never wanted you to feel guilty," Chelsea said, a small smile on her face.

Lea looked at Chelsea and smiled.

"Thanks for everything, Chelsea," Lea said.

Chelsea shook her head at Lea.

"It was noti-mmph!" Chelsea began before Lea kissed her.

The two stayed connected like that for a couple of minutes. As they kissed, Lea got a little adventurous and grabbed her breasts. However, Chelsea broke away from him with a little smile on her face.

"Someone's frisky…but not today," Chelsea said, wagging her finger, "Wait until the day is over."

With that, she pulled him close as they lay on the bed.

"Happy Birthday, Lea," Chelsea smiled.

-Somewhere-

In the darkness, there was a simple light flickering in front of a stone. Suddenly, a figure appeared and took a knee to the light. The figure smiled as it out the light.

"Happy Birthday, Lea," the figure said.

Well, there goes the next chapter. This was severely delayed to this being a feels chapter. It was a tough journey to finish this. I do hope everyone enjoys this.
