Hello my kittens! My cute, adorable, little balls of fluff! How are you doing? I'm good! I'm hoping that this is my last filler chapter, seriously... I'm just as tired of this as you are, perhaps even more. So yes, this is a short chapter, and I do apologize but the plot is coming soon! Just hang in there! *throws a ball of yarn at you*
Please enjoy the chapter! :)
Sebastian's POV
He's kidding me right? He has GOT to be kidding me! It has to be a joke, a sick twisted joke! There can be no other explanation, no other reason but a sick joke. I mean who the hell locks a person out of their own room when they just get home?!
"Ciel, Ciel come on. Open the door." My voice was gentle and my knock was light. "I'll give you what you want... and more, I promise, just let me in." I press my head to the door to see if he even moved. But my ears detect nothing, he hasn't moved a single inch. "Please my love, let me inside, I've missed you so very much." I guess Ciel's the kind of person who would do that. I sighed in defeat once I realized the truth, with my pillow now hung to my hips I walk towards the couch for the night.
...
It wasn't hard to find sleep, even if it was spent on a sofa. By the time the sun rose the next morning I could feel something press against my chest, and my still sleeping mind immediately went into a panic attack. I did open my eyes after that, and what I saw began to calm my nerves. It was Ciel, in the flesh, and still asleep despite the jolt my body went into during my panicked state. His small body was curled on top of me, his head delicately laid on my chest. He looked so innocent whenever he slept, I've always thought he did.
"Ciel." His name purrs its way out of my mouth and his body twitches in response. My hands now run across the strands of his hair and it feels like silk against my fingertips, but it's the moment he starts to moan that makes me feel the happiest. "Ciel." I repeat his name just as I do before, "It's time to wake up." He groans in sleepy protest and a chuckle emerges from my throat. "Come on now, it's time to wake up. Let the world see your pretty blue eyes."
"Mmph."
"Okay, then let me see your pretty blue eyes." His body shifts below me and without a moment's hesitation his body is lifted and I can see his blue eyes shine in the morning sunlight.
"Good morning." I said to him with a smile.
"Morning.." His greeting was short but he still smiled back at me, "I'm sorry for how I acted last night."
"It's fine." I said with a sigh.
"No, it's not. Not really." He said back, "I kicked you out when I wanted you most. I guess it was they way you came home. I wasn't expecting you to be tired."
"You've never been on an airplane, have you?" I was sitting up, my elbows resting on my crossed legs.
"I don't remember..."
"That's probably why you weren't expecting me to be so tired." I said.
"But all you did was sit for two hours!" He said stubbornly.
"When you travel by plane you'll understand." His lips formed into a pout that I have always been fond of, his arms folded.
"So what did they say in that stupid meeting anyway?" He spat out, a pout changed into a scowl. In that instant the offer I was made flashed into my mind. The school master in his white suit, his blonde hair, his accent, how he said I couldn't bring Ciel...
"Oh, nothing really." I said with a smile, "Just a new education method that will begin in the Fall."
"Like what?" He asked.
"Well, I'll be teaching French 2 now, instead of one and two. So now I'll be teaching Juniors and Seniors." I can tell what he's thinking just by the way he smirks, and it makes me do the same.
"And as for Claude?"
"He'll be teaching Juniors and Seniors as well." I said in reply, "Only he's teaching French 1."
"Ah, I see." He moves closer to me, and I allow it, he now sits on my lap and I have a content smile on my face. "So we won't have any problems like that again?"
"No. Not like that again. Not now, not ever."
"So why did it have to be in New York?" He asked.
"Because our other staff in London had to attend."
"So they paid to have both staffs move. You do realize how stupid their logic sounds."
"It's their money." I said with a shrug of my shoulders, "It's up to them to decide what they spend it on."
"Jeez." He sighed, "What morons! I mean I know it's a private school, but do they really want to spend it all on moving their staff! I mean! Why not actually spending it on education?! Why couldn't it take place here?! It would have saved them so much money! What's wrong with Orlando, huh?!" I couldn't help but smile at the fuming teenager in my lap. The scowl on his face was still in it's place, his arms still crossing his chest, only to swat at the air occasionally. His face is dusted with a blush from all of his frustration. "I honesty don't think the community knows what they're spending their money on! I wonder what they'll think if they found out the truth. So what do you say Sebastian? Are in this with me?! Sebastian...Sebastian? Yoo hoo! Earth to Sebastian! Hey! Are you listening to me?! You're not are you! Oh I should've known! That's it! I'm going to keep talking until you say something!"
Oh yes, it's good to be home.
Okay! I think I just answered a reader's question...where do Sebastian and Ciel live? It obviously isn't England, and now we know it's not Australia...IT'S AMERICA! I wrote the beginning of this story, and More Than A Teacher (the story to which this is a sequel from) in Florida, so I decided to have them still live in Florida.
Please review and be patient, you know I will forever love you. Take care my wonderful kittens!
