This fic starts at the ending of ROTT and continues on from there. I was really unsatisfied with how it ended so I decided to write what I think happens next and this is the product

What if Jim had not found Merlin until he was 30, instead of 16, like Merlin's original prediction? Jim never becomes a Troll, therefore does not defeat Gunmar when the Eternal Night begins. Arcadia is lost and Mankind's greatest war begins. this Story will follow Jlaire throughout the 14-year war, that takes place before Merlin is discovered.
