Well hello readers.
I have decided to continue this story.

Chapter Two
Kendi's POV
"Stop it!'
The screaming and shouting only got louder.
"Stop it! Mom Stop it!"
But the screaming continued.
"Their fates! Hermes. My luke!"
"Mom stop it!"
Luke held on to me. His hands pressing harder against my ear.
I sobbed softly. My eyes closed tight.
"Stop Mom! Stop! You're scaring her."
Within moments we were moving. i felt myself being lifted and i peeked up at Luke.
"You'll be okay Kendi."
He brought me into my room, shutting the door . HE moved to the closet, pulling the door open.
"Luke?"
He then placed my blanket down on the floor of the closet.
"Luke?"
"Get in there Kendi."
"Huh?"
"Just sit in here. Ill be right back."
"Luke?"
"Just sit there."
I nodded lightly and climbed in, sitting on the floor.
"Just stay here. Dont come out until i come back."
"Okay."
"Ill be back, i promise."
"Okay."
He closed the door and he left.
I heard the door close shut and the shouting gin the hall again.
Back and Forth.
"Stop it Mom! Stop it! I hate you! Stop it!"
I heard another crash then it all stopped.
Nothing.
Silence.
And there i sat waiting in the dark. Waiting for Luke to come back and open the door. Waiting for him to come back and tell me a story. Tell me that everything was going to be okay. Making everything better.
But he didnt come.
And i lay there in the darkness. The sobs starting again.
I dont like the dark.
It scares me.
I pulled the blanket up around me, pulling it close as i lay my head against the floor.
Where is Luke?
Why isnt he back yet?
tears were still falling as my eyes grew heavy.
Heavier and heavier.
until i was asleep.
And i saw Luke and I.
It was summer and he had taken me to the park. He said it was time i learn to pump on a swing. He said i was a big kid now and i could do it. So we had gotten up early that day, sneaking out of the house before mom had woken up.
"Follow me Kendi. And quickly."
He pulled my arm as we ran through the streets to the park.
It was a small park. Only a small slide, a small swing set and a small wooden bench.
At least the park had lots of grass and trees.
Lots and lots of trees.
"You ready Kendi?"
"Yeah Luke." I said with a smile.
He pulled me to the swing set.
"Here, get on."
He held the swing still so i could get on.
"I'm gonna give you a little push the you've got to pump your legs in and out. Just like I showed you."
"Okay."
He pushed me and clumsily, i tried to pump in and out.
"Keep trying Kendi."
I kept trying in and out. In and out.
"Almost. Here like this Kendi."
He climbed on the swing next to me.
"Watch Kendi. In and out. In and out. In and out."
I tried again, sighing in frustration.
"I cant do it Luke."
"What do you mean?"
"I cant do it Luke i cant."
He stopped his swing, coming over to stop mine.
"Dont say that Kendi. You can do it."
"No I cant Luke. Lets go home."
"You cant give up yet. You just need more practice. I know you can do it."
"Luke?"
"Just keep trying."
"Okay."
"Im gonna give you a starting push."
"Okay."
He pushed me and i tried again.
In and Out.
In and Out.
In and Out.
"You're doing it Kendi."
"Huh?"
"You're doing it Kendi! I told you that you could do it."
I woke up soon after. My eyes fluttering open to the darkness.
I sighed, rubbing my eyes and blinking a few times.
Where's Luke?
Why is it so dark?
I stood up, my legs shaking slightly, my blanket wrapped tightly around me. I pushed the door open. My room was dark. and the house was quiet. Very quiet.
Carefully, I opened up the door and walked out into the hallway.
The house was dark.
It seemed so empty.
And i was scared.
I turned to Luke's room and pushed his door open.
Inside, his room was empty.
No sign of him anywhere.
I walked in and made my way to his bed.
It was made as neatly as he could.
Luke always let me sleep in here with him. He said he could always chase away my nightmares and i could chase away his.
And now i couldnt find him.
He wasnt here.
He should have been here.
He should have found me.
Luke?
