A/N: To be honest, I wasn't feeling the 'spirit' in this chapter. Mostly because I keep on getting ideas for future chapters, and my brain is like a train, and it just keeps on going. I have to put up barricades so I don't get ahead of myself. That's probably why I didn't have this out sooner. Sorry guys. But next chapter is going to be the 'bomb', so to speak. So much action will be in it, that I just need to contain my excitement. Anywho, carry on, everyone!

Carribean Sea – June 22 20:08

The Team was in the bioship, everyone looking very serious and tentative. Stern expressions were on their faces. After all, this was their first official mission. They couldn't mess it up.

"We're approaching Santa Prisca", Miss Martian said, breaking the silence. Nobody had flinched at the sudden voice, they were focused, to say the least.

Robin thought about the mission at hand. This was the places of a dangerous neo-steroid. It was sold under the street name, Venom. Their facility is still activating at full capacity. It's a covert recon mission only, to observe and report. He remembered asking, "Who's in charge?" When Batman didn't give him a definite answer, he smirked.

'I'm going to be the leader. After all, I have the most experience', Robin thought deviously to himself.

"Drop zone A in 30", Miss Martian said, once again breaking the silence, and breaking Robin out of his thoughts.

"I was thinking that I should go with Aqualad…" Alice called out as she stood up when she saw the Atlantean stand up. "We both have water based powers, it shouldn't be a problem", Alice reasoned as she shrugged her shoulders. Miss Martian nodded while Danny glanced at her out of his vision. 'Is she trying to…Avoid me?' Danny thought as he watched Aqualad and Alice turn their costumes into 'Stealth' mode. Aqualad's shirt turned grey, while Alice had a Black jumpsuit on, rather than a light blue one.

"Ready", Aqualad said as he looked up at the supposed 'leader'.

"Putting bioship into camouflage mode", she said as she turned a button at her console. The ship went down to the water a little, before holes below Aqualad and Alice's feet opened up, plummeting them into the water below. They had the same diving formation as they slipped into the water below. As Aqualad had gills to allow him to breathe, Alice had formed a transparent air bubble to allow her to breathe.

They swam to the net and as Aqualad brought out a water sword to cut through, Alice shook her head and brought up a finger. She pointed across the net in the water, a steady rip appearing as she moved her finger. Aqualad nodded and continued to swim to the surface, Alice not far behind. As they walked onto the surface, Aqualad ran and plugged in a device at the machine that was located on the shore.

"Heat and motion sensors are patched. Data is now on a continuous loop, move in", Aqualad said as he reached up to the com in his ear to alert the team. Alice walked up on the shore as well, her transparent bubble disappearing as it reverted back into water, falling harmlessly onto the beach's sand. Aqualad looked up and smiled before darting to the forest in front of him. Alice did the same.

"Drop Zone B", Miss Martian said as everyone else in the ship stood up. Wally turned his yellow and red suit to a grey suit. Wally looked at his suit and smiled, before turning to face the Martian.

"How cool is this?" He chimed out in excitement.

"Very impressive", she said in mock interest as she turned her super suit telepathically into a black and red one as she looked on at Kid Flash to see his reaction.

"Uh…That works too", he said, at a loss of words for being up shown, "Hey Supey! Not too late to put on the new stealth tech".

Super Boy looked at him with a bored expression, "No capes, no tights", he said as he crossed his arms, "No offense".

"It totally works for you", Miss Martian said in a 'dream like' tone. As Super Boy glanced at her, she jumped and put her hands up defensively, "In that you can totally do good work in those clothes…"

Danny looked on with a raised eyebrow, he then looked at Robin, "Smooth", he mumbled as he drifted his hand through the air. He received a small amount of laughter from his brother.

After a minute of silence, Miss Martian turned herself invisible, a small hole appeared underneath the teens feet. Since Danny and Miss Martian could float down safely to the bottom, Robin and Wally had to use a secure line to land themselves at the bottom. Once they were all waiting on the ground, they noticed they were missing Super Boy. They glanced up and noticed that he had jumped without using a secure line. They ran out of the way to avoid being flattened by their teammate. As Super Boy had landed, he had caused a dirt smoke screen to cover the area, he had also caused a small crater at his feet.

As Super Boy stood up he looked triumphantly at the distance, "Knew I didn't need a line", he said with confidence.

Robin scoffed as he had dodged into a tree, "And yet creating a seismic event, may not have helped us much with the covert", he hissed at his teammate.

They heard the forest animals in the distance, and Miss Martian hovered in the air as she tapped the com link in her ear. "Drop zone B is a go, Aqualad".

"Head for the factory. I'll track your GPS and rendezvous with you ASAP", Aqualad said as he was being lifted up the mountain side by Alice's water geyser that she had summoned from the damp rain forest air molecules around her.

"Roger that", Robin said as he had brought out the mini-monitor hologram from his glove to locate that factory. Once he had spotted the right way to go, he and his Team ran deeper into the forest.

As drop zone B members were walking on the trail, it was silent. Robin had out his hologram monitor out once again, taking a glance at the map that he had installed. Super Boy was walking calmly along the route, when suddenly his super hearing had picked up a 'snapping' sound.

"Did you hear that?" Super Boy called out in alarm, alerting his fellow team members.

They had stopped in the middle of the trail, "Uh…No?" Wally asked as he gave Super Boy a raised eyebrow. "Wait…Is this a 'super hearing' thing?"

"You do have great ears", Miss Martian said, once again in her 'dream like' tone.

"Whatever we do we have to stick" Danny said as he turned to the front, looking for his little brother, and sighed when he didn't see him, "Together…" Danny deadpanned.

"Rob?" Wally called out quietly, "Man, I hate it when he does that", Wally scowled as he stomped his foot lightly on the ground.

"Super Boy, Kid, switch to infer red. See if we're being tracked", Aqualad called through the com's.

Wally wasted no time to pull down his goggles, red glowing lines appeared. "Got a squad of armed bozo's incoming", Wally said as he snuck is way towards them.

Super Boy squinted and saw another squad through the trees. "Two squads…But they'll meet each other before they meet us".

There was repeated gunshots, it sounded like a gun fight was in process. Danny swallowed as he hovered down to the ground. "No super hearing required now", Wally replied playfully.

"Move to the west side. Steer clear", Aqualad ordered with panic lingering in his voice.

Wally rolled his eyes under his goggles, "Yeah, yeah, as soon as I find Rob", he said as he made his way over to the sounds.

"Kid! Stop!" Danny yelled and then decided to follow him.

"Phantom!" Miss Martian shouted.

As Danny tried to catch up to Kid Flash, he noticed that using his super speed on mud, wasn't exactly his brightest move tonight. He saw his teammate fall, rolling down the hill, uncontrollably, and landing smack dab in the middle of the ongoing gun fight. As Wally lifted up his goggles, he saw a muscular man with a mask giving him a glare with his gun aimed at him.

"So much for the 'stealthy'", he deadpanned, though his eyes were wide in fear.

As gun shots rained over him, Wally tried his best to dodge with his super speed, although he was slipping and sliding all over the place. Danny clenched his teeth as he made an ecto-shield over himself and grabbed Wally forcefully into it.

"You would have thought that you'd learn to not run into things", Danny scolded as Wally just gave him a shy smile. Super Boy appeared and jammed a fist right into the face of the masked man. However, he seemed to be overpowered, for the next thing the Kryptonian knew, he hand a hand on his face, pushing him into the ground. Super Boy growled and thrust his hand up to the masked man's body and threw his towering form over his head as if he were nothing more than a wet paper towel.

Robin appeared from the treetops and landed on some guys before throwing a couple of punches at them, "What is wrong with you guys? Remember? Covert? Why didn't you follow my lead? Vanish into the jungle?" He asked his teammates in rage.

"That's what you were doing? Remind you to fill us in. We're not mind readers you know", Wally snapped back as he exited the ecto-shield that had protected him.

Miss Martian had thrown a soldier against another using her telekinesis, resulting in them both falling to the ground, unconscious. She then looked up at the argument taking place.

"Er…Well, I'm not, anyway", Wally said shyly.

"You told me I could only read the bad guys' minds", Miss Martian stated.

Robin then looked at two guys running away from the gun fight, both cloaked in red robs. He got out two bat-a-rangs and was prepared to throw them at the unsuspecting run aways, when suddenly two figures jumped down from the tree tops. Aqualad placed his hand on one of the men's heads and electrocuted them, his tattoo's lighting up a vibrant blue as he did so. Alice manifested a water mallet and knocked it into the head of the last man. He fell to the ground unconscious, and Alice placed the water mallet over her shoulder as she stood with Aqualad. He then glanced down and noticed a communicator on the ground. He stepped on it with his bare feet and it made a final 'squee' before it combusted into broken wires.

"I recognized those uniforms…They belong to the cult of the cobra", Robin said, looking at the men tied up against a nearby tree.

"I am certain Batman would have mentioned it if he knew a dangerous extremist was Santa Prisca's Venom operation", Aqualad justified.

"Agreed. And since there's obviously no love lost between those goons…I'm betting Venom came in and tossed them out", Robin said, a hand on his chin. "That's why normal supply lines have been cut off".

"We get it. Cobra wanted super cultists. Radio Bats and we'll be home in time-"

Wally was cut off from Robin, "These cultists aren't on Venom. Cobra's hoarding the stuff. We don't leave. Not until I know why".

"Until you know why", Wally said as he narrowed his eyes.

"This Team needs a leader", Robin justified.

"And it's you", Wally said sarcastically. "Dude you're a 13 year old kid who walked out on us without a word".

Robin chuckled, "And you're an immature 15? You blew our cover first chance you got!"

"Don't you want to lead?" Miss Martian asked Super boy.

He scoffed at the idea as he shook his head, "You?"

M'Gann put her hands up defensively. "After the 'Mister Twister' fiasco?"

Super Boy smiled in comfort, "You did alright". This received a blush from the green skinned girl.

Alice watched her two teammates argue back and forth, "It's better if no one's leader at this rate", she said grimly as she sat down on a nearby rock. "Although, I think the oldest should lead…" Alice said as she looked up at Aqualad.

He smiled at the comment, "Do you think that I could really lead this team?" Aqualad asked in sincerity.

Alice nodded, "You're the only one capable…At this point, at least". Danny glanced at Alice and she stood up and faced her back to him.

"Hydrowave…" Danny said, and she looked at him out of the corner of her eye.

"What?" Alice snapped back in a dark tone.

"Whatever I did…I'm sorry", Danny said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"I don't care anymore, Phantom. I think it would be best if we stayed away from each other for a little bit", Alice said as she crossed her arms.

"You haven't talked to me at all tonight…Or for a couple of days. Is it wrong that I should be concerned?" Danny snapped back.

"Oh I don't know. Maybe it's the fact that you're an insensitive jerk!" Alice snapped back.

"How am I the jerk? You're such a hypocrite!"

"Ha! And you think that you're 'Super awesome Sally'? Get real!"

Super Boy caught someone whisper over by the tree, it was the captive's from the gun fight that they had stopped.

"Look at them argue! Free yourself and take them while they're distracted!"

"Quiet! For now I play along. They'll give me what I need".

Super Boy smirked, knowing that he was the only one that heard, and knew their plans.

"Yeah! Well, you don't even have super powers!" Wally yelled back as he walked by the prisoners.

"Neither does Batman!" Robin defended.

"Chuh! You're not Batman!" Wally snapped.

"Chuh! Closest thing we've got!" Robin mocked Wally.

The masked man started to laugh, "Such clever ninos. But you only know half the story. Let me show you the rest. Get you into the factory. VIP my secret entrance".

M'Gann bent down and clutched her head, "There is a secret entrance…But he's also hiding something". Her eyes lit up a brilliant white as she tried to peer deeper into the mysterious stranger's mind.

"Ah, ah, ah, chica!" The masked man lectured, "Bane is not that easy".

The Martian scowled, "Gah, he's mentally reciting futball scores…In espanol…This could take a while", she said as she turned back to her teammates with worry.

"It's not complicated", Bane said with a smirk, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend".

The Team looked wearily at each other. Aqualad nodded, saying that the team should let him lead them. Alice crossed her arms and only looked at the man, much like Super Boy was doing. "Are we seriously letting him do this?"

"Do you have a better idea?" Danny asked nonchalantly as he glared at her. She glared back.

"Yeah, how about you stop talking to me!" Alice snapped back.

"We should not argue in this man's presence", Aqualad said as he started to untie him.

After casting each other a deathly glare, Danny and Alice walked away, in opposite directions.

The group came to the edge of the cliff, where Bane pointed down to the factory. Robin got out a pair of binoculars, and observed what was going down below them. He noticed shipments of crates being brought outside.

"Look at all that product", he remarked. "A buy is going down. But if Cobra isn't dealing with the normal suspects then…"

"We need to identify that buyer", Aqualad said with a serious tone.

"Just what I was thinking", Wally responded as he stood up, lifting his goggles over his face.

"Yeah! You're the thinker", Robin said with a smirk.

"Sarcasm?" Wally deadpanned. "Dude. A real leader would focus on getting answers".

They heard a sudden noise and noticed that Bane had moved a large boulder, which revealed a mine shaft. "Answers", Bane mocked Wally as he stood in front of the entrance. "Are this way".

"So now El Luchador is our leader!" Wally mumbled, his words dripping with sarcasm. The team followed the muscular man as he led them through various mining corridors. As a door appeared, he opened it and glanced inside. Robin did the same, which annoyed Bane.

"All clear!" Robin said as he ran into the clear open area. The team entered cautiously, unlike their little companion.

"Has the little fool already been caught?" Bane asked as he turned towards the team.

"No", Aqualad said in irritation, "He just does that".

"Stay here. I'll get our intel and be back before the boy wonder!" Wally yelled as he pulled his goggles down over his face and ran at his super quick speed.

"Wait!" Aqualad yelled out and tried to grab him, only for him to be grabbing air. Danny face palmed, only for Bane to smirk.

"Great chain of command", Bane commented. The rest of the Team looked at each other with discomfort.

Alice sighed as she crossed her arms, "This is already too deep as it is. We should have just pulled out".

"Because everyone would have listened to you", Danny said with a roll of his eyes. Alice ignored him as she looked at the ground. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that."

They heard machinery being operated and hid behind some local crates. The 6 looked on, taking in and noting what they could find.

"It's a massive shipment", Aqualad said.

"Yeah, but they're only taking new product off the line. They're hardly touching this venom." Super Boy said.

"Maybe…Freshness counts?" M'Gann pondered.

"Or maybe it's a new and improved formula?" Danny asked.

"Helicopters coming", Super Boy warned as he looked into the sky.

"Miss Martian, Phantom, could you look outside, but do it invisibly?" Aqualad asked, and the two teens bobbed their heads. In a matter of seconds they were gone.

The helicopter had landed and revealed Sportsmaster. He walked out of his transportation vehicle as the engine started to die down. He noticed Cobra standing outside the helicopter and smiled under his mask as he walked up to his supplier.

"Lord Cobra", Sportsmaster addressed.

"Sportsmaster", Cobra said with respect. "The shipment is ready".

Sportsmaster took a vial with blue liquid and looked at his supplier in question, "The new Cobra venom?" He asked as he tilted his head in suspicion.

"A complete success…Our…Friends…Will not be disappointed", Cobra said with a smirk on his face.

"This is a game changer…Finally, we can take out the Justice League, mano a mano", Sportsmaster said as he threw the vial in the air before catching it with skill.

'Aqualad. Sending you a telepathic image of the buyer now', Miss Martian thought as she placed a hand on her head.

Aqualad waited patiently before having an image being forced into his head. "Sportsmaster", he said in recognition, "He is the buyer?"

Super Boy just shook his head, while Bane looked to the side at the business taking place outside. Alice watched Bane with interest before narrowing her eyes in suspicion.

"Aqualad to Red Tornado…Do you…" Aqualad said as he brought two fingers up to his ear to com him. He was met with static. "Ugh! Can't reach the League, or Robin. The com is jammed." He then looked at his two teammates before him. "We need a plan. Now".

"I have a suggestion", Bane said as he jumped down from the ledge that they were currently on. Alice growled as she tried to stop him by grabbing him, only for her to be met with air. He landed on the ground, alerting the guards below that there was an intruder in the vicinity. He punched the guards as the others started firing their weapons. This alerted everyone, and now the facility was on high alert.

"What is he-?"

Aqualad was interrupted by an enormous being jumping through the window behind them and tackling them to the floor. Alice made a protective water shield around them as they landed harmlessly on the ground. The figure landed on the ground and punched the water shield, making Alice fly back into the guards behind them, knocking them all on the ground.

"Destroy them!" Cobra rang out.

The creature then ran towards Super Boy. They were locked in a stale mate as they could hold each other off, neither moving a muscle, until the creature overwhelmed the teen, forcing him into the concrete below. Aqualad removed the two weapons from behind his back and immediately they started to glow a vibrant blue. He took a stance and charged at the two guards in front of them.

Alice got up, only to dodge some gunshots. She cartwheeled away from the incoming attack and noticed that Bane was nowhere in sight. "That crummy good for nothing-!" She was interrupted as she felt her side dripping. He looked down and noticed that she had been shot. She hissed in pain before looking up at the two guards in front of her, each with a confident smirk on their face. "You really thought that was a good idea?" She asked in a dark tone. They stumbled backwards and fired some more. The bullets were met with a transparent water shield, the water catching the bullets like paper. She started to laugh, mostly due to shock, it had been a while since she had been shot. "I'll give you two good reasons why!"

Water emerged from the water wall with a sudden force as it connected to the two guards. Like a snake, the water particles wrapped around the neck of the two guards. Each one making 'gurgling' sounds until they nearly suffocated. At that point she let the water fall, only knocking the guards unconscious.

Miss Martian and Phantom hovered above the fight scene in confusion. 'We should help', M'Gann rang into Danny's head.

'But then we'd lose the cover-!" Danny was interrupted by a spear being thrown in the air. M'Gann caught sight of it and jumped in front of Danny and nimbly dodged the spear. If it were just a spear, that is. The spear exploded in the air, sending the Martian and the half ghost away from the fight, and also making them visible.

Super Boy kept throwing punches and receiving them from the creature. Neither of them getting tired, and neither of them letting up. Aqualad had to go into defensive measures, since he was in the line of gunfire. He made a shield of water, like Alice had been doing, only it was more compact, and more circular. Water would shoot out of the wall and towards the guards that were shooting him.

As Aqualad continued to back up, he took cover behind the pole that was a few feet behind him. He panted and tried to catch his breath when two more guards showed up, their guns aiming right at him. At this moment Wally showed up and ran himself into them, causing the two guards to have a nice confrontation with the hard cement ground below them. Wally, however, evaded a close gunshot to his right shoulder as he also sought cover behind a pole.

"Miss Martian, radios are jammed! Link us up!" Aqualad ordered, he raised his voice, trying to be heard above all the noise taking place.

M'Gann shook her head, knocking away the disorientation she felt at falling on the hard ground. She then put a hand to her forehead. 'Everyone online?'

Super Boy dodged another punch, 'Yeah'.

Wally was still taking shelter behind the same pole, but with a huge grin on his face. 'You know it beautiful', he thought.

'Good', Aqualad said as he looked at the gun being fired, 'We need to regroup'.

'Busy now', Came the annoyed voice of Robin.

"Well Batman must be desperate…If he sends his whelp to take me", Cobra said in an unamused tone. They were standing by the helicopter, standing across from each other.

"What wrong Cobby?" Robin taunted, "You look disconcerted!"

"This is beneath me…" Cobra said, his voice never giving away what he thought. "Shimmer, take him".

A woman appeared behind Cobra and charged at Robin. The boy wonder had a smirk on his face, and it never left as he flipped over the woman, her punch meeting the unsatisfying air. He had a fighting stance prepared, until he heard Aqualad's pressing voice.

'Robin! Now!' Aqualad ordered. Robin frowned as he threw a flash bomb down on the ground, turning everything in the area a blinding white.

Danny and Alice were walking up to the guards together. Her water shield blocking incoming projectiles. He was unleashing ecto-blasts at the guards, which were harmless, but still painful. Alice was resorting to just spouting out streams of water at her enemies pressure points, and watching as they unceremoniously hit the ground.

'We need to retreat', Aqualad said as he had out his two weapons. They weren't glowing any color, or had any form, which meant that he was open for an attack. 'Kid, clear a path!'

Wally nodded, although he doubted anyone could see him. He ran at a quick speed, knocking over guards that were in his way as he did as he was told. He cleared a path. Alice scowled as she saw her team was retreating. She then glanced over at Sportsmaster who gave her a sarcastic wave.

"Don't worry. I'll give your father an update on how you've been", he said as he smirked. She growled at the response but didn't have enough time to give him one of her attacks, since her party was already retreating. She ran away, which Sportsmaster let out a chuckle.

Alice looked up and saw the Team heading through the door from which they came through. She also saw Super Boy with the creature that had jumped through the window. She was going to help, but then saw that Super Boy gave her a shook of his head. She nodded at the message and ran through the door, just when Super Boy lunged the creature at the guards behind them. He then closed the door when he entered. Danny then tried to glue the door shut with his ecto-beams.

"That's not going to hold them for long", Danny said, trying to catch his breath.

He saw the door start to crack, and he gulped. "Or not at all", he said as he started to run. The others following suit. They heard the door coming down behind them, making them all run a little bit faster.

"Super Boy! The support beams!" Aqualad ordered.

Super Boy punched the wooden beams over, resulting in a cave in. He would have been caught in it too, if M'Gann hadn't grabbed his hand and flew them safely away. Now, they were in complete darkness.

"Phantom, I need a light", Aqualad said. Danny lit up a small ecto-blast on his hand, lighting the entire cave in an eerie green light. M'Gann had shivers running down her spine, remembering the time she and Danny had went into 'The ghost zone'. Aqualad found a red glow stick and cracked in half due to his strength. Even though he had broken it, it had still lit up the area.

Robin looked at the cave in and then down at the ground, "How could my first mission as leader go so wrong?"

"You do have the most experience…But perhaps that has left you unprepared. Fighting alongside Batman your roles are…Defined. You two do not need to talk. But…This team is new. And the leader must be clear. Explicit. They cannot vanish and allow other to play the parts in an unknown plan", Aqualad lectured.

"Oh! So I'm supposed to hold everyone's hands!" Robin snapped. Alerting everyone to his semi-emotional breakdown. He then scoffed, before smiling, "Who am I kidding? You should lead us, Kaldur. You're the only one who can".

"Please! I can run circles-!"

"Wally, come on. You know he's the one. We all do", Robin said in a soft voice. Danny rose an eyebrow at his brothers sudden change in disposition…'Since when does he ever talk like that?'

Alice smiled at her team not arguing for once. She then looked down at her side. She sighed as she grabbed it and put pressure on it. Only for a slight charge of pain to be erupted inside of her body. She looked at Danny, who was eyeing her carefully. She then stuck her tongue out and pulled down on her right eye. He flinched at the unexpected reaction and looked away.

"Hello Megan! It's so obvious!" M'Gann said with a smile.

"See?" Alice asked Aqualad who nodded as he smiled.

"Could have told you", Super Boy said in agreement.

"I think Kaldur will do great", Danny said as he smiled as well.

Everyone else in the room looked at Wally, who had his hands on his hips. "Okay!" He said with excitement. Aqualad then walked up to Robin.

"Then I accept the burden", he said as he put a hand on the young boy's shoulder, "Until you are ready to lift it off my shoulders". Robin smiled in response. "You were born to lead this team. Maybe not now, but soon". Robin nodded, his smile never leaving his face. "Alright! First priority is to not let that shipment leave this island".

"Funny, I had the same thought", Robin said.

"Sportsmaster's the supplier/buyer. But it still doesn't make sense! He doesn't have the juice to acquire the Blockbuster formula. Or to get Cobra to do his dirty work".

The team was running through the mine shaft when suddenly they stopped, due to Bane appearing at the exit.

"Halt ninos. I'm feeling explosive", Bane said, his hands lingering on the trigger. At this the team looked up and noticed the bombs at the top of the cave.

"You betrayed us!" Aqualad yelled. "Why?"

"I want my factory back", Bane reasoned.

'Kid, you'll need a running start', Aqualad said telepathically.

"So I led you to a situation in which you would either take down my enemies…Or die trying!" Bane said grimly. "If the latter, the Justice League surely would have to come to avenge their side kicks. And when the smoke cleared, Santa Prisca would be mine once more! Blowing the tunnel with you inside…Should have the same effect", Bane said as he went to push the trigger, only there was a black and red blur going past him. When he expected a 'boom' he was met with nothing.

"With what?" Called a voice behind Bane. He looked behind him, shocked. Wally flashed him a smile while leaning up against a tree, he held the trigger in his hands, taunting the villain, "This trigger thingy?"

He yelled out in rage, and charged at Kid Flash, only to be hovered in the air several feet. Miss Martian walked up to him, her arm outstretched as she smiled.

"Finally", Super Boy said as he walked up to him, looking in the air with a dangerous glint in his eyes, "Drop him", he ordered. M'Gann did so, the small smile never leaving her face as Super Boy arched his arm back, about to deliver a punch.

"The helicopter is operational, exalted one", one of the red robbed guards said as he did a little bow. Sportsmaster said nothing to him as he walked towards his helicopter, only for a line of guards to be trampled by a red and black blur.

"Take the shipment", Cobra ordered.

Super Boy landed on the ground from seemingly nowhere, causing a crater in his wake. He looked up at the creature he was fighting before. A smile reached his lips, "Go again?"

The creature snarled, and charged at the teen, only for it to be swept away with water. Aqualad and Alice had been over by the water, causing a powerful torrent. "Sorry, not the plan", Super Boy said with a smile.

Sportsmaster took out a gun and began firing it at Super Boy. Each shot he fired was met with a grunt of pain from the teen. M'Gann was invisible and inside the helicopter, she saw the activities taking place outside the helicopter. Sportsmaster snuck up on her and brought his arm around her neck, all the while continuing to fire shots at Super Boy.

Kid Flash took out more guards before reaching down and taking something off the ground, "Souvenir!" He then ran away to deal with more guards.

Robin threw a projectile at the girl named Shimmer, which successfully bounded her and she fell to the ground, useless. He then looked up at Cobra with a smirk, "I know you hate to get your hands dirty".

"True", Cobra said as he stiffened his body, "But even a God must stoop to conquer".

Robin smirked as he charged at Cobra. He tried to knee him in the stomach, which Cobra dodged. When that attack didn't work, Robin then tried to sweep him off his feet with a kick to his feet, but Cobra hadn't moved a muscle. He then tried to round house kick him to the head, which Cobra caught the lad's foot, before kicking him in his stomach. The attack sent the boy wonder back, and he flipped himself back on the ground. He narrowed his eyes at his opponent.

"What's wrong, boy?" Cobra asked. "You look disconcerted".

Danny helped Kid Flash take out the remaining guards, and Aqualad and Alice finished up the creature. Alice had submerged the creature in water and Aqualad used a lightning attack to defeat him. The creature fell to the ground.

"Thanks for the workout, but I gotta fly", Sportsmaster said as he tossed the Martian at Super Boy, whom he caught, but both fell to the ground. As Sportsmaster began to fly away in his helicopter, Miss Martian pulled out the trigger from the cave sight. Secretly, when Sportsmaster was occupied, she had planted the device in the helicopter. She gave a grin when she pushed down on the trigger.

The helicopter was on fire and was falling back down to the factory. Sportsmaster 'abandoned ship' and parachuted his way into the jungle. However, now there was a huge explosion as the factory caught on fire.

"Huh…I guess Bane won't be getting his factory back", Alice said with a smirk.

"I am plagued by mosquitos!" Cobra said in his same unamused tone. He dug his foot, deeper into Robin's chest as he lay on the ground. Robin let out a groan of pain as he tried to wretch the foot off his chest. It was getting harder for him to breathe.

"Good. Because this mosquito is slightly disconcerted over your pain!" Robin yelled as he flung his legs outwards and flipped backwards, reuniting with his team as they stood together with him.

"Another time then", Cobra said, eyeing up all the teens. He backed into the forest, and disappeared out of sight. Dissatisfied, Robin looked for him as he ran after him and peered into the forest, however, he saw nothing but pure darkness. He sighed before reuniting with his team.

"We picked the right guy to lead", Robin said in his soft voice he was using back in the mine shaft. "Automatically making you the right guy to explain this mess to Batman!" Robin said as he waved his arms in emphasis at the building in front of them, burning down slowly. Robin then started to chuckle as he walked away.

Aqualad looked down at the ground in worry. Alice came up to him and put a hand on his shoulder, "Don't worry. I'll take my share of the blame", she said with a soft smile.

"Me too, Aqualad", Danny said as he put his hand on the other shoulder that wasn't occupied.

"I offered first, Danny", Alice said with a smile, but her eye was twitching.

"And I offered second, Alice", Danny said as he took his hand of his friend's shoulder. Alice did the same, she then stormed off towards the bioship. Danny just scowled before crossing his arms and doing the same.

Mount Justice – August 4, 01:06

The team was all lined up in their civilian clothes. Batman was furious, to say the least.

"A simple recon mission. Report", Batman said as he got into Aqualad's face. He then walked away from Aqualad and looked at each teen in the line. "You'll each receive evaluations detailing your many mistakes. Until then…Good Job".

The teens were all looking at the ground before looking up and then a t him suddenly.

"No battle plan survives first contact with the enemy. How you adjust to the unforeseen is how you determine your success", Batman said as he walked away. "And how you chooses who leads…Determines character".

At this, Kaldur and Richard bother grinned.

A/N: I've just totally gotten all caught up on Arrow, and I was kinda disappointed about it. Considering that Deathstroke is my favorite villain of all time, the interpretation that they did on that show...I just want to crawl into bed and cry.
