A/N: Yo yo yo! Soo, this might be a little late. But school was pretty cram packed tastic and I needed to focus on that. Well, aside from that I have started a few other crossovers (which was stupid) and I was working on those for a bit. In this chapter it's basically a filler chapter. I needed to finish up Sam's little part in this story until she comes back. And then the next chapter or the one after that, Danny is going to visit Amity Park for his parents' death anniversary. And the villain is an OC Flash villain because Flash always has the weirdest villains.

Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom or Young Justice.

The Not So Amazing Switch!

Danny yawned as he tried to stay awake at the dinner table. Jazz was reading through a book written by an esteemed psychologist and Ellie was playing with her cereal. Richard and Bruce had pulled a late night dealing with Two Face who had broken out of the asylum at two in the morning.

"Hey, Danny?" Ellie asked and the young hybrid groaned in response as he tiredly shifted his eyes to the young girl at the table.

"Hmm?" He asked as he closed his eyes, trying to get more sleep than what he had initially acquired.

The girl shifted in her seat as she set down the spoon so it rested alongside the bowl. "Are you busy today?" She asked with a sheepish grin.

At this question, Jazz immediately darted her eyes to the two of them, placing her book down on the table rather than in front of her. "His math teacher assigned a take home test that's due tonight online, isn't that right, Danny?" Jazz asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh yeah…That's right…" Danny trailed as his tone was straight and devoid of any emotion as he leaned against his seat, relaxing his posture as he began to slide down his seat slowly.

"But…What if we only play Doom for an hour?" Ellie asked, trying to spend time with her brother any way that she could.

Danny sighed as he suddenly stood up, "I should really get started on that take home test…I don't want to fail that class…" He trailed as he began to push in his seat, only for his phone to go off in his pocket, which Ellie glared at. Her glare turned darker when she saw that her brother had taken it out and smiled sheepishly at what was displayed. "I'm going to go out for a bit," he stated as he started to head to the door.

Jazz laughed slowly, "Sam wants to do some catching up?" She asked with a knowing grin that started to spread across her face.

"It's not like that!" Danny yelled in embarrassment as his face lit up red as he tried to shake it away with the slight shake of his head. "Anyway!" He yelled in a rushed manner as he quickened his pace towards the front of the entrance. "See you guys in a few hours!"

"Danny!" Ellie yelled as she suddenly got to her feet. She casted a glare in the direction he left in before turning into her ghost half as she hovered in the air. "He's going to spend today with me!" She yelled as she narrowed her now glowing green eyes as she turned invisible.

Jazz sighed as she rolled her eyes, "Those two…" She trailed at her sibling's actions as she glanced back at her book only to find Richard standing a few feet by the table. She jumped slightly at his quiet entrance and wondered if Danny and Ellie had seen him come down. "Dick, good morning!" She greeted with a smile on her face.

"Morning!" He chided in his happy tone. "Where are the wonder twins off to?" He asked curiously as he sat down with a glass of orange juice that he had gotten from the kitchen.

"You don't even want to know…" She trailed as she rolled her eyes once again, though she had a thin smile on her face. "How was last night?"

Richard had a triumphant grin on his face as he put his arms across his chest lazily, "We caught him. Took us an hour, but we finally managed to get him back to Arkham…" He trailed as his grin faded into a thin line on his face, "How's…Harleen doing?" He asked cautiously.

Jazz sighed in response, "Not any better…But I have been assigned her therapist…" She said softly as she looked down at her hands which were placed on top of the table. Richard nodded in understanding as he stood up. He was about to walk away when Bruce was rushing down the stairs in his fancy suit.

"Alfred make sure to keep me updated if anything changes," Bruce said as he reached the bottom of the stairs.

"Ah, Master Bruce, Master Danny's school is having their annual open house. Shall I open a slot for you?" Alfred asked with a nod as Bruce slowed his steps down as he glanced back at the butler with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes. I believe I need to have a stern discussion with this teacher of his. There's no reason why Danny is getting detentions constantly…" He trailed as he turned around and noticed his two children staring at him with inquiring looks.

Jazz stood up as she closed her book, "If you need me to go with I will," she suggested, though she already had it in her mind that she was going.

Richard nodded his head in agreement, "When is it?" He asked with a grin on his face.

Bruce mulled the thought over in his head until he decided that he should take his entire family with him. It was an open house, after all, and no one will be suspicious about the entire Wayne clan coming with. "Tomorrow," he stated curtly as he grabbed his coat, "Dick, Red Tornado will be in charge of missions for today. Make sure to tell Danny to meet you there."

"Alright," Richard said with a grin, "See ya," he stated with a slight wave of his hand, and Bruce couldn't help but smile as he exited out the door, waiting for his limo driver to do the same as Alfred only gave the children a slight roll of his eyes at Bruce's behavior before following his actions.

Once they were alone in the house, Jazz turned to Dick with a grin, "You know, one of these days you have to show me your little hideout," she stated as she grabbed her book before retreating up the steps. It was her day off, and she was going to enjoy it by going through her journal that she had kept. It seemed as if the days just went too quickly, and she knew that her parents' death date was coming up, and she needed to prepare for it.

"Sure thing!" Dick said with a grin before he headed down the passageway that led to the Bat Cave. Jazz glanced down at his retreating form as she was heading up with a soft smile on her face. Now she had a bigger family than what she had started with, and she honestly didn't know how to feel about that.

Ellie sighed dejectedly as she lost sight of her brother before finally floating down to the ground. She undid her transformation behind a trash can as she walked out into the busy streets of Gotham. "Where did he go…?" She asked slowly as she glanced down both ways of the sidewalk in case she had noticed him.

"Well, lookie here," Alice said from behind her as Ellie gasped. The half ghost turned around and backed away at the newcomer before she placed her hand on her rapidly beating chest.

"Alice," Ellie stated as she stood up straighter, "What are you doing here?" She asked suspiciously, knowing that she was doing a guilty act and thought that she had gotten caught.

Alice looked around the busy streets of Gotham before her unwavering gaze landed on the young girl, who looked far too suspicious for any normal sane person, "Enjoying my day off from school…" She trailed as she crossed her arms, "And was about to go to the Zeta tube…When suddenly a wild half ghost appears in front of me!"

Ellie chuckled sheepishly, "Seemed like a nice day for a walk…" She trailed as she shrugged. After seeing the intense stare of the water user in front of her, she placed a hand out, "Okay, flight. But they're still the same thing!"

"You were totally following Danny," Alice said, and at the shocked expression of the young girl, she knew that she had guessed right, "You're like a little puppy, aren't you?" She asked with a teasing grin as Ellie started to grow flustered. "I think he might be out on a date, so you should-"

The ground started to shake furiously as Alice's eyes went wide. Before Ellie could even tumble over, Alice brought the girl behind her in a protective manner and casted a water shield around them, preventing them from being harmed. As the wave was over, Ellie looked over to Alice in a confused fashion. "Are there Earthquakes here?" She asked as the shield fell to the ground in a heap of water.

"No…" Alice said sternly as she looked to her right, where she felt the most magic coming from. "Go home, Ellie," she ordered as she sprinted off down the street.

"You're not the boss of me! I can go if I want to!" Ellie yelled as she turned into her ghost form in a split second as she followed after the water user.

Danny ran down the street as he let out a huff of breath that he didn't know he was holding in. He saw Sam at the other end of the street, waiting against the street sign lazily as she was on her phone. "Sam!" He yelled with a grin on his face as he waved over to her.

Sam lifted her eyes from her screen as smiled broadly at him, "Danny!" She yelled as she stood up straighter and dusted herself off slightly. "What took you so long?" She asked in a teasing tone with a sly grin on her face.

"Sorry, I don't really…Like using teleportation if I can help it," Danny said as he shrugged it off as he shook his head slightly, "You look great!" He complimented as he placed his hands palm up to further prove his point.

"You do too," she said as her cheeks started to turn red. "Um…So…Want to catch a movie or something?" She asked shyly as Danny's face started to turn red as well.

He fidgeted with his hands nervously as he smiled sheepishly, "I'm down with-"

Danny was interrupted by his phone going off as he took it out quickly as he glanced down at the screen. He sighed as he opened it up, "Dick?" He asked in surprise. "He wants us to go to the Cave?" He asked as he narrowed his eyes, "Now?" He asked as his tone grew more desperate. "Fine, I'll be there in a few," he concluded as he hung up with slightly glowing green eyes before they vanished. "Sorry," he said with a sigh as he shoved his phone back in his pocket.

"Don't be. Super hero business has always got in the way before, right?" Sam asked sarcastically in complete understanding as she smiled gently.

Suddenly there was a slight shake of the ground that caused Sam to lose her balance as she fell backwards; right into Danny's waiting arms. She gasped as her face grew red. "Uh…Thanks," she said as she darted her eyes up to him.

"I should let go now, huh?" Danny asked sheepishly, not wanting to let her go from his arms.

"Maybe…A few more seconds," Sam stated as she grinned, pulling him closer to her as their faces grew closer. Danny noticed the cue as he lowered his face closer to hers…

"Danny!" Ellie yelled as she flew into them with a wide grin on her face. Danny and Sam fell to the ground in a heap. Sam huffed as she felt her body grow sore before quickly healing itself with her plant magic. "I found you!" She yelled as she did a little giggle.

Danny groaned as he rubbed the back of his neck, which he had banged on the ground when she had run into them. "Yeah…You did…" He trailed as he looked up and noticed Alice looking down the street. "I guess that wasn't a normal Earthquake?" Danny asked rhetorically with a slight glare.

"Is it ever that easy?" Alice asked with a smirk as she turned into Hydrowave in a quick snap of her fingers, causing the clothes she was wearing then to fall off like rain drops, only to be replaced with her hero outfit. She pulled out her communicator, "I think we have something in Gotham, near Martin Ave…" She trailed as she shifted her glance to the warehouse that was near the lake. "Seems to be coming from Warehouse 12."

"Understood. We are five minutes away from the nearest tube," Aqualad responded back.

Alice nodded to herself as she placed the communicator back in her pocket, "I'm going before anyone gets hurt," she said as another wave hit Gotham. She quickly started to sprint down the street as she took out a water sword from thin air.

Danny stood up and quickly transformed into Phantom, "I'm going too," he said as he looked behind at Sam and Ellie with a stern look, "Stay here," he ordered as he followed after her.

The two girls who were left behind gave each other a smirk before following after them, after all, they had super powers, and they could at least help them out if they needed it.

"I was looking forward to a reunion with the great Flash…" A man in a blue cloak over his head said as Alice walked into the warehouse, a water sword positioned beside her. "And instead I get a mere child?" He asked as he chuckled under his breath.

Alice smirked, "If you were looking for Flash…You might want to check Star City instead of Gotham," she said as she began to walk closer to the man. She noticed he had a staff by his side that had a strange question mark on it that flashed different colors every millisecond.

Danny entered the room as well as he hovered a few feet in the air, his fists clenched with ecto-energy coming off of them. "Whoa, you're new…" He stated as he looked at the staff with a raised eyebrow, "Are you a Riddler Copy Cat?"

"Phantom and Hydrowave…" The man said as he smiled, his lower half of his face being the only thing that the two of them could see. "You have some powerful people after you, last I have heard," he stated ominously as he lifted his staff into the air.

Alice narrowed her eyes as she charged at the man, "Oh no you don't!" She yelled as she slashed him across the chest, only for his image to become distorted as it fizzled out. "Shit, an illusion!" She yelled as she felt movement behind her and lifted her sword up to block it. In a second the sword collided with the staff, as the man had moved behind her to attack.

"Hm, interestingly enough you have speed," he commented as he disappeared again as Danny unleashed an ecto-blast at him.

"Where did he-?" Danny asked as he looked around but got knocked in the face with the staff and was sent flying across the warehouse, slamming into a wall. He groaned as he quickly got off of it, holding a hand to his head. It was throbbing and he was starting to develop a headache. 'That guy hits hard!' Danny thought as he rubbed his head. His eyes went wide as the man appeared next to him again in an instant and was ready to swipe him once more. Danny, not thinking but knowing that he had to dodge, used teleportation to gain distance across the room. Green smoke was visible on the ground where he reappeared as the man hit the spot where Danny had been in a second before.

Alice narrowed her eyes, "Alright, no more games," she said as he eyes lit up a dark blue as her sword that she was holding split into two and started to grow in size. In a second there were twin water serpents that hissed menacingly at the man, their red eyes gazing straight to where his cloak was covering his own. They charged at the man and he had no emotion on the lower half of his face as he watched the attack happen.

"Danny!" Sam yelled as she and Ellie had entered the warehouse.

"Sam?" Danny asked in confusion, "I told you to-!" He started to yell out but was interrupted when the man decided to yell out suddenly.

"Switch!" He yelled as he rose his staff in the air, causing Sam and Ellie to appear right where the water serpents were attacking.

Alice, who was momentarily stunned by this sudden shift took a second to respond. She rose her hand quickly in the air and flexed her fingers, making the dangerous water serpents deform into harmless water as it splashed onto Sam and Ellie. She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in as she looked over at the man, who looked patiently content standing there in the initial position that Alice had found him. "Alright, we need back up."

Robin cackled as he appeared through the window, "Heard you needed some help?" He asked in a cheerful voice with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Right on time," Danny mused out as he had just then recovered from using his teleportation. Since he didn't use the power as often as his others, it was untamed, and drained more energy than it should out of him. He stood up to his full height as he powered up his ecto-blasts in his hands again. "This guy isn't like any of the guys I've fought before."

"Young Phantom, you aren't too far off," the man said as he smirked. "My name is Switch, and I'm here for only one purpose…" He trailed as he raised his staff once more.

Robin glanced behind him and noticed that Sam and Ellie were staring at the scene with wide eyes. He growled through his teeth as he ran over to them, his cape outstretched with an arm, as he was using it as a shield. "Protect the girls!" He yelled and Danny and Alice nodded as they heard his voice over the whirring attack that was being casted.

Danny put up an ecto-shield while Alice put up a water barrier. Robin was pulling off his technique as well as a blinding white light flashed over them. "Such adults you're being…Let's see how you handle being kids!" Switch yelled as the attack had finally reached the group.

Danny groaned as he felt the sidewalk under him, he felt drained and weak as he lifted his head slowly off the ground. "What…" He spoke in a hazy confusion as his voice sounded softer. He blinked his eyes in even more confusion as he stood up quickly. He was expecting to be five feet tall, but instead was smaller; much smaller. "Ah…Crap!" He yelled with realization as his hands went up to his face. He noticed that he had little kid's hands and that his skin was scary smooth.

"Danny?" Robin asked as he came walking down the street. He was wearing a blue shirt and black pants. His sunglasses were over his eyes, protecting his identity. He appeared to be six years old. "Are you…?" He asked as Danny nodded. "Asterous. Where's Alice?" He asked as there was screechy laughter to their left.

Alice, who had a dark blue ruffled dress, matched with black dress shoes had a black trident in her hands with a smirk on her face. "You kiddies here for some fun?" She asked as she twirled the trident, which seemed to be much too big for her eight year old hands. She then stopped suddenly, "Hold up…You two look familiar?" She asked as she cocked her head. She then snapped her finger, not leaving them any time for an explanation, "You must be my groupies! We have to be on a mission that my father sent me on!"

"Alice?" Danny asked cautiously, "Do you remember a man named Switch?"

"I hate that man! I so fucking hate him!" Alice yelled as she ignored what Danny had said; a black murky water appeared around her, like a coiling snake traveling around her legs. The curse mark on her arm started to show at her raging emotions as her eyes turned red. "I'll kill you all!" She yelled as she thrusted her trident in Danny's direction.

His eyes grew wide as he put up an ecto-shield that he expected to be big, only to be half the size that it would usually be. It barely blocked her attack as it only withheld a few seconds before it fizzled out of existence, making Danny be launched backwards into Robin. They landed on the ground in a heap as Alice stood over them threateningly with her trident poised and ready to be used. However, her eyes softened as they turned back to their original blue hue, "Sorry…Sorry!" She yelled as she ran down the street.

Robin sighed, "It seems like this spell, or whatever it is, affected Alice the most because she was the oldest that got hit with it," he said as Danny got off of him.

"You're saying that I'll be next to lose myself?" Danny asked in a concerned voice, not liking the idea of acting like his seven year old self.

Robin nodded in confirmation, "I'm going to go find a nearby zeta tube and alert the Team. We'll get this all sorted out," he said with a small smile. "Stay close to me," Robin stated as he ran over to a nearby fire escape and began to climb up it.

Danny nodded, as he didn't have time to respond as he followed after him. However, as soon as he reached the top of the fire escape, Robin was out of sight. "Yeah, right, like I'm supposed to keep up with a crazed acrobat!" Danny spat out as he sighed.

Robin glanced behind him and noticed that Danny wasn't following him. "Oops..." He trailed sheepishly as he looked forward again and noticed Miss Martian flying over to him.

"Robin!" She greeted with a grin. "We were worried, we found the man you guys were fighting…He was completely out of energy from the battle," she stated but she then took in the shape of the boy, "What…Happened?" She asked in confusion.

"I kind of got hit…But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Alice has officially gone off the deep end, and Danny will probably do the same in a few minutes," Robin explained. "We need to find Alice and somehow convince her that she's on our side and find a cure."

Miss Martian nodded, 'Aqualad, we need you to find Alice. She's going to be a little confused, but I'm sure you'll get through to her. Super Boy, Artemis? You're going to find Danny. Kid Flash, you're with me, we're going to find an antidote,' she thought in complete confidence.

Robin grinned, "Couldn't have said it better myself," he commented as they started running to the nearest tube to get back to the Cave so they could fix this mess.

Danny looked at his seven year old hands as he walked down the street. He had somehow gotten separated from Richard, and was trying to find his way back to a zeta tube. Being in Gotham, while at the age of five, with very unreliable ghost powers was…A bad thing. A very bad thing. He sighed as he placed his hands down by his sides, his short blue shorts along with his white shirt hung loosely by his sides.

"That stupid Switch guy…" Danny trailed on in frustration. He then swiped a hand through his hair that hung in his face. He hadn't noticed bumping into someone until he was knocked backwards.

"Are you alright, child?" Asked the voice kindly.

Danny looked up, disoriented, "I…Think so," he said and then immediately froze. Vlad Masters was looking down at him with a raised eyebrow from Danny's actions.

"What's the matter, boy? It looks as if you've seen a ghost," Vlad said as a smile started to form on his face. Danny started to shake a little from fear, but tried to cover it up by crossing his arm across his chest. "Are you lost?" Vlad asked with a slight tilt of his head.

"Y-Yeah," Danny said, he then took a step back. 'I have to get away from him,' he thought adamantly. "I can find my way back home though," he said as he pivoted on his left foot, turning his body a complete 180. He was about to run as fast as he could away from the man, but felt a strong grip on his shoulder.

"I wouldn't be a very good citizen if I let you do that…After all, it's dangerous around these parts," Vlad reasoned as he patted his shoulder.

Danny nodded slowly, although the shaking had come back, making Vlad chuckle, "Are you scared, son?"

"M-My brother should be around here…I-I should go find him…" Danny stuttered as he tried to break free from the grip by squirming his body. Vlad chuckled again as he let his hand off of the young boy's.

"Is he, now? I should let you get back to him…" Vlad trailed and Danny ran for his life as he didn't even glance back at the man. He hadn't gotten very far, though, as an ecto blast landed on the young halfa's back, making him fall to the ground, stomach first. "Did you really think you could fool me, Daniel?" The menacing voice of Vlad came from behind him.

Danny rolled himself over, propping himself on his elbows, glancing up at the man, "Actually…Yeah," Danny said with a glare. Vlad made sure to take each calculative step slowly towards the boy on the ground.

"Your appearance is strikingly similar…Not to mention your ecto signature…" Vlad sneered as he reached down to grab the boy's small arm.

"Let go of me!" Danny yelled as he lifted his free hand at the man and concentrated all of his energy into making an ecto blast. A small sizzle came out of his hand and dropped to the ground; harmless.

Vlad let out a chuckle as he glanced at the confused face of the boy, who was now examining his hand, as if it were a foreign object. "Can't control your powers? Not only did you walk directly into my hands…But you're powerless as well?" Vlad asked rhetorically as he lifted the boy into the air by his arm, letting him dangle. Vlad took this moment to transform into Vlad Plasmius as two black rings appeared at his waist. "It's almost as if fate wants you to be mine," he mused as he looked into the boy's fearful blue eyes, which seemed to widen.

The realization hit him as he struggled to get away from the man who was dangling him like a battle trophy. Danny lashed out his feet, but the man was too far away to kick. After seeing that was useless, he tried to get his arm free by trying to lift the man's strong fingers away from his arm. "I'm not going to let you take me, Plasmius!"

"Danny!" Came Richard's voice from behind Danny.

"Danny, MM found the cure!" Wally yelled from behind him as well. The boy looked behind him and almost sighed in relief, but the sudden rescue was cut off from a raised gloved hand from Vlad who was pointing it at his brother.

"Plasmius! Stop!" Danny yelled in fear as he tried even harder to get free from the man.

Plasmius only cackled menacingly as he fired a pink ecto blast, a small smoke screen surrounding the area. The older halfa then started to back away, teleporting away from Richard and Wally, and appeared in a small back alley in Gotham, with his captive in tow. "I didn't want to waste too much energy those brats…Not when I already have you to look out for," Vlad said as he let Danny loose, so he could readjust his grip on the boy's wrist.

Danny looked disoriented from the sudden teleportation and he blinked a few times that he hadn't heard what Vlad had said. He looked around and his body slumped in a small defeat. 'I need a new plan…' Danny thought grimly as he looked down at the ground, refusing to make eye contact with the man. 'I could try my ice powers…'

Plasmius grinned as he transformed back into Masters, making Danny feel a small burst of heat covering his body from the sudden transformation. "You're welcome to try, little badger," he said as he let Danny onto the ground, making the boy stand beside him, although the man was still holding his wrist, tightly.

Danny growled as his eyes shifted into neon green ones for a split second before returning back to normal. His vision started to blur as he took his free hand and started to rub them, trying to get his vision to clear. He blinked a few times, and eventually his vision adjusted. 'Okay…Don't do that again,' Danny reminded himself as he shook his head slightly.

"Good, Daniel. Don't take any chances when you don't know the limit of your powers," Vlad said condescendingly as he glanced down at the boy.

"Stop reading my mind," Danny ordered as he let out a small growl.

"Perhaps you should stop trying to escape and just accept that you belong to me now," Vlad suggested as he let out a small shrug. "Either way, you don't have a choice."

Danny remained quiet and then found his vision to start becoming translucent, as tears started to pool in his eyes. He let them drop freely from his eyes and then start to sniff from his nose stiffly. Vlad glanced down and raised his eye brows in surprise. "Are…You crying?"

"N-No…" Danny said as he rubbed his eyes with his free hand. "I'm not a kid…" Danny trailed as his eyes went wide, he was reverting back to his seven year old self, and this is what he had dreaded. It was worse knowing that Vlad was around to witness it.

"Daniel, you're crying," Vlad stated incredulously. "Best to not make a scene in public," Vlad said as he started to walk towards the bustling streets of Gotham city. Danny was forced to walk slightly behind him, as he started to shake from his crying. "I suppose we'll make a quick stop at my apartment before heading to a secure location…"

"I don't want to go with you!" Danny whined as he tried pulling back, although his strength wasn't a match for a mature halfa's. "I want Bruce!"

Vlad stopped walking, making Danny almost ram into him. The man then suddenly turned and looked Danny straight into the eyes, making the boy cringe as he tried to take a step back, only to find that his area was limited by how far Vlad had let him go. "Daniel, you're never going back to Bruce Wayne. You're not going to see your sister, or your brother, or that pathetic English butler. You're going to be coming with me where I can train and keep a watchful eye on you."

Danny took this in and then looked to the ground, the tears cascading down his cheeks. "B-But…I don't want to…"

Vlad then let out a sinister smirk, making Danny flinch as the man's face got directly into his, "I'm sure after a few years you'll be thinking a much different way," he said as he suddenly turned around, yanking the boy behind him as he started to walk again.

"Stop! That hurts!" Danny yelled as he started to dig the heels of his shoes against the pavement to try and stop Vlad from taking him. This act of defiance wasn't even noticed by Vlad as he started to chuckle.

"With all this whining, one would think you're a seven year old…Wait…That's exactly what you are now," Vlad said as he glanced behind him at the boy who furrowed his eyebrows in disappointment.

"Why are…You so mean?" Danny asked with a frown as he looked up at the older man who was dragging him like he was extra baggage.

Vlad narrowed his eyes, but never stopped walking, "It's necessary to get what I want…" He then looked behind him, "Don't you fret, little badger, you'll turn out exactly like me," he said with a twisted smirk.

Danny's eyes grew wide with fear as his fire of defiance reignited in his heart, "No!" He yelled as he pulled even harder, his body started to grow cold as an ice blast escaped from his hand that was clutched by Vlad. The ice had made Vlad's hand be frozen to Danny's wrist, making it impossible to penetrate without a ghost's power. "No…" Danny mumbled as he felt weak in the knees as he collapsed on the ground. Vlad bent down beside him with a smirk still on his face.

"No matter how hard you try, there's no escaping me, Daniel," he said slowly, letting the words set in to the boy's mind. He then stood up, watching the boy with an intriguing look. "Stand up," Vlad ordered and Danny's body started to shake. "Stop crying, people will think I'm a bad father," Vlad said as he melted the ice with a pink ecto-blast, making the boy suddenly look up at him.

"I…Hate you," Danny said as he narrowed his teary eyes at the man.

"'Cos I'm at the top of the world now-!" Came a cheery voice, "I'm on top of the world-!"

Danny looked at where the voice was coming from and he smiled. "Alice!"

Alice stopped singing, she was still eight years old, and still had on her dark blue ruffled dress, with her black dress shoes. She glanced over at the pair and let out a devious smile. "Oh? What do we have here?" She asked as she skipped over to where the two were and she leaned forward, her arms behind her back. "A pedophile taking my groupie…That won't do," She said as she shook her head.

"You have no place here, brat. Move along before you get hurt…" Vlad said in a menacing tone.

Alice tilted her head to the side, "Hmm," she said as she summoned a black trident in her hand, the same one that her father uses and twirled it in between her fingers before positioning the weapon in an offensive position. "How about you get your filthy hands off my groupie…Or you'll get hurt," she said as she narrowed her eyes at man. She had a sickly innocent smile on her face, mocking the man in front of her.

"So be it," Vlad said as he let go of the boy only for a moment, but that was all the time that Alice had needed as her eyes quickly lit up a light blue, and a water serpent swept Danny off the street and onto its back. The summoned water spirit then brought itself behind its master, who smirked.

"Eyes on the prize," Alice retorted as she made her index finger wave back and forth in a 'lecturing' manner. Danny started to giggle like a child.

Vlad erupted in rage as he sent red lasers out of his eyes towards the girl, who only danced around the attacks as if she were in a grand dance recital. She then did a little bow at the end and then slowly rose her body to its full height. "You need more practice," she said with a toothy smile. She then flipped her hair behind her back in a snobby way.

"I have had twenty years of practice, I no longer require it," Vlad seethed as he glared at the girl.

"Huh?" Alice asked as she cocked her head to the side in mock confusion. "Could have fooled me," she said with a sinister smirk on her face as she watched the reaction on the older man's face and was loving every minute of it.

"You little wretch!" He yelled as he charged at the girl, a pink ecto blast being charged in his hand.

"Gross, you sound like my father," Alice said as she stuck her tongue out. She then raised her hand to the sky, and the water serpent, who had Danny, along with herself, were slowly sinking into the ground, vanishing into the water molecules on the ground. "Never the less, thank you for the uninspiring fight, gramps."

When Vlad had reached to where they were, their forms were already gone. He was shaking his fists in anger, "I was close to what I wanted…But close just doesn't cut it," he said to himself as he let out a small amount of electrical energy in the area, causing multiple cars to get toppled over and the various other electrical appliances to go haywire. He then sighed and readjusted his suit, "Another time, Daniel…"

"Where are we?" Danny asked as they resurfaced into the Cave.

Alice shrugged, "I don't know…They said that I would be doing the right thing by – Ow!" She yelled as she suddenly got prodded by something sharp in her shoulder. "You dare touch the demi-god-!" She began to yell, but was soon reverted back to her old self.

Danny also was injected with the cure as he also changed back to his original form. He smiled as he looked at his friends, and two guilty looking Sam and Ellie. He was surprised that they had let Sam into their hideout, but didn't mention anything. "You two have anything to say for yourselves?" Danny asked as he crossed his arms.

"When you say to stay…" Ellie mumbled, "Stay?" She asked in a hopeful tone, trying to guess the right answer.

Danny nodded his head, "Well then, now that Switch is in jail and I have the rest of the day to myself," he said as he walked over to Sam. "How about that movie?"

Wally grinned as he walked over to Danny and slung his arm over his shoulder, "What about that take home test?" He asked in a teasing voice.

"That frootloop ruins everything!" Danny yelled as he fisted his hands. Though, he couldn't hold back the fear that he was experiencing from the day's events. Vlad was too close to kidnapping him.

"We'll hang out sometime soon, Danny," Sam said with a soft smile as she put her hand on his shoulder, somehow knowing the emotions he was feeling.

Danny sighed, "But this is your last day in Gotham!" He yelled out with a glare.

Sam smirked, "You've waited this long to see me, you can wait another few months," she teased as she placed her hand around the back of his head. "Because we have a connection, Danny," she stated as she brought her head closer to his. She put her lips on top of his and he pushed his head against hers, bringing them deeper into the kiss. "And I'll wait," she whispered into his ear.

"Me too," he said with a soft smile.

"Okay, okay! Can we go home now?" Ellie asked, feeling uncomfortable under this situation.

Artemis chuckled, "Kids…" She trailed as she walked out of the room.

Aqualad approached Alice with a concerned look, "Alice, shall we go train together?" He asked, though there was an underlying message to the simple question.

"Sure gills," she said lazily as she crossed her arms and walked out of the room together.

"We should get going, Batman will get worried," Robin stated with a grin. Danny nodded as Sam let go of him.

"This was my last day off, too," Danny moaned as he slumped his shoulders and trudged towards the zeta tube.

Reviews:

Jebest4781: Aw, yeah. I kind of forgot about Sphere. Oopsie. Maybe I can find a place for him in the next chapter.

Brenne: Haha, a snow shovel! Nah, I didn't quit, I've just been kind of sorta late with updating.

KodiakWolfe13: Vlad is such such a creep. But he makes the story interesting. And I'm glad that you liked the name change. Showdowns are such an awful thing to write.

jim89: The plot starts to thickin a little. There's going to be a mighty big showdown in the next couple of chapters.

Guest of honor: And about two months later here it is! ;)

A/N: In which little Alice has bipolar disorder. And Vlad is a major creeper again who keeps on trying to kidnap Danny.
