Chapter 1

Annabeth's POV
We had been wandering through the hellish maze that was the Labyrinth
for what seemed like days, with no idea where we were going, if anywhere.

We would come across what looked like a room we had just been in but the
doors had moved and where they lead changed. It was almost as if the whole
thing was living, breathing, changing around them.

However I knew we were making progress because the farther we went, the
older the labyrinth seemed to get, so we were making our way closer to the
center, or at least that's how I saw it. But the worst part of it all, was the voices.

All around constantly whispering, were the voices of those who died in the Labyrinth
and even their souls couldn't find their way out. Also, the voices of the ones who Thalia
overheard talking about echoed through the maze, and they followed the voices,
into the labyrinth, slowly catching up until...

Percy's POV

Suddenly after wandering through the confines of the labyrinth for who knows
how long, we burst into a large room and I looked around.

The walls seemed to be made of pillars that went back forever and the ceiling
was a dome that seemed to stretch all the way to Olympus.

But the real eye catcher was the monsters. Snake women, hell-hounds, and
telekhines fill the vast room from wall to wall and in the center was a podium that
rose above the crowd. And on that podium was a golden coffin, no the word coffin
didn't do it justice. A golden sarcophagus and whatever was in that sarcophagus
was the most evil thing I had ever felt.

I tried to say something to annabeth, but the words were sucked out of my mouth
by the pure evil of whatever was in that sarcophagus. I saw Annabeth and Thalia both
have the same experience, and then Annabeth disappeared.

Annabeth's POV

I tried to speak to Percy and Thalia but I couldn't. The evil sarcophagus seemed
to have taken that away from me. I put on my cap of invisibility and ran up the path
towards the sarcophagus. I saw two demigods carrying a pillow with the helm of
darkness towards the sarcophagus. The helm was evil, but it paled in comparison
to the evil of what was in the center of the room.

I recognized the demigods as Luke Castellan and Ethan Nakamura, and I got
close enough to grab the Helm, I grabbed it and started running in the opposite
direction as fast as I could, taking off my cap so that Percy and Thalia could see
me I yelled "RUN!" and then the monsters started to block my path I was surrounded.

Percy's POV

I saw the monsters swarm around Annabeth and I got a strange feeling deep inside.
it was anger, determination, and love. As my vision clouded with this, I released a shout,
of pure emotion and I got the feeling of a tug in my gut. The room exploded.

Hey, people. I'm back! And here is another chapter. I hopefully will be releasing a
chapter for my other two stories as well, so you should check those out. Anyway
