AN: Wow that took a while to get written. Sorry, I got distracted by things IRL and am still slaving away to the homework gods of Math. OTL

Also thanks for the reviews and advice! I tried implementing them in here so if I mess up, please excuse my noobish way of writing. Q w Q

Without further ado, let the madness continue!

Samus's angry footsteps were heard down the hallway. Kuro watched the distance grow further between him and Samus. He opened his mouth to say a smart comment, but decided against it. The woman is extremely pissed and he feared for the safety of his black feathers. So he did what any normal teen would do, cause mischief elsewhere. He let the distance between him and Samus grow further and further until he couldn't be seen anymore.

Samus took a sharp turn and slammed open the door towards the computer lab. Her fierce eyes immediately tracked down her target and locked on to them. Her heels clanked loudly in the quiet lab, alerting her prey of the danger coming its way.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!?" She growled and knocked over a computer.

"Oh, hello, Samus." the brunette man greeted.

"Don't fucking 'hello' me you son of a bitch!" Samus growled, "Where were you!?"

"Oh, is that why you're so mad I see," the man said calmly, "I had business to take care of."

Samus pulled out her gun, she was not in the mood. The man glimpsed at the gun and let out a deep sigh. He pulled out a USB drive from the computer and showed it to Samus, "I didn't miss the meeting just to slack around. I did get interesting info about the other organizations, such as arsenal, dates, plans and etectera."

Samus eyed him warily and put the gun up. Then man motioned her to look at the computer screen. When she did, she sighed and looked at him, "You're on the clear for now. Where do you even get this information from?"

The man grinned, "That kind of information comes with a price... And that price is your hand in marriage."

Samus looked disgusted, "You disgusting snake, just do your shit and be happy I'm letting you live," she grabbed the USB drive and started walking out the doors, "I'm taking this and finish your goddamn reports!"

The man smiled as the strong willed woman left the room, "One day you will be my wife!" She responded with a hand gesture that made him chuckle a bit. He then turned back to his computer screen and began typing in codes faster than the human eye can see.

Kuro looked quite pleased with himself. He took long strides while flaunting off his wings. Time to himself didn't happen too often so he's enjoying this moment of peace while he can. A sudden movement caught his eye and he barely managed to see the pink ribbon on one of the dogs. Curious of where it was going, Kuro followed after it, hiding his wings in doing so.

...

Toony woke up to the sounds of wood hitting wood. He sleepily sat up and pushed the comfy blanket aside and rubbed his eyes tiredly. A long yawn escaped his lips and he looked around the strange, but comfy bedroom he was in. He looked around the cozy cottage for a minute before stepping down from the bed.

He noticed he was wearing striped socks and striped, blue pajamas as well. Toony already threw out the idea that this was reality. He just merely shrugged and proceeded to open the door. As soon as he hit the door, a sweet, doughy scent slapped him right in the face. A girl's voice called out to him, "Oh, you finally awake? I just made pancakes for everyone," Toony looked up at the blue haired girl as she smiled kindly at him, "Now can you tell Ike that breakfast is ready? He's outside training."

"O-okay, Lucina." Toony nodded without realizing he called the girl by her name. He opened the front door and felt the cool, morning breeze brush against his skin. For someone reason, everything seemed too familiar and natural to have visited this dream once. Maybe he had a dream like this before? He just shrugged at the idea. He never really dreamed in the first place.

He took a step outside and spotted Ike with a wooden sword, striking a tree towering over him. Toony walked down the crystal, green path towards Ike and marveled the clear, blue sky. He took a deep breath of the clean, outside air and let it out. If only reality was like this...

As Toony began to get closer to Ike, he realized how much the other boy had grown. He was tall before, but now even taller and muscles have already claimed his arms. It didn't really surprise Toony much since he knew Ike would want to become even more stronger than he is. Toony opened his mouth, "Ike, food is ready."

The brawny boy stopped and looked down at Toony. He smiled, "Thanks for letting me know, little guy." His giant hand ruffled Toony's hair and he began to set off for inside the house. Toony smiled after him and let out a relaxed sigh. Only if this dream was reality... No, it can be a reality when they finally escape the facility.

Toony looked up the clear sky once more before gazing at the small, brown cottage in the middle of an empty canvas. The soft, pastel green already began dripping, but he could see Ike and Lucina inside, laughing and smiling as any sibling should.

"Lovely isn't?"

Toony jumped at the strange voice. On top of the house was a blue haired boy with a cyan muffler around his neck. Toony looked suspiciously at the boy, "Excuse me, may I ask who you are," he added more cynical, "But what's the use if I won't remember this dream when I wake up."

The strange boy frowned at the remark and turned the other way, "You're dreaming of a world where you don't exist..."

Toony looked up, his cat-like eyes stared at the boy challenging, "So what of it? It's only a dream."

"A dream is where your wishes comes true... Do you not wish to live anymore?"

"..." Toony watched himself enter the house and sitting down with Ike and Lucina. Only that he looked exactly like Shulk.

The boy sat down next to Toony and watched the scene, "You have a good heart, Toony. You wish for the goodwill of your friends, but what about yourself? Won't your friends be sad if you're gone?"

"... " Toony looked towards the ground, "It's not that I don't want to live. I know I'm going to die, "the blue haired boy narrowed his eyes, "And this scene... Everyone's so much older. They have already forgotten about me, but I'm just happy to see them alive and doing fine without me. If me being forgotten makes them smile, then I'm okay with it," Toony looked up at the sky with a bittersweet smile, "Because I was already born to become nothing."

The boy closed his eyes, "You understand so much at your own age that it's scary yet you put up a happy front even though you're being eaten alive by the misery in your heart... You're too strong for your age."

"No, I've just accepted the facts that I'm going to die. I'm still a coward, I'm too weak to change my own fate." Toony stated. He watched Lucina smile and laugh, "Besides, I don't want to hurt anybody in the end. That's why I try my hardest to make myself look content with life and laugh and smile for her sake..."

The boy looked at him then to Lucina then back to him. "Thank you..." He stood up on his feet, "Thank you for watching out for my lil Lucy."

Toony looked up at the boy. White feathers started to glide down as if it were snowing for the first time. The blue haired boy spoke again, "You are strong and brave, Toony. Your life is not meaningless, despite how short it is. It's because of you you're friends are safe and happy and that they are able to continue to live. It's with your self-sacrifice that you are saved from the damned and are able to sleep in luxury in heaven. However, it is not your only choice. You can also challenge fate and live happily among your friends and still bring the same change to the world..." The boy's misty gaze peered into the young blonde's tears, "No matter if you are a coward or a hero, you are not born to be nothing. Everyone is born with a purpose, but it's up to you to find that purpose... But my selfishness would prefer to see you smile in which ever path you chosen."

Toony sniffled and wiped the tears down on his face. His insides felt all tangled and jumbled and his body was just left in painful confusion. Was he having a breakdown? He didn't know. He watched as the boy's wings form from the falling feathers. Toony cried, "I'll try my best to remember this dream."

The winged boy paused before turning back and flashing a gentle smile, "Farewell, Toony. This may or may not be the last time we meet. You are much stronger than what you say you are..." Toony watched the boy take off and disappear into the falling feathers.

Toony watched the dissolving portrait disappear into black ink. He gave a bitter smile and fell down on his back. With sullen eyes, he watched the waning blue sky escape from his reach. White feathers still fell down as if heaven was crying. Toony closed his eyes and couldn't smell the damp breeze anymore. His eyes brows pinched together as if he were having a troubled thought, but his jaw and face were relaxed.

What did he see behind his closed eyes?

...

Kuro watched the dog sniff around and grunt grotesquely, making Kuro wonder if this was even a human in the first place? The dog growled and scratched at the door. An evil smile crept up on Kuro's face. He opened the door and watched from afar of the story that was about to unfold.

...

Ike woke up to a loud roar and heard something shoving its way through the mess. Before he could wake any of the children up, a green creature with a shell on its back appeared, biting down on his arm. Ike howled in pain and punched the monster's face, but it wouldn't let go.

The three children woke up, horrified of the monster. They froze, unable to do anything because of the fear. Ike gritted his teeth and managed to push them out of the way, but the creature took this opportunity to pin him and down and bit down on his arm.

Ike yowled in pain and kicked the creature in its stomach, making it recoil a bit. He saw his chance to kick it off him and did so. He managed to push the children away before the creature pounced on him again, snapping it jaws near his throat.

Ike grunted and tried his best to push back the creature, but the difference in strength was obviously clear. Lucina started crying and reached out for Ike in wanting to help him, but Shulk held her back. Toony could only watch in shock.

When the situation seemed hopeless, there was a loud, inhuman scream that exploded into the cluttered room and quickly died off. Shulk glared with her dead eyes.

Ike was covered in green blood. He was trapped under the corpse of the beast, but he paid no attention to it. A look of relief and shock flooded his face as his gaze focused on the black haired boy who killed the creature with a broken piece of glass. The boy's twisted grin sent shivers down Ike's spine. This boy should not be trusted.

"Good thing you're still alive," he held his grin, "For a second, I thought the ugly thing killed you."

Ike's shocked expression turned into anger, "Are you the one who sent this thing here!?"

The boy waved his arms as if he were wiping the false charges away, "No- no- no! It was just chance that brought us here together. I don't want to hurt you guys..."

Ike narrowed his eyes. He tried to get up, but the creature's corpse was way too heavy for him.

"Here, let me help," the boy pushed the creature off him, "Better?"

Ike stood up and eyed the boy suspiciously. "Why are you here and who are you?"

The boy put on an innocent face, "I'm a child experiment like you. I'm hoping we could escape together."

Ike's look of suspicion turned into a fierce glare, "Liar! Who are you and what do you want from us!?"

"What do you mean?" The boy looked hurt.

"First of all, a test experiment wouldn't be wearing clothes like that." Ike pointed out the boy's dark clothing.

They boy grinned madly, "I guess I can't fool wearing these clothes," he looked Ike straight into the eyes, "I'm Kuro, co-leader of the Miracle Child Facility and the pet of the crazy, old hag. I know everything about the experiments and the people who work and are tested on, I also I know what you dear, Ike, Lucina, Shulk and Toony have been doing and I gotta say, I'm fairly impressed. You have been naughty children. Tsk, tsk."

Toony eye's widened in fear, understanding the whole situation they're in while Lucina looked watched on confused and Shulk simply saying nothing. Ike didn't back down however, and he kept his same fierce glare right on Kuro who was smiling smugly at him. "Did I make the poor baby, angwy? I have authority to kill you right on the spot, but I choose not to."

"What do you want from us?" Ike growled.

"Oh, yes... Something simple. Come with me if you want to live."

"Do you think I'm going to fall for any of that crap!?" Ike growled fiercely.

"My, worked up, eh? Listen, I know you don't trust me at all. Like zip, nada, but hear me out. Your little group seems interesting enough that I may be willing to spare for the future. Depends on my mood at that time, but I know for sure I won't harm you on purpose in the present. Fair enough? I'm also a very honest person and I will tell the truth. So whadda you say?"

Lucina looked up at Ike, "Kuro ah friend?"

Kuro smiled at Lucina and looked at Ike with his black eyes. "Well?"

Ike questioned him further, "If you're so honest, what is your real motive behind all of this?"

Kuro's grin widened into an insane man's smile, "Simple, I just want to cause a little bit of entropy."

Oh, what's Kuro planning? Can they truly trust him? And what about Toony? Is there still hope for him?

Okay, I'm done with questions there. I hope you liked it and as for their ages, I guess I can answer their current ages here.
