AN: Oi, hi everyone! I'm currently holding a contest which should be a fun interesting game that you should totally check out~
Anyways, I've written a bit more on this. Hope you enjoy!
Kuro smirked and crossed his arms, "So, this is the 'Marth' fellow everyone was making a fuss over huh? Just looks like another failed experiment to me."
Marth glared at him, his back facing Ike. "You're not even an Angel are you? What are you doing here?"
Kuro grinned, "Just trying to take back Ike, that's all."
"I won't allow that. He's going to return with me." Marth growled.
"Oh?" Kuro smirked, "Did I make someone a bit jealous?"
"Go away now!" Marth's wings flashed threateningly.
Kuro looked amused, "All I'm doing is trying to get Ike out of here. You know, protect him from you? You're tainting that idiot and the two of you dumb love birds are going to end up killing each other. Well, I don't mind you dying, I just need that idiot alive. That's all."
Before Marth could do anything, Ike stepped in. "Now, hold on." he started, "What do you mean that I'm we're going to kill each other?"
"Don't..." Marth bit back his words.
Kuro gave a creepy smile, "Oh you don't know, Tatertot? Your friend is keeping secrets from you."
"Shut up..." Marth spat softy, his whole body trembling.
Kuro snorted, "Wow, what a loyal friend he is? Keeping secrets and doing this and that while hiding the true side effects and motives behind it. What kind of friendship is that? A horrible one."
"Shut up!.." Marth was completely tensed up.
Ike gave a confused look to Marth and then back to Kuro.
"I can see it... This boy's past... "Kuro grinned, "What a sicko. Hah, I bet he didn't tell you this. One time he-!"
"SHUT UP!" Marth snapped, he glared at Kuro with animal eyes, full of rage.
Kuro sneered, "Revealing your true self now, huh? Not so sweet and gentle are we?"
"Marth!?" Ike looked surprised as Marth jumped at Kuro, slashing and missing with every blow he threw. Kuro simply laughed at him as he dodged his attacks.
"Wow! Check this out, Ike! Marth's hands are shaped like claws! They're disgusting! Even his eyes changed! They show how much of a twisted, sadist he is!"
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Marth's voice was distorted with rage.
Ike watched with a horrified expression as the two boys fought. Kuro grinned madly and hit Marth square in the jaw, sending the other flying towards the ground. Marth screeched in agony as he felt his whole body snap. That didn't paralyze him shaky arms, he tried steading himself from the crevice the impact made. Kuro gracefully landed before him, staring down at the fallen angel.
Marth's yellow eyes protruded under the messy mop of hair, empty of any emotion, but feral desires. Kuro grimaced at him then a mischievous smile played his lips. "Ugly beast you are huh? Nothing more than a despicable life form. The only reason why you're existing now is to break." Marth bared his teeth like a savage canine, "I'll help you speed up that process... Say Ike, have you seen the real Marth?"
Ike stared at Marth with wide eyes. Kuro moved out from Marth's vision and the latter immediately froze up. Kuro grinned and went to grab Ike's wrist, "Come on, let's get a closer look."
The once soft, blue eyes, filled with warmth, were now a hazy yellow, soulless and filled with despair. The once gentle face is now hardened by molten agony and crushing hatred. Underneath the mess of blue hair, the yellow eyes glowed as if it was the sun to a graveyard. Marth looked down and covered his face with his charcoal hands.
"Isn't this a sight? I bet you didn't know your friend is a twisted monster like this, capable of destroying half a country with the flick of his wrist. But now he's just a sad shell of someone who used to be great. He isn't the Marth you know from the past. This is a whole different person. A person who has the blood of a murderer." Kuro looked down at Marth as he was just a piece of trash.
Ike was speechless. Marth took this as a sign of dejection, his body trembling, sending black flakes gliding roughly to the ground. Kuro sneered, "Pathetic." He paused and frowned, "... The old hag is calling me back. Hurry up and get out of here." Kuro said to Ike before his body faded away.
To Marth, the silence was unbearable. It suffocated him, cutting off his circulation to his brain. Anymore of this silence he was going to lose his brain. The savage, cold blood chortled inside him, his feral mentality is coming back. He gripped his face tighter and tighter until he could taste blood roll down his lips. He couldn't take it anymore. He opened his mouth to let out a screech.
"Man... I'm glad Kuro is gone. He would probably do something to me if I told you how cool you looked."
Marth looked up at him with a surprised expression, anxiety and grief slowly flitted his hollow eyes.
Ike frowned, but he forced a smile anyway, "You should of told me that you were going through something rough. I would have been able to lend an ear since you were the one who saved me back then."
Tears made their way to Marth's eyes, but he refused to let them spill, "I-I'm... A Monster, just go and take care of Lucina..."
Ike place a hand of Marth's shoulder, ignoring the stinging pain it left on his hand, "When I find you, we're going to live like a family from Lucina's fantasies. She's the Mommy, I'm the grandpa and you can be-"
Marth slapped Ike's hand away, "Shut up, Ike! Can't you tell I'm in love with you!?" His body crumpled forward, his hands covering his head, "I'm disgusting... I'm a despicable life... I can only look forward to my upcoming death... Just... Please... Don't look for me... Don't look at me... Just remember who I used to be..."
Ike's eyes widened in surprised, but was quickly replaced with a sorrowful frown. He rose to his feet and looked down at Marth, determination filling his eyes, "I'm going to find you, no matter how much you hate it. We're family, remember? I want to be able to see you again face to face. Then we could play one last game just like the old days..." his face melted into a soft smile.
Marth's body lurched forward. He cried out, "I hate you, Ike! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you! Let me die in peace! Don't let me bring my hopes up anymore! I want to die, goddammit! I don't want to live like this anymore! I hate you! I hate you!" Marth looked up and realized he was all alone.
. . .
Robin growled and ran towards them. Lucina and Toony screamed and started to drag Shulk behind them. The children ran around the room until they were cornered.
"Graahh! I'm going to eat you!" Robin took slow steps towards them.
Lucina and Toony held onto Shulk, trembling with fear. They closed their eyes and waited to be eaten.
"..."
Toony bravely opened his eyes first and saw Robin rubbing the back of his head. Reflet stood behind him with a shoe in her hand. "Say you're sorry!" Reflet demanded.
Robin dropped down on his back on the floor. He looked up at them, "I'm sorry."
Toony looked confused at the display. He didn't have enough courage to question them. Shulk prodded Lucina and she opened her eyes. "Are we dead?" she asked.
"Not yet!" Robin got up to his feet. "Rawrrr!"
Lucina shrieked in fear, but stared at Robin angrily as he started to laugh.
"You should have seen your faces!" Robin laughed.
Even Reflet started to chuckle a bit, "I can't deny that it wasn't funny."
The two children frowned, not fond of being laughed at. Before they said anything, Reflet calmed down and began to talk again.
"Our friend does like to possess us when we get new friends." she looked at Robin.
He nodded in response, "He gets really excited easily. He likes to make us say weird stuff when he controls us. Sorry about that."
Toony looked at them suspiciously, but didn't question any further. Lucina looked interested however, "What's his name?"
The twins smiled, "Grima!"
