Chapter 7: The Princess Ball (Part 2)

Helia's P.O.V

I'm about to go dance with Flora but the conductor for the Lynphea Orchestra walks up on stage. "Please welcome back The Winx Club Band." He said into the mic then walks off.

Dang it, there goes my chance of dancing with Flora. I look and see Musa gesturing for me to come on then I look back and see Flora look disappointed.

"Sorry." I whispered.

I walk up on stage and getting ready to play my bass. I look out and see Flora with Riven and Miele smiling up at us. Flora has such a beautiful smile. She smiles up at me. I smile shyly back blushing then I quickly look down at my bass before anyone could see my blush.

"Let's give it up the Lynphea Orchestra." Musa said applauding everyone else starts clapping. "This song is called Believe in Dreams (A/N: By Flyleaf)." She nods at us and we began to play.

Musa:

Musa:

There is a applause and some people are crying after we finish. "Thank you." Musa said wiping her tears. She wrote that song about her mom who passed away when she was little.

"This next song is called My Immortal (A/N: By Evanescence)." She said.

Musa:

And the crowd went while again with clapping. "Thank you, now please give a round of applause to the lady this evening Princess Flora." Musa said. Everyone cheered and applaud while Flora blush. She has such a lovely blush.
"We have one more song to perform with a surprise twist. Flora please come up." Musa said. Everyone looks confused as Flora walks up the stage and sit down at a grand piano.

"Thank you everyone for coming her tonight. And I'll like to express deepest gratitude to The Winx Club Band and the Lynphea Orchestra." She said into the mic. Everyone cheered and applaud as we and the Orchestra bow.

"Now thanks to The Winx Club Band, they allow me to perform a song with them." She said and everyone went wild.

After she is finish everyone cheered and applaud. "Take a bow, Flora." Musa said. Flora smiles stands up and bows.

"It's been a real honor performing here and with the princess herself." Musa said everyone cheered.

"The honor is all mine to perform with you guys." Flora said back. Everyone cheered back.

The king and queen comes back on stage. "Thank you to both of you for the live performances. We are going to continue the ball with music from the stereos." The queen said then her and the king walks off the stage.

Now's my chance I put down my bass and went to Flora. "U-um…Flora would you do me the honor of dancing with me?" I asked bowing and holding out my hand.

"Sure." She said smiling and blushing while putting her hand in mine. I stand back up and smile and lead her down the stage. I glance to the side and see Riven leading Musa off and she gives a quick wink and I give her a quick thumbs up.

When we get off the stage we began to dance. And it felt like a dream. Maybe its time to confess to her.
