Chapter 8: Princess Ball part 3; Confessions

Helia's P.O.V
"Flora, there is something I need to tell you." I said.

"What?" She asked smiling sweetly at me.

Oh God, I'm nervous and so scared. But if I don't tell her now, I'll regret it. I thought. I closed my eyes and breath in and out. I opened my eyes and look in her beautiful emerald ones. "I really like you, Flora. Would you go out with me?" I said and close my eyes waiting for her to say she doesn't feel the same way. But instead she kissed my cheek. I open my eyes in shock and see her smiling at me and blushing. "I like you too, Helia, and yes. I would love to go out with you." She said wrapping her arms around my neck. I grin goofily and put my arms around her waist. I lean in and kiss her, she squeaks surprised but kisses back. Then she pulls away. "Sorry, my parents wouldn't like that I'm kissing you at a ball in front of everyone." She said blushing.

"Its fine." I chuckled. I look over a her parents and see them talking to some of the guests. "Um….would they approve of us? You know since I'm a bassist in a rock band." I said nervously.

"Yes, of course. They know how I feel about you. So they said they approve because you are a specialist and Saladin's grandson." Flora said blushing.

"Really?" I asked. She nods smiling and I grin.

"Does this mean we are…?" She starts blushing.

"Boyfriend and girlfriend? I hope we are." I replied. Flora grins at me and kisses me real quick and we continue to dance.

Musa's P.O.V

I see Flora and Helia kiss then continue to dance. "They seem happy." I said smiling as I'm dancing with Riven. I hope he'll kiss me.

"Yeah, they do. Finally, Flora has had a crush on him since forever." He said.

"Really? Same goes for Helia." I said. We smile at each other and continue to dance.

"Um…Musa?" Riven said after a while of science.

"Yeah?" I asked smiling.

"Would you…um…sorry, I never done this before, but um…would you go out with me?" He asked looking at me hopefully.

"What?" I asked shocked.

"Would you go out with me? I'll understand if you say no." He said looking away.

I kiss his cheek and said, "Of course I would, I like you for a long time." Once I realized what I blurted out I blush and turn away.

"Really?" He asked hopefully and I nod.

"I like you too." He said and I smile and throw my arms around and kiss him.

"So want to be my girlfriend?" Riven asked when I pull back.

"Of course." I said smiling. Best day ever, and apparently not just for me as I look towards Flora and Helia and smile knowingly.

A/N: I know Riven is a little OOC but I figured he might be nervous asking Musa out. And he could be a little sweet. I know I know that's not Riven, but I just wanted this to be a happy chapter.
