Chapter 4
Mario's Wild Wing was perfectly stationed in the GameStop parking lot.
As expected, the two Mario bros were looking for some new games
to add to their collection...
"How bout' this one Mario?" Luigi questioned him.
"I've already told you twice, no Call of Duty" Mario declined.
"What's wrong with COD, everyone is playing it!" Luigi whined.
"If it doesn't have anything to do with Mario or Nintendo,
then I don't want it." Mario finished.
"What if I get it for the Wii U?" Luigi persuaded.
"Deal" Mario said rolling his eyes.
"Sweet!" Luigi said with an ear to ear smile.
"But what I can't wait for is the new Legend of Zelda" Mario said.
"Man it's going to be epic!" Luigi agreed.
"The graphics are awesome, the bosses will be awesome, everything will be awesome!"
While they starting to walk out, they passed by a sign showing of the new Wii U games from E3.
"Well I sure got a kick out of those ones" Mario noted
"Yeah, Mario Kart 8 got me excited for weeks!" Luigi said smiling.
"I sure glad we don't have to save Princess Peach in Super Mario 3D World" Mario said with relief
"Yeah, I bet Bowser is angry about that" Luigi joked.
Luigi then turned his head to the right and tapped Mario on the shoulder.
"Bro, check it out" Luigi whispered.
Mario turned to see Peach, Daisy and Rosalina walking together side by side.
"Who's that?" Luigi asked looking at Rosalina.
"Oh, that's Rosalina, new girl" Mario answered.
"Dude, she is hot" Luigi said with a smile.
"I know right" Mario agreed as the girls walked up to them.
"Hey boys" Daisy greeted with a wink.
"Guys, this is-" Peach started.
"I already know Mario" Rosalina interrupted.
"Oh, really?" Peach said a bit shocked.
"Well, this is Luigi" Peach said.
"Pleasure to meet you" Rosalina said with a smile.
"We were just heading to the ColdShroom, wanna come?" Daisy offered.
"No thanks" Mario declined.
"C'mon Mario, it'll be fun" Luigi coaxed.
"You can go if you want" Mario said to Luigi.
"Thanks bro!" Luigi said while doing a spin.
"You sure you don't want to come?" Peach asked.
"Yeah, I bet all that Ice Cream could fit in your pudgy stomach" Daisy said.
"Take that back" Mario growled.
"Make me" Daisy said with a playful smirk.
Mario just glared at her knowing he could start a fight.
"I'll see you guys later" Mario grumbled as he walked away.
"Bye!"
Mario grumbled to himself as he walked in the opposite direction.
"Daisy is such a jerk, thinking she can get away with everything" Mario mumbled.
Then Mario realized something...
"My Wild Wing!" he gasped.
As fast as lightning, he sped back down to GameStop.
But just as he went into the Parking lot, two people sped off in the Wild Wing...
HIS Wild Wing.
"HEY, COME BACK!" Mario yelled.
But, the car never stopped, in fact, it went faster down the road.
"High Speed Chase it is then" Mario mumbled while pulling out a Red Star.
"Here I go!" he said as he transformed.
His red and blue overalls, transformed into red and black overalls and his fists were glowing a bright red.
"Now, to catch those car stealers" Mario said with a smirk.
Then he flew after them, red streaks flying behind him.
Sure enough, the car wasn't that far away but unfortunately, the car was headed into Mushroom City.
Any car was sure to be lost in that bustling place.
But it turned out that they were not such good drivers as Mario thought.
In just a few seconds the car swerved into a nearby parking lot, and the
thieves quickly ran into an alley.
"They sure have a lot of explaining to do" Mario angrilly said.
But when he entered the alley, the crooks were gone.
"Honestly, people these days can't just buy a car?" Mario thought.
Then he heard faint mumbling coming from around a corner.
Mario carefully peeked at them and their conversation.
"You never told us that it was Mario's car!" a familiar voice exclaimed.
"Wario?" Mario thought.
"I only told you to get me a car, I didn't tell you a specific kind." a voice said.
"But knowing you two idiots would steal one from broad daylight, i'll get one myself."
"Do we still get paid?" another familar voice asked.
"Waluigi?" Mario thought. "What are they doing here?"
"Why should you get paid, if you didn't get me what I asked for?!" the voice boomed.
"Quiet down, someone will hear us." Wario said.
"I can talk loudly when I want to talk loudly" the voice stated.
Mario wished he could get a better look at the mysterious person, but by
the looks of it, it sounded like a woman's voice.
"Did you get the car though?" the woman asked.
"Yes, but Mario probably took it away" Wario explained.
"Then go get it AGAIN!" the voice demanded.
"Alright, Alright, do get so pushy" Waluigi mumbled.
Mario quickly hid behind a trash can as Wario and Waluigi went by.
"Well well well, look who we have here." the voice said with interest.
Mario whirled around to see a figure standing above him.
"P-P-Pauline?" Mario gasped.
"What a nice surprise" Pauline said with a smirk.
"What are you doing here?" Mario asked while standing up.
"I just happened to be looking for you ever since you
ditched me for that dumb blonde." Pauline scoffed.
"I didn't ditch you, I just..."
"I don't even want to hear your excuses Mario" she said sternly.
"Pauline, I sorry" Mario started.
"You didn't look so sorry when you were hanging out
with that cheap excuse for a princess" Pauline rejected stepping closer to him.
"Pauline, we can work things out, no need to be hasty" Mario said backing away.
"I know something better we can do..." Pauline said with a smirk.
Mario gulped with fright.
Meanwhile...
Luigi, Peach, Rosalina, and Daisy were sitting at an open table
in front of the ColdShroom. "Why isn't our ice cream here yet?"
Daisy whined. "It's a busy day so... what do you expect?" Rosalina asked.
"Well, i'm going in there and demanding ice cream!" Daisy pouted.
"I might as well come with you, so you won't get into trouble." Rosalina said
while rolling her eyes.
"Can I come with you as well?" Luigi asked.
"No, you stay with Peach, to make sure she doesn't get kidnapped" Daisy giggled.
"I heard that!" Peach snapped.
"I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself!" she scoffed.
"Whateves" Daisy said walking away with Rosalina following.
"She's such a ham." Peach said angrilly.
"A ham?" Luigi questioned.
"Yeah." Peach said.
Awkward silence.
Peach just went back to her texting no even caring.
Luigi, however still stared at her a little dazed.
"She's so beautiful..." he thought dreamily.
"Luigi?" Peach said.
"What?" Luigi said snapping out of his fantasy.
"You seemed like you were in a trance, you ok?" Peach asked confused.
"Yeah, fine" Luigi said sheepishly while rubbing the back of his head.
Peach and Luigi stared at each other for a moment.
"Should I make a move, or something?" Luigi thought.
"But she's Mario's girlfriend..."
"But, I shouldn't just leave her hanging..."
"Lui-" Peach was cut off as Luigi started kissing her.
Unfortunately for them, as if on cue, Daisy and Rosalina walked out of the store
holding ice cream in their hands.
"WHY YOU LITTLE!" Daisy screamed dropping her delicious treat.
Peach pulled away from Luigi blushing and fuming madly.
"Yeah, I screwed up." Luigi thought as he blushed as well.
"Daisy, I can explain," Peach said waving her hands nervously.
"You better explain a lot Peach, or you won't be speaking for a while!"
Daisy said furious.
Rosalina on the other hand smiled a bit and walked away from the scene.
"If Peach doesn't like Mario, but likes Luigi, then Mario will be all mine" she said smugly.
"We are going NOW!" Daisy yelled pulling Luigi away from the table leaving Peach all alone.
"Oh, and by the way, here's your ice cream" Daisy said smearing ice cream all over Luigi's head.
"Gee thanks" Luigi groaned.
Back at the ColdShroom...
"Why would Luigi attempt something like that" Peach thought.
"Does he really like me that much?"
"Do I like HIM?"
"No, I-I couldn't, I-I love Mario..."
"But...where is Mario?"
Meanwhile...
"Pauline, we don't have to do this" Mario said blushing.
"I've missed you so much, so why not?" Pauline smirked.
"But. what if someone sees us?" Mario said.
"No one will see us or hear us Mario, just kiss me already."
Pauline stepped closer to Mario, making him more uncomfortable.
"Look, Pauline, I loved you before, but now is different."
"I know you still love me Mario, you just don't realize" Pauline assured him.
She pushed Mario against a wall and bit his neck sharply.
"Aaaah" Mario moaned, pleasure and pain filling him.
"Mmmm, you like that don't you Mario" Pauline purred massaging his body.
Tons of emotions were flying around Mario's body.
He didn't know whether to be mad or happy or surprised, he
didn't know Pauline felt this way about him. Then, images of Peach drifted into
his mind.
"Pauline" Mario started firmly.
Pauline stopped and looked into his eyes.
"Yes, Mario" she smiled.
"I really think we shouldn't be seeing each other" Mario said, a little worried.
In an instant, Pauline pulled back and glared at him.
"Yes, of course Mario" she hissed.
"Go back to that stupid idiot who you call your girlfriend."
Mario's eyes widened as he was taken aback by that sentence.
Then she turned her heel and walked off muttering awful thoughts to herself.
But then she stopped, turned around, and hurtled herself into Mario's arms crying.
"Oh Mario," she whimpered.
"I can't stand to be apart from you anymore, not from all we've been through."
Mario hugged her tightly embracing her.
"I-I'm sorry, but it's for your own good" Mario assured her.
She looked into his eyes with her own.
"If I leave, promise me you'll still love me" she said tears streaming from her face.
Mario pulled her into a passionate kiss and said softly,
"I promise"
