Chapter 5
A shadowed figure was present in a dimly lit room, frowning upon a single painting that hung before her.
"You... You thought you got rid of me, didn't you...?"
"You... You thought you saved the day...hmm?"
"How very ignorant and foolish of you to think such a thing..."
"All of the praise and admiration that you've obtained, will soon be shattered
as they witness your humiliating defeat..."
"You never defeated me... you only halted my original plans..."
She slowly rose her hand as a small orb of purple fire ignited from her right palm.
"Now thanks to you, I've had time to recover and regain my strength..."
Her hand then closed in on the orb and crushed it without effort, while
a smile crept upon her lips.
"Making me even more powerful than you'd ever imagine..."
She turned away from the painting and stretched out her arms,
as random streaks of dark energy swirled around and flew inside of her.
"Soon, everyone will bow down before their new queen..." she spoke.
"And as for you..."hero"...
She turned towards the painting, her eyes glowing red.
"Instead of being my servant... you will be my sustenance..."
Sorry for the extremely short chapter. I just wanted to introduce yet another possible character in the story.
