Chapter 8
"Hey bro, the dance is in a few days" Mario mentioned viewing a poster.
"Have you asked anyone yet?"
"Luigi?"
Luigi was too busy daydreaming to hear his own brother speaking.
"Hey Mario," Luigi started.
"Yeah?"
"If someone likes this girl, but he doesn't want to leave his current
one, what should he do?" Luigi asked.
"Well I think you shou-"
"I NEVER SAID IT WAS ME!" Luigi yelled his face flushing red.
"Alright, Alright" Mario reassured.
"If I were this person, I would go with what my heart tells me". Mario explained.
"It should mostly be common sense, but most people don't understand that".
"Right, Thanks Bro" Luigi said with a smile.
"By the way... I'm the person who needed that advice". he admitted.
Mario's eyes widened slightly. "You? But why?"
"I saved Rosalina yesterday and... she kissed me... she looked
so beautiful yesterday Mario and... i'm starting to really like her." Luigi explained.
"So, you're thinking about ditching Daisy just for someone who's prettier?" Mario questioned.
"It's not like that!" Luigi quickly answered.
"Not to mention that you kissed Peach the other day!" Mario sniped.
"But... How?"
"Daisy told me yesterday, and she sounded really pissed." Mario said slightly angered.
"Mario, I'm sorry it just happened." Luigi said holding back tears.
"If you would've thought better, than you would've remembered that you have a girlfriend,
Peach was my girlfriend, and Rosalina is just your friend. " Mario calmly stated while his back was turned.
"But Mario, she likes me and I like her back"
"Not just because of her looks, honest!" Luigi said.
"Daisy's angry at me, and probably won't speak to me when she hears about this"
"Why should I go back to her, when she's just going to push me away?"
Mario didn't answer.
"On the other hand I have someone else to go to, so why shouldn't I?"
No answer
"Bro?"
"When I first saw you and Daisy together, it brought me so much joy and happiness." Mario calmly said.
"When I see you and Rosalina, I see emptiness and regret". "But if you love her so much, then so be it".
"Thanks for helping me bro." Luigi said with a small smile.
"No problem" Mario said with a small smile as well.
"Bowser, for the 1000th time I will NOT go to the dance with you!" Peach groaned.
"C'mon Peach, I'm a thousand times better the Mario." Bowser said.
"More like a thousand times worse." Peach countered.
"Goodbye!" she said as she hung up.
"He seems to be calling frequently." Daisy noted as she was brushing her hair.
"Ever since the dance was announced, that was all he was doing." Peach said angrily.
"Has Luigi asked you out yet?"
"No, and I wouldn't care if he did."
"You're STILL mad at him?"
"Aren't you mad at him for kissing you?"
"Sure, but you should be more forgiving since he is your boyfriend."
"Why should I! He kissed you!"
"So?"
"SO?! THAT'S BETRAYING OUR RELATIONSHIP!"
"It was just a kiss Daisy, it's not like we were making out." Peach explained.
"I've kissed Luigi on the cheek plenty of times"
"Well you didn't kiss him on the lips, HE did." Daisy said angrily.
"He probably wasn't thinking, maybe he was dazed." Peach thought aloud.
"Yeah, dazed from looking at you" Daisy countered.
"Well if you aren't going with Luigi, then who are you taking?" Peach asked.
"I'll find someone." Daisy said.
"Did Mario ask you out yet?"
"Not ye-" Peach started as she was interrupted by the doorbell.
"I swear if that's Bowser..." Peach muttered as she walked downstairs
with Daisy following.
"Who is it?" Peach sighed.
No answer
"If this was a prank then it's not-" Peach started while opening the door.
"Hi" Mario said with a bright smile with flowers in hand.
"Hi" Peach greeted.
Mario got on one knee while giving Peach the bouquet of flowers.
"Will you go to the dance with me, my sweet Peach?" Mario said romantically.
"Yes! Of course!" Peach gleefully as she hugged Mario tight.
"Great!" Mario said with a smile.
"I'll see you on Friday!" "Bye!" he said as he walked away.
"Bye Mario!" Peach said waving as she shut the door.
Peach sighed with happiness. "Isn't he just the greatest?"
"Yes, he sure is." answered an angry and jealous Daisy.
"Anyway, i'm still thinking about going shopping Tuesday, do
you want to come?" Peach asked.
"No thanks, i'll doing my own shopping." Daisy said looking away.
"Are you just jealous that I have a sweet, kind, and generous boyfriend, and
you don't?" Peach asked smugly.
"Of course not." Daisy lied.
"I just wish that I had someone to go with." she sighed.
"You can still go with Luigi, if you forgive him." Peach said.
"As if!" Daisy scoffed.
"I'll wait until HE apologizes, then we can go together. I'm
not apologizing to nobody." she finished.
"Then good luck finding someone to go with." Peach mumbled as she walked back
upstairs.
Toad Town Mall was the largest building in Toad Town, where
you could spend 3000 coins without regretting a single thing that you
bought. They had a large food court, seasonal events, and many stores to
shop. Despite its size, it's not very easy to get lost, when they have many
stationary signs to guide you throughout the mall.
Also, all the stores are divided into sections including:
The Clothes Section, The Food Section, and The Toys and Gifts section.
Daisy was looking through a store in the clothing section in hope to find
a good dress to wear.
"Too short, too long, too thin, too baggy, too casual, too formal
too clingy, too light, too prissy, too... disgusting." Daisy complained.
"It needs to be the perfect dress, something that will even get Peach jealous." she thought.
She then heard and saw two familiar people walk inside the store.
"You STILL haven't asked Daisy out yet?" Mario said to Luigi.
"There seems to be no need to." Luigi said simply.
"You shouldn't have said that bro..." Mario whispered.
Luigi gulped as Daisy was standing in front of them.
"There's no need huh?" Daisy sniped.
"Well...I...Uh..." Luigi stammered.
"If there's no need to ask me, then just who would
you be taking to the dance?" Daisy asked angrily.
"Well...You see..." Luigi began.
"Yes?" Daisy said while fuming with anger.
"I was going to say "There seems to be no need to "ask" because, I was just
going to ask you right now" Luigi lied.
"Well?" Daisy said impatiently.
"Will you go to th-" Luigi started before he was interrupted.
"Hey Luigi!" Rosalina greeting behind him with a smile.
"Hi Mario, Hi Daisy!"
"Hey" Mario greeted coolly.
"Rosalina, what a surprise." Daisy said coldly as she glared at Luigi.
"This is a very bad time." Luigi quickly said to Rosalina.
"But didn't you say we were going shopping together
after you asked me out to the dance?" Rosalina asked.
"WHAT?" Mario and Daisy said in unison.
"Yeah, he just asked me yesterday and it was really sweet
too, with a song and everything!" Rosalina smiled.
"Oh no..." Luigi thought as he pulled his cap down.
"Interesting" Daisy said while trying to hide her rage.
"Mario, may I talk to you for a second?" "Great." Daisy said as she
pulled him behind a few racks of clothes.
"I don't know what is going inside of your brothers head,
but it's damaging our relationship. Daisy growled.
"So I want you to break them up, or else I'll get REALLY
mad." Daisy explained.
"Well, I think it's none of my business" Mario said calmly.
"Really? Well then..." Daisy started while pinning Mario against
a nearby wall.
"Let's make it your business then..." she said while bringing her face
dangerously closer to his.
Mario's face got intensely hot as Daisy started making a trail of
kisses up from his neck, while rubbing the sides of his body slowly.
"S-Stop" Mario calmly pleaded, but she still continued.
She then started sucking on his neck profoundly, with Mario sucking in
in sharp breaths and moans.
"Aaaaah!" Mario moaned as her actions were becoming more overwhelming.
"Do it for me Mario..." she said seductively while nibbling on his ear, with her hot
breath against it.
"What if I said no?" Mario asked wanting to know the answer.
"Then I would make you say yes, by taking things to a more... drastic measure." Daisy replied.
She then kissed Mario on the lips, their tongues wrestling as Mario grabbed her shoulders
while she shoved her tongue in further, deepening the kiss. After a few seconds,
Daisy broke the kiss and asked, "Will you help me now Mario?" while licking her lips seductively.
"O-Ok" Mario stammered while finally giving in.
"That's a good Mario." Daisy said while winking at him.
"I'll see you later then" Daisy said as she started walking out while purposefully
jabbing Luigi in the side with her elbow.
"Oops!" she said in a mocking tone while leaving.
"What we that all about?" Luigi said rubbing his left side.
"Nothing in particular" Mario said while blushing slightly.
"Anyway, we need to get ourselves some new Tuxedos..."
