The ride to the base was quick and not painless, the knife wound that Blonsky had left on Bruce had not fully healed while Banner was transformed and now a medic was treating the wound. Ross had scooped up everyone from the Hulk attack, Rick and Sterns were in the car with him while Betty was with her father in the vehicle in front of them.

Upon arrival they were all whisked inside and Bruce spotted Betty talking to a man and they seemed more than friendly "must be her man" Bruce thought to himself as he was led into an elevator that began its descent as Betty was talking to the man and her father.

Glenn had been fawning over her since they arrived at the base, she appreciated him caring but she was more worried about Bruce and what her father was planning to do with him. He approached her and Glenn, they had argued the whole trip here, not that it mattered to him, he got what he wanted and that was Bruce.

Ross stuck his hand out to Talbot "Good work out there Talbot, I have officially transferred you to my command permanently and you are now my second in command" explained Ross causing Betty's mouth to drop open.

"Thank you sir, I hope that this will be a long mutually beneficial partnership" said Talbot as Ross looked at Betty and walked by needing to keep his eyes on Banner and check on Blonsky who had been brought in by medical.

"You're working with my father now?" she asked knowing that her father needed Glenn's clearance to get something but not that he was working with him in such a personal way.

"Yes, I am. I've been dreaming for a chance to fast track my way up the chain of command, you just heard your father. I'm second in command now. This is the chance I have been waiting my whole career for" Glenn explained not understanding why Betty was so upset.

Betty shook her head "Bruce and I have history and I am scared of what my father or the military might do to him and the fact that you helped him do it… I clearly don't know you as well as I thought" she said turning and walking away to follow down to see Bruce, Talbot threw his arms into the air as she walked away from him.

Coulson was inbound when the call came in from Clint and Natasha and he had to call Fury and explain how his two best agents Hawkeye and Black Widow had failed to keep Banner from Ross's hands. To say Fury was upset was an understatement but Fury was highly interested in Blonsky who had clearly been enhanced by an old Super Soldier Serum as they had assumed, he wanted Barton and Romanoff to watch him and Fury would handle getting his hands on Banner. Coulson walked off of the Quinjet and spotted Barton waiting for him with a car. "Where's Widow?" Coulson asked as he got into the passenger seat.

"She's watching our brand new best friend Blonsky. Should have seen the guy Coulson, never seen a person move like that ever" Barton explained as he drove them to meet with Natasha outside of the base where Banner was being held.

Ross walked into Medical looking for Blonsky but could not find him "Where is Blonsky?" he asked one of the doctors.

"He stood and walked out as soon as he got here, said he was fine" the doctor said and Ross turned to walk back out.

Ross pulled out his radio "Anyone got eyes on Blonsky?" he said as he walked through the base. A voice cracked over saying that Blonsky was standing outside of Banner's interrogation room. Ross sighed with frustration and started making his way towards Blonsky and Banner.

Bruce was handcuffed to a table inside a room that clearly was designed for interrogation, he figured that Ross would be paying him a visit soon. The knife wound had stopped bleeding and the nice doctor had assured him that there would be no permanent damage and he could thank some Shield researched medicine for his what would be his speedy recovery. Not that a speedy recovery mattered he was about to stuffed into a dark, dank cell and left to rot for the rest of his life. When the door to the room opened Bruce found himself shocked. He was first thrown off because he thought for sure Ross would be his first visitor and it wasn't and more shockingly it was the soldier that had pulled his gun on Betty and gone toe to toe with the Hulk.

Blonsky sat down across from Banner, looking at the man know threw Blonsky off, the thought that a normal man like this could hold so much power. He could see the shock in Banner's eyes at seeing him.

"How?" Bruce said amazed at how quickly the man had recovered from his fight with the Hulk, Bruce was remembering things from his Hulk attack and he remembered the damage that Hulk had done to him.

Blonsky scoffed "I've had a few things done since we met in Panama" said Blonsky noting how Bruce sat, how aloof he was, he had accepted his fate but that was not good enough for Blonsky. "You have incredible power, and you don't use it...why?" he asked.

"Because I don't need to, and more importantly I don't want to. The damage I can do is unimaginable, I can't risk it…too many people would get hurt" Bruce explained noticing how Blonsky was shaking his head.

"You're a coward" Blonsky replied standing up and pacing the room "With that kind of power you can do whatever you want…no one would be able to stop you. You could protect world leaders, topple entire governments, but you choose to run like a coward." Blonsky leaned over the table and put his face close to Bruce's "You don't deserve this power and I want it. Tell me how I get it."

Bruce shook his head "No, there is no way to get this and even if there was I wouldn't tell you."

Blonsky moved to speak again when Ross opened the door "Blonsky, c'mon lets go" he said prompting Blonsky to stand and stare into Bruce's eyes.

He turned and walked out of the room and stood in the hall as Ross ordered the guard outside the door around, Bruce watched Blonsky closely and watched him mouth three words to him "See you soon."
