Bruce pleaded with Ross until Ross left the room, leaving Bruce handcuffed in his room while Blonsky was rampaging across the city. The military had shown Bruce multiple times that they couldn't take care of the Hulk and if not for Betty the Hulk would probably be doing exactly what Blonsky was right now. The only thing that could stop Blonsky was the Hulk and Bruce needed to figure out a way for Ross to see that. He looked around the room and he could feel his body tensing up on him, he had worked on suppressing the Hulk but not bringing him out, so now he needed to get angry.

Ross entered the command room in the base, dozens of screens and a dozen or so technicians were working to get a complete understanding of the Blonsky situation. Ross shook his head as he watched footage of Blonsky taking Sterns from the base, "Where is he now?" he asked.

"Sprinting after a motorcycle that seems to be leading him somewhere" said a young lady who was monitoring the situation. Ross peeked over her shoulder and could see two people who were distracting Blonsky and minimizing the damage done. These two could buy Ross some time, once the security council got wind of this situation it would only be a matter of time before they would want an explanation or simply make a decision for him and he did not like that idea one bit. Not to mention that Blonsky mentioned the Hulk and he knew exactly where he was and he could easily come here and start something with him.

Rick was sitting in the corner of the command room, he asked to see Ross and right after he was brought here to wait, New York starts going nuts and a monster was on the loose. He didn't see Bruce figuring that Ross was keeping him nice and isolated from everyone just lessen any chance of anyone angering him for some reason.

Bruce was still trying to think of a way to bring out the Hulk, he tried to think of an angry memory or something like that and it didn't work. He tried cutting his hands on the handcuffs hoping that it would set him off but nothing seemed to work. He looked up when the door opened and saw the guy that Betty was talking to before he was put in here.

Talbot didn't really know why he had come in, he didn't follow Ross like he should have. He ended up at the door to the room where Banner was and had tried to figure out what he wanted to do or say to him. He wanted Banner to pay for stealing Betty from him, he took the seat across from Bruce "My name is Glenn Talbot" he said wanting Bruce to know just who he was.

Bruce could see the look in Talbot's eyes, he was angry, the kind of angry that Bruce knew all too well at this point in his life. Bruce couldn't help himself but smile because not only is Talbot angry, he's stupid angry.

Talbot started to breath heavier, he couldn't believe that Banner had the audacity to smile at him after everything that's happened "Who do you think you are smiling at me?" asked Talbot.

Bruce needed to play this just right for this whole situation to work out in his favor, he didn't answer choosing instead to just shrug his shoulders. Talbot hit the table with his fist "Let me guess" started Bruce prompting Talbot to look at him with rage in his eyes "You're a little upset that your girlfriend dumped you. Not only did she dump you but she dumped you right in front of her father, who's your boss." Talbot stood as Bruce talked, slowly making his way around the table towards Bruce. "Not only did she do that but the guy that she dumped you for is a freak who can literally give her nothing and that freak turned her down which means not being with me was still better than being with you" Bruce stated almost laughing his way through the rant. Not that he meant what he was saying but he needed Talbot to believe it.

Talbot looked at Bruce and fake smiled before he grabbed Bruce and rammed his head into the table, "You think your funny don't you?" he shouted as he pulled the chair out from underneath Bruce. "C'mon laugh at me now" Talbot continued as he delivered several blows to Bruce whose hands were held above him by the handcuffs on the table.

Talbot finally stopped when Bruce's eyes were closed "Didn't pass out on me did you? I'm just getting started" he said kneeling down to come eye to eye with Bruce. When Bruce's eyes opened, they were not the normal color instead they were green and Bruce began to shake.

Talbot backed up slowly and then started to make his way to the door so he could get out of there. The handcuffs snapped off as Bruce began to grow and transform into the Hulk. Talbot was panicking as Bruce completed his transformation, the Hulk turned and looked dead into Talbot's eyes and proceeded to hit the young Major through the door freeing the Hulk from the confines of the interrogation room.

It all happened quickly, Blonsky had managed to corner the motorcycle and now was about to start fighting a Shield response team and now Hulk was rampaging through the base. Ross was setting off various security measures hoping to slow the Hulk down but found them all to be useless. He was moving with purpose as if he could sense that Blonsky was waiting for him up top. Ross needed to think of something and he needed to figure it out as soon as possible, Shield needed help with Blonsky, but he needed to keep the Hulk in custody and if he got outside the Hulk would vanish and Ross would be back to square one. He mobilized his troops into the main hangar where a service elevator was located that could take the Hulk to the surface and if Hulk knew what Banner knew than he would be heading straight for that elevator.

Rick watched as Hulk bashed his way through the base and knew that the only way for Ross to protect his men would be to let the Hulk out "You can't fight him inside here" said Rick hoping that a General like Ross would understand the situation tactically at least.

Ross knew the man was right, fighting Hulk in close quarters was a death warrant and all of his heavy weapons were up top and probably were being deployed in some way against Blonsky. Hulk burst through another line of defense, they were dropping large metal doors to attempt to contain Hulk but he was too fast and too strong for it to work effectively. Ross had to make a decision, all these people under his command were counting on him to keep them safe and get them home. Ross pulled out his radio, "Clear out the main staging area all personnel clear out and call the service elevator down" he said. He would let Hulk loose and hope to recapture him topside.

He turned to Rick "Any ideas on how we lead him outside?" asked Ross as his men cleared the room.

Rick thought for a second "The lights, and power the elevator the Hulk will at least investigate and then you can send him on up and he can deal with Blonsky" explained Rick, Ross shrugged his shoulders and gave the order.

The Hulk got out of the long hallways and found himself in a large room and the lights turned out, the Hulk spun expecting some kind of attack but soon saw a light turn on. It was on the far side of the room and Hulk began to investigate, he stepped onto a platform and it hummed to life and began to take him up. Hulk was confused at first but that changed when he heard the roar above him, it made something click in the Hulk's mind and he started to climb up the shaft. He reached the top and forced himself through a metal door and clawed out of a building. The Hulk got outside and began to look around and saw people running in all kinds of directions before he flexed his arms and roared to the heavens.
