Steve barley got his question out when Kashel had his arms wrapped around his waist. It was a very welcomed surprise. Steve hugged the boy back happily. Then just like that Kashel let go, threw Steve a smile then went back to sit with his brother. Steve smiled from ear to ear as he watched one of his boys walk back to the couch. He glanced over and noticed he had an audience. Amanda was also smiling widely and Danny gave him a nod as if to say good job.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

"Happy birthday dear Ainsley, Kash, and JAAAGOOOO, happy birthday to you!" The entire party sang.

The triplets smiled ear to ear as they each blew out the sixteen candles on their three tiered birthday cake.

"My beautiful grand-babies; I wish you were so much closer. Grandpa and I miss seeing your beautiful faces every day," said the doling older woman.

"Evelyn, stop hogging them, it's my turn for hugs," teased the older man.

"Fine Frank, they are yours. I'm going to help Mandy cut the cake."

She kissed each of her grandchildren before she departed. Frank waited until she was out of earshot before speaking.

"Alright, get in much closer," he whispered.

The three teens walked in much closer and formed from what looked like to outsiders, a football huddle. Frank looked around one more time to make sure his wife was nowhere near.

"Okay, what do you three say to going out to breakfast with just me tomorrow morning?"

"Why gramps? Is it because you want to get your hands on deep fried bacon and buttered biscuits; which we all know grandma doesn't allow you due to your heart-attack last year."

"Oh come on, even the doctor said once every six months wouldn't hurt me. She is just much too protective."

Ainsly smiled, "that just because we all love you so much."

Jago then smiled, "you can count me in."

Just as Jago finished his statement he turned slightly to greet a friend. He didn't watch what he was doing and spilled a portion of his virgin sangria drink. It went onto his sisters white top.

"JAGO! You idiot, look what you did!?"

"Ohhh shhhhiioooot, I'm so sorry!" Jago tried.

"Now I have to change my whole outfit!"

Steve walked over, "hey little star, let's take a deep breath, its okay, you know your brother didn't mean it. Just go change. Let's have a really good day. Please?"

Ainsly sighed, "Sorry daddy."

She smiled then ran up to her room to change. Frank put his arm around Steve's shoulder.

"Cake is ready," said Frank"

That is all the boys had to hear before they ran off into the kitchen leaving the two men behind.

"So Steve, how has the past six months of fatherhood been treating you?"

"Let's just say, it's been very educational; but, also the most wonderful. I just hope I have learned enough to survive being with the kids for two weeks without Mandy or Danny."

"Aww, yes, that's right, the honeymoon in Rio; well, considering you're a lieutenant commander at 5-0 and a former Navy seal, I'm sure you will be just fine," Frank smirked.

"Mmmmm, I don't know. I think combat is much easier to deal with than three hormonal teenagers."

Frank let out a good laugh.

"Touche my friend, touché."

Amanda just got off the phone with Ainsly's modeling agent. She had the look of panic as if it were a neon sign flickering on and off of her face.

"Sweetheart, baby, what's wrong?" Danny asked.

"Oh nothing, just freaking out as I have no clue how I can manipulate myself into being in two places at once."

Danny smiled, "maybe if you were a little more specific I just might be able to help you figure it out."

"That was Ainsly's agent. He has a great opportunity for her modeling career."

"That's wonderful, so tell me why you are freaking out."

"They want her in New York for a couple weeks; which would be fine normally as that is what we have been doing from time to time when she gets her jobs; but, the problem is that it's during our honeymoon."

"Awww okay, well, New York is my original stomping ground as you know. We could ask one or both of my brothers to watch over her."

"Really? Are you sure? I mean, do you think they would?"

"Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem. I'll call them tonight. If anything, they will be here on Wednesday for the wedding so she can always fly back with them. I don't know, it'll work out. I promise."

"Have I told you lately that you are the best and I totally love and appreciate you?" Amanda smiled lovingly.

"Mmmm is that so?" He smirked, "well, perhaps tonight you can show me," he said with a playful little eyebrow wiggle.

Knock Knock

Steve looked up from his desk, "hey Danny."

"Hey, just letting you know I'm off to get my brothers from the airport. I'm going to drop them off over at my place and then I'll be back."

"Okay, no problem."

Steve's cell phone rang. Danny waved goodbye with a smile.

"This is Lieutenant McGarret."

"Hello, Mr. McGarret, this is Sandy from Moanulua High. I wasn't able to get a hold of Amanda. It's regarding your son Jago."

"Is he okay?"

"Yes he is," she paused, "well, he is sporting a nice black eye; but, other than that, he is fine. Apparently he and another student had a disagreement and got into a fist fight. He's in the principals' office now. Is there any chance you could come in to discuss this issue with your son and the principal?"

Steve sighed as he began to rub his temple, "Yes, certainly. I'll be there in thirty minutes."
