Chapter 1

"Amy!" Shadow came running towards me.

"Hi handsome!" I was so happy to see him. I had just returned from my vacation. I had missed him so. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Amy Rose? Isn't she supposed to be with Sonic the Hedghog? Well, to make a long story short; Sonic cheated on me with Sally, Shadow came to cheer me up. And we fell in love.

"Did you have fun with your parents?" he said hugging me.

"I guess.." I said a little sad.

"What's wrong?" Typical Shadow, he always sees somethings wrong.

"It's my mom...she's on the hospital. She was run over by...b-by a car." I started to cry.

"Shadow, I don't want her to die. I can't live without her!" I said between sobs.

"Is it serious?" he said hugging me again.

"The doctors said it was and that she wouldn't be able to live the hospital in months."

He stroke my hear and after a minute he whispererd:

"I'm sorry".

We took the subway home to me and he asked if i wanted to be alone.

"Yeah." I said. He kissed me on the cheek and walked home.

Shadow and I had only been together in a few months but he knew me better then anyone.

When I had calmed myself down I decided to go to Cream so she knew I was home. On the way I saw Sonic sitting on a park bench. When I walked past him he said:

"I'm sorry Ames"

I didn't stop because of that. He had his chance but he threw it away. Why should I forgive him now?

When I arrived at Creams house I knocked.

"AMY! YOUR HOME!" she jumped up in my arms.

"Cream. I. Can't. Breathe."

"Oh, sorry. Come in!" She made us some te and we sat down on the couch.

"How was your trip?"

"Good" I lied.

"Oh, wonderful! Nothing bad happend?"

"Err, no" I lied again.

"Good! Are you and Shad still together?"

"Yeah. He's the best guy I ever had.."

"Yeaah..?" She probably thought I lied.

"Errr..Cream? I think I should go 's..it's getting late."

"Oh! Okay. See ya tomorrow I guess! Bye!"

"Bye."

God I hated it! Everyone thought I still did love Sonic! I walked home with quick angry steps.

"Damn!" I said to myself. Sonic was still in the park. Know he was walking towards me.

I took another way. He was still after me. I just wanted to turn around and punch him!

"Amy!" he screamed. "Amy!".

"Shut up! Shut up your stupid hedgehog! I hate you! I don't know you!" Tears were falling from my eyes, I started to run.

"Please! Listen to me!"

I turned around. He was crying. I never saw him cry before.

"You're faking. You're not crying." I started to walk again. Quick stepps. I just wanted to get away from him. He fell to the ground, but I started to run.

When I got home I called Shadow.

"Hi, are you feeling better?"

"Yeah, thanks for asking."

There was silence for a minute.

"I love you Amy." He said.

"I know, and I love you to.. can we meet tomorrow?"

"Of course we can. I'll see you tommorrow."

"Bye Love ya."

Then I just fell asleep.
