HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NATSUKI~!

OK, I know it was yesterday(15/8), but I forgot I was distracted by Skillet and um... stuff... OH! Does their song Monster remind anyone else of ShizNat?... Also, I was originally gonna use 'this' idea for a Heroes fic. Anyway... IT'S BETTER LATE THAN NEVER, RIGHT? Well, enjoy. PLEASE REVIEW! HNG!

DISCLAIMER: I don't own Mai-HiME. If I did I'd probably remember Natsuki's birthday.

"Na~tsu~ki~!" Shizuru called as she let herself into Mai, Mikoto and – while her flat was being fixed – Natsuki's dorm room.

Upon hearing her name enunciated in the familiar voice the room's one occupant looked up from the motorbike magazine she'd been reading, to see Shizuru Fujino sitting on the arm of the sofa she was lying on. "Shizuru. What's up?" She asked as she sat up, already feeling suspicious.

"Happy birthday!" The taller girl responded with a grin.

"Ugh..." Natsuki groaned in distaste, slapping her magazine down onto the table. The ruby-eyed soon-to-be-ex-kaicho pouted disapprovingly at the younger girl's reaction. "You haven't told anyone else, have you?" Natsuki asked, ignoring Shizuru's expression completely, as she imagined the wrath of Mai and Midori. They would insist on 'celebrating' and having 'fun'. Natsuki hated karaoke at the best of times, but as the 'birthday girl' she would surely be the centre of attention. Karaoke whilst being the centre of attention = Hell. Far from 'fun'.

Shizuru merely smiled and shook her head. Knowing exactly what the other girl was thinking. "So, what would my Natsuki like for her birthday?"

Natsuki pondered the question for a few seconds before inspiration struck and a mysterious smile spread across her features. She got up and sauntered over to where Shizuru was sitting. She pulled the aforementioned ruby-eyed girl to her feet; and leaned in just close enough that they could feel one another's breath on their faces. Natsuki smirked slightly as she felt Shizuru shudder at the closeness of their proximity.

"Na..." She attempted before trailing off as a certain navy haired ex-HiME brought her face painstakingly slowly nearer to her own.

An uncharacteristically bold Natsuki waited until their faces were a hair's width from each other before verbalising her answer to Shizuru's damn-near forgotten question.

"You. Baka."
