A/N: I just got Professor Layton and the Unwound Future as a present, renewing my undying love for it! I got this idea while playing the sticker book mini-game. Yes - although it pains me to admit it - this is a self-insert. But a small one, so don't hurt me. Yeah, annoying Luke is one of my pastimes.

Disclaimer: If I owned the Professor Layton franchise, I'd make Luke steal the Professor's hat for me.

Sticker book

"Here sonny, something for a nice lad like you to play with," the old man said, his words slurred.

He handed Luke a smallish book with a felt cover. It said "sticker story time" on the front.

"Um, thanks," Luke said, taking the gift uncertainly.

After the Professor asked Anita a few questions, we headed out of the bar/diner toward the hotel.

As soon as we had left the building, Luke began to get all worked-up over the gift.

"Why would that man give me a sticker book? Can't he see I'm to old for them?"

I couldn't resist the urge to poke fun.

I leaned in close to Luke's ear, cupping a hand over my mouth in mock-secrecy.

"Maybe he was confused by your high, squeaky girl voice," I suggested, then shoved my hands in pockets and scurried ahead.

Luke stood there for a moment, a little behind us. Then it clicked.

He ran up to me and shoved his index finger in my face accusingly, while I just grinned.

"Hey!"
