Addicted To You
Chapter 5

The Cafeteria Problem 1

Somewhere in England…

"I wonder what's happening to our daughter right now. I'm worried." A woman in her late 30's, with auburn hair and hazel eyes asked worriedly.

"Just calm down, my brother is taking care of her." A man in his 40's replied with assurance in his tone, while smiling at the auburn haired woman.

"She didn't even last a day here. I wonder she why can't leave Japan."

"Don't worry, she's a smart girl. She'll be safe there."

Back at Alice Academy - Japan…

The five new boys were now surrounded by some girls in the class. They kept on asking questions. The boys, except Natsume, answered them all. Natsume was busy on glancing at the auburn haired teen.

'It's annoying.' Mikan thought in irritation. She knew that someone was kept on glancing at her. She stood up and sat beside a certain raven haired girl that was currently reading a book.

"You look annoyed." The raven haired girl said not even looking at Mikan.

"Stop stating the obvious Hotaru. I hate it when someone's kept on glancing at me."

"Ah, your stalker." Hotaru stated plainly.

Mikan eyebrows quirked. "Stalker?"

"Remember six years ago? The Hyuuga kid." This statement made Mikan shocked, but she immediately hid it. She looked at Natsume, until their eyes met. Then she remembered it, those cold crimson eyes. A faint blush crept on her face. And then it hit her. She immediately looked away.

"Hotaru, shall I call the police? Having a stalker is creepy."

"No you can't. That guy is a son of a wealthy couple, so I'm afraid no police will ever believe you…anymore..." Hotaru pointed out as she closed her book and turned her gaze at Mikan with her usual stoic face.

"It's your choice after all." She added.

"Yeah, yeah, I didn't forget that." Mikan answered as she sighed heavily.

Silence…

Mikan looked at the five new students again. One of them caught her attention. That spiky blonde hair with matching annoying, goofy smile.

"Wait, is that guy Koko?" Mikan asked to Hotaru, her gaze fixed to Koko.

"You finally noticed." Hotaru commented.

A grunt escaped her mouth. "Oh, God."

The guys were still surrounded by girls, still questioning them. But in the middle of the commotion, an unexpected question came from an unexpected person caused a lovely, eternal silence.

"Why do you respect the late girl a while ago so much?" Natsume asked nonchalantly, he even didn't look at the girls in front of them.

"Oh you mean, Mikan-chan?" a random girl asked, breaking the silence.

"She is the student council president, so we need to do that, after all, she's a great leader, even if she doesn't like it, we'll still do it. Maybe after six years of studying here, she got used to it." Another random girl said.

'President huh? Not enough reason to be respected this much.' Natsume thought and again glanced at Mikan... for the 100th+ time.

"She's had been here for six years means she's only 10 at that time." Koko said in confused tone.

'Six years ago my cousin left. But I'm sure this girl is Mikan! No one else can come that close to Hotaru except her! Something very fishy is happening here,' Koko thought.

"That's right, Yome-san. And for those six years, this whole class never changed, except today that your group suddenly came." A girl with green permed hair and matching green eyes said out of nowhere.

Koko looked where the voice came from, and saw a smiling girl in front of him. He gulped and laughed nervously.

"Mou, that was mean, Sumire-chan." Said by another girl with wavy pink hair and blue colored eyes. "We should welcome them, right?" She added, smiling at the voice.

"You're right, Anna-chan. Then welcome to Class A." Sumire said still smiling. Koko, Ruka and Yuu were all speechless because there was a weird dark aura surrounding this Sumire girl.

The bell rang signaling that it was break time. The whole class except the new students left the classroom.

"I think we're not welcomed here." Yuu muttered.

"Yeah, I think so. Maybe let's just return back to our old school." Koko said sadly.

"Tch. We will stay here." Natsume said in cold and threatening tone.

"But…do you really think that the girl you followed here is my cousin?" Koko asked Natsume.

"Huh?"

"It's just weird, my cousin left six years ago, and yet she was here. That just don't make any sense." Koko said and ruffled his hair.

"Come to think of it Natsume, Koko is right." Ruka said.

Natsume clenched his fist in annoyance.

"I don't care. If you want to leave, then leave me alone." Natsume scowled and then left the room.

"Guess it can't be help. Let just take this as new challenge in our lives." Ruka said trying to be positive.

"Yeah, I guess that was the best thing to think." Yuu said with a nervous smile.

"Ok, alright." Koko and Mochu said in unison.

School cafeteria, break time…

"I feel uneasy at our class a while ago." Sumire said while eating her meal.

"You even talk like you don't want them to be in our class a while ago, especially Yome Kokoro-san." Anna said and then chuckled. Sumire laughed.

"Nah, I'm just joking a while ago. Does it look real? Ha-ha-ha" Sumire asked and faked a laugh.

"Not even a bit." Hotaru suddenly said while munching her crab brains.

"Eeeh, why are you always like that to me Hotaru-chan? We've been friends for six long years!" Sumire cried.

"I don't care." Hotaru replied.

"Matte, something is not right." Sumire suddenly said while looking at Mikan.

"What?" Mikan asked innocently.

"It's you Mikan-chan!" Anna and Nonoko shouted.

"I thought silence is not in your vocabulary." Hotaru stated knowingly.

"It's weird. Is it connected to those boys?" Sumire asked and her face moved closer to Mikan.

"Hey, it's not. Stop asking." Mikan retorted.

'Those guy especially that red eyed guy… and Koko, their presence was bugging me.' Mikan thought.

Their small talk was interrupted when the cafeteria door burst opened revealing the five new students from Class 3A.

"Well, well speaking of the devils." Sumire clapped. Their eyes watched their movement.

The boys sat at the table next to them.

"Finally it's settled." Ruka said with a sigh.

"Hn."

"Oh, what a beautiful table." Mochu suddenly said dreamingly, staring at the table next to them.

"You like the table?" Koko asked stupidly.

"Nope, that table." Mochu then pointed at the table next to them. This made the other four to look at that particular table too.

"Look, she's also there." Mochu added with a laugh and then looked teasingly at Natsume.

"Shut up."

"They're looking at us." Nonoko said in scared tone.

"It's creepy." Anna added.

This made Sumire more annoyed. She stood up with her hands on her hips and walked to the table where the boys were.

"What are you all looking at?" Sumire asked in irritated voice, raising her brows. She glared at them, especially to Koko. Koko hid himself at Mochu. Mochu tried his best to push Koko away from him. Yuu shivered and Natsume rolled his eyes and ignored her existence.

"Scary permed girl." Koko muttered, his voice was shaking.

"What? I heard you, stupid blondie!" Sumire screeched her face was fuming in anger. Before she could smack the poor Koko on the head, a soft and gentle voice spoke.

"Who are you?" Ruka asked. Sumire's eyes diverted to Ruka.

Sumire's irritated face suddenly changed – from annoyed to a sweet expression which Koko thought was really bloodcurdling. She approached Ruka and…

"Ooh, so kawaii, I'm Shouda Sumire and you are?" Sumire flirted and sat beside Ruka.

The boys almost fell from their seats. Ruka smiled nervously and sweat dropped.

The girls sighed, almost in unison.

'Typical Sumire…' They all thought and then sighed again… But one action made them surprised.

Hotaru stood up, walked to the table beside them, grabbed Sumire by her collar…

"H-Hey, Hotaru-chan! Why – " Sumire struggled.

… and dragged the flirty Sumire away from the azure eyed guy. They went back to their table and everything went silent.

"Hotaru, why did you do that to Sumire?" Mikan asked in confusion.

"Yeah! I'm having a good time with that cute guy!" Sumire pouted.

"Don't come near him." Hotaru threatened. They all got a menacing glare from the amethyst eyed teen.

She went back to the table of the boys and approached Ruka, who was now confused. She stared emotionlessly at the blonde guy and an evil smirked formed in her lips.

The girls became suspicious at her actions. But those suspicions were later washed away.
