Izuku awakes to somber light pouring into his room. Crawling out of bed and onto his feet he rubs his eyes. He can hear the faint chatting in the common room sneak under the door. Izuku stretches his muscles, and the occasional pops and cracks chime out. As Izuku picks out an outfit, the chatting voices outside begin to grow louder with the occasional shout. Wondering what the commotion is about he steps out to see Iida, Kaminari, and Kirishima huddled across the couch staring at Kirishima's phone with shocked expressions.

"Midoriya, you have got to see this right now" Kaminari calls out to Izuku.

"What's going on?" Izuku answers back nervously.

"It's easier just to come and see this" Kaminari chimes back

Izuku slowly walks over to them in utter confusion before seeing his phone. The whole map of Japan is completely different. New landmarks, establishments, and some entire cities are littered across the map. He stares in complete shock, looking to make sure this was an official app and not some smart prank pulled by Kirishima. To his surprise it was legitimate, Izuku suggests checking out social media apps to see what people are saying. As Kaminari switches over, the app takes an eternity load. The four look at each other with the same intense confusion before seeing the phone light up and the feed load. The group is fascinated, seeing posts and videos tagging all these new locations. Two of these change their confusion into dread as videos of Gotham City and Hells Kitchen already display rampant quirk crime. Footage of vicious shootouts and brawls between gangs and police hero forces is slowly approaching the hundreds. After a few moments of silence, the group erupts into a flurry of ideas, concerns, and plans.

A Few Hours Later…

All the students from the entire school come flowing into the courtyard, getting ready to hear the school's announcement. The crowd is restless, chatting away amongst themselves before the screech of a megaphone with speakers can be heard. Principal Nezu steps onto a podium before starting his speech.

"Within the last 24 hours, the country, and the world as a whole have changed drastically. As many of you have likely seen, the world's geography has transformed. Hundreds of cities and landmarks have sprung up across the world, and in addition to these locations, people have as well appeared. Our estimates range far into the tens of millions in Japan alone. This change may have been spontaneous, but we are still heroes, and we are here to defend the people. The World Hero Organization is researching the transformation. Organized crime and villain attacks are surging, and whatever evils these people faced have followed them but it is of no match to the strength we have. We shall proceed as normal, with one exception, the work-study program will be re-engaged in the coming weeks. You are dismissed"

The crowd surges back into a discourse. Izuku's stomach turns and a wave of anxiety leaves him sweating. Looking around he realizes he's not alone in his reaction. Glancing at each other, Class 1A knew this was a moment in history like never before. The class regroups and trails off to the side of the courtyard. Now being able to see past UA's main tower, they look toward Mustafa. The skyline is different now, the skyline of a much larger city is visible beyond it, a skyscraper piercing high into the sky above all else catches Izuku's eyes. Atop its peak, it bares a W gigantic enough for the students to see all these thousands of feet away. Thoughts of exploring the new places spring through their heads until Iida reminds them of the crime that's spreading from those places.

Aizawa approached the class, his strained eyes empowering his stern glare. The class braces themselves for whatever strict orders are about to come their way. Aizawa takes his long strides, glancing at the new skyline before he puts his attention back on the class. Looking at the teens a raw sense of responsibility consumes him. This is different, this is huge and while they may be competent fighters, they are still kids after all.

"Given our new circumstances, I'm issuing a change for the next month. All of your classes have been halved in place of a mandatory training time increase,"

Some groans escape from a handful of students' mouths before Aizawa darts his head in their direction, the students instantly correcting themselves.

"Until I deem otherwise, I am additionally imposing a strict curfew. There will be no traveling to these territories until they are properly explored and evaluated! I will know if you break that. You will be granted one day of free time to rest before we go into the second stage of training before the work studies are re-implemented" Aizawa finishes his orders before heading back to converse with the other teachers.

Izuku's mind runs wild, all he can think about is researching this new transformation. He starts to mutter under his breath as fast as his mind lets him. Uraraka looks over at him with a slight grin.

"There he goes again," she says in a cheerful tone

Todoroki buts in after "It is a good idea to keep ahead of the updates, we should get back to the dorms"

Izuku continues to trail off, completely missing all of them calling out to him, when he finally stops he sees most of 1A heading back before catching up with them. The group's tension has slightly faded, no longer as scared as before. The twenty of them decide to watch television in the common room. Ashido throws the pillows around scrounging for the remote to dial up the volume and change the channel.

"Found it" Ashido quips before jumping back and onto the couch. The plastic remote buckles as she frantically presses the arrow buttons to get to the Mustafa local news. The lizard reporter calmly speaks as he presents Mustafa's new neighbor, Gotham City.
