Misleading Definitions
It was a shining warm day in Konoha as Ino walked towards the training grounds where she was to meet the rest of her team. As she got there she noticed only Shikamaru was there, and he was looking through a book. Now, Shikamaru may be a genius, but never in her life had she seen Shikamaru actually reading a book. Picking up the pace, she reached the spot where he sat on the ground and sat down next to him.
"What in the world are you reading Shika?" she tilted her head to see the cover of the book and raised an eyebrow when she read the cover.
"A dictionary? You nerd," she said with a smirk. He sighed.
"I just found it okay, it was on the ground and I was bored," he replied with nonchalance. Ino thought for a moment before a thought came to her.
"Look up boner," immediately Shikamaru froze, and turned to the blond with a questioning gaze. She only laughed.
"Come on! Just do it! I want to know if they have it on there," with a shake of his head, Shikamaru flipped through the pages and Ino was pleased to see her friend do as she asked. It was only moments before Shikamaru stopped at a page and read something out loud.
"Boner, a blunder or an error. A mistake," he replied, "Happy now. Nothing even perverted."
Up ahead Ino saw Choji approaching them.
"Choji!" she yelled out and noticed their friend offer a wave,
"I just made the biggest boner!"
