Hitsugaya Toushiro walked across the road, his snow white hair ruffled gently by the breeze. He pulled a small piece of paper out of his trouser pocket and read his destination for what might've been the 15th time.
He was excited.
He felt like a small child on Christmas morning waking up to find their stocking over flowing with presents. When he had received a letter in Soul Society he had be speechless, the thought of finding, and seeing her face after 20 years seemed more like a dream. But it was reality. As he glanced around at the houses his stepped quickened.
A few seconds later he had arrived. Now he stood in front of a small pale orange house. he stood near the garden gate and looked at the piece of paper in his hand again to make sure he was at the right place. The 10th house, the right house. And he didn't fail to notice that it was the same number as his division either.
All he could do was stand there and stare at the house, he was finally here. But he couldn't just knock on the door and expect everything to be like it used to be. They hadn't seen each other in years, and it had only just struck him in those years that his heart truly ached for her, he had unknown to himself fallen head over heels in love with her.
He had missed her. Her smile, her laugh, her touch. It had been years and now he was finally here.
He looked up. The house door opened and a small black haired girl about 6 years old jumped out the door. A dark haired woman followed.
'Sora!' she called 'slow down! Your going to fall over if your not careful!' the small girl Sora, carried on running. Turning her head to answer 'but mommy! I don't want to waste any time! I need to get to the park quickly!' as the small girl got to the garden gate, she tripped. Her bright blue eyes widened in surprise as she found her self suddenly falling towards the ground, at that she screwed her eyes shut, only to open them later when she realised she hadn't hit the floor. Someone had caught her. She looked up slowly too see a pair of ocean blue eyes much like her own stareing back at her. They seemed oddly familiar. She had seen them somewhere, But where?… 'are you alright?' the blue eyed man asked. She paused looking at him, thinking. 'his hair looks familiar too' she thought. 'umm…I think s-so' she said quietly, looking down she mumbled something.
Toushiro frowned. 'pardon, what did you say?' he asked the girl. She looked up 'I said you looked familiar..' 'familiar?, we've never met…' he frowned harder. The girl then jumped up eyes shining and beamed. 'I remember now!' she said excitedly. 'you look like my da-' 'sora!' the woman had joined them. 'thank you for helping my daughter' she said then turning, next to her daughter. 'I told you, you might fall over!, your lucky this man was there to catch you. Be more careful!' she scolded. 'but mommy!' the little girl said pouting 'I had too! Anyway, mommy! the man looks like da-' 'I couldn't help noticing that you look a little lost, are you looking for someone?' the girls mother asked interrupting the girl again. 'um..yeah I kinda am' toushiro replied rubbing the back of his neck. 'I got a letter from a friend ages ago, but I'm not sure if they still live here' 'well' the woman said smiling 'I've lived here for a while, I know everyone around here so I might be able to help you, what's their name?' toushiro didn't answer straight away. He just looked at her. 'she still looks the same' he thought 'her hairs longer but she's still as beautiful as last time'
'well' he said looking into her violet eyes ' her names Karin, kurosaki Karin, and im hitsugaya toushiro' he smiled and spoke again 'its nice to see you again. Karin'
