Tracy's Floor

A/N: Sorry if I put a comma in the wrong place or if my sentences run together. I hope the words you read are understood. I use Word Tune and a free version of Grammarly. I know my writing sucks, and I'm trying to work on that. I don't always proofread my stories and have to work on them. Furthermore, I hope my shoddy writing doesn't hinder you from enjoying my story.

Chapter 1: Night Visitor

Thirty-one-year-old Noah Puckerman snuck into two-year-old Tracy Anderson's room drunk, calling her Beth for the third night in a row. He soon passed out on her floor before she put a pillow under his head and covered him with the quilt from her bed. Then Tracy's parents' peek in as Tracy snuggles up to Noah and drifts off to sleep.

Soon Tracy's Dada, Kurt Anderson, takes a picture of them with his phone and sends it to Noah's girlfriend, Quinn Fabray, with the message, "Puck is here again. God, Quinn, it's been three days since Beth's funeral, and I can't believe Puck has come here drunk and passed out on Tracy's floor every night. I can't even believe Shelby wouldn't let him come in to see Beth one last time."

Quinn replies, "Kurt, Beth didn't remember him and thought Finn was her dad. I'm just glad my blood helped her live for two more years. I'll be there after work like always. Does he have his artificial leg on, or did it fall off in your yard again?"

Kurt sees the leg propped against Tracy's bed and texts, "I see it propped against Tracy's bed. She must have taken it off after he passed out. I swear, Quinn, I tried to nail her window shut after you left yesterday, but Tracy wouldn't stand for it. Even though she is only two, I should do it anyway. But Puck is her first crush, and I learned pretty fast that if I say no to Tracy, she has a temper like her Uncle Hulk."

Quinn responds with, "Hulk was Puck's call sign overseas, and I remember your dad having the same temper. I'm so glad you didn't get Norah together with your dad and that you found Blaine. I hope you let Tracy stay home this time because we both know she wants to yell at Puck. Well, goodnight. " Kurt didn't reply this time and shut off his phone as Tracy hit Noah in the head in her sleep.

Noah woke up in the morning to find Tracy sitting on his chest with her arms crossed. Noah didn't even get a chance to speak when Tracy yelled, "You big dummy, it's not your fault Aunt Beth is dead, and she knew you were her dad since she saw Sarah's baby picture on Facebook! I was the only one she told after she found out about my crush on you!"

Then, she stood up and grabbed Noah's leg before yelling, "Tell me the truth! I was right, wasn't I? You cut off your leg to get away from those men I dreamed about, didn't you? If so, you're a hero to me, and Nana Shelby is the loser for keeping you from Aunt Beth."

Noah takes the leg and asks, "Did you see everything that happened to me, Tracy? Did you tell your Grandpa Burt about your dreams too?" Tracy soon hands Noah a picture of a green man whipped by black stick figures. Then Noah breaks down crying as Kurt's father, Burt Hummel, peeks in with his wife, Carole. Noah then lies back down on Tracy's floor, crying, as Tracy hums until Noah goes back to sleep.

When Noah woke up again, he was on Tracy's bed and saw Burt sitting in a rocking chair, holding Tracy as she slept. Then Burt said, "It took me weeks to get a hold of General Young or get any information. It wasn't until after your discharge from the Air Force that they told Norah what had happened. I set up a job interview with Mick for tomorrow. I know you were the one that disabled Kurt's car back in high school, and I also know Kurt's real first crush was on a boy that had a crush on Kurt's mom."

Noah rolls his eyes and says, "I should have known I couldn't trust Finn with that secret. I didn't even realize that was Kurt's mom until I saw the last family picture of you guys at the hospital at your house."

Then Noah sat up as he said, "Kurt had her diary under his bed, and I read it thinking it was his until I saw your name and nickname. I doubt Kurt read it, or he would know that his mom dated my dad to piss you off."

Burt chuckles as he says, "Come on, Puck, I know you found her diary in that box we gave you after Finn died. By the way, it backfired, and Norah was the one that got pissed off at Elizabeth. If you thought your fight with Finn over getting Quinn pregnant was hell. The feud between Norah and Elizabeth was nothing compared to that. Norah and Elizabeth fought over dating the same guys until I started dating Elizabeth. I think Nick loved Elizabeth and just moved on to Norah because she got pregnant with you."

Noah looks at Tracy as he says, "Mom was beating me up until Quinn got pregnant. I was never good enough as a kid. I never wanted to go home because of her. Without Beth, we might all be who knows where."

Noah sighs as he continues, "You were the only father in my life. I bet Kurt wouldn't have liked me living with you guys, but he would have gotten over it."

Burt chuckles as he says, "No, he wouldn't, Puck, and you know it."

Then he hands Noah a bag and says, "I bought these as a gag gift before you and Quinn broke off your engagement. It's fair to say that Tracy referred to me as Grandpa Hulk before she referred to you as Uncle Hulk."

Noah hops into Tracy's bathroom after taking the bag. Then he said, "Mr. H, my spare crutches are in Tracy's closet, and I wasn't that drunk last night. It might sound crazy, but I came to see Tracy because she is my best friend. She never tells anyone anything I tell her. Plus, she tells me what I need to hear."

Burt puts Tracy to bed as he says, "Puck, she doesn't have to tell anyone. We hear everything you say on her baby monitor. Plus, that's how Kurt found out about the things you shared with me yesterday. I didn't tell Kurt anything about what you said to me." Burt soon gets Noah's crutches and helps him out of the tub.

Noah uses the toilet as a seat as he puts his clothes on. He puts on his shorts and says, "Since we're spilling secrets here, I was wondering. Are you on Viagra?" Burt says nothing but nods his head yes as he points to a Hulk doll on the counter of Tracy's sink.

Noah puts his leg on last and says, "I don't know why I even got this thing. I only wear it when I walk here and when I wear jeans. Tracy thinks I should have one of my rifles turned into a spare leg or have a leg like Robocop's. Frankly, I wouldn't mind it. But I know Quinn wouldn't be up for that. By the way, she's afraid I'll be worse than you were back in the day if she has another girl."

Burt chuckles as he whispers, "Carole hates me for being like you in bed."

Before Carole clears her throat, Noah chuckles as Burt whispers, "Crap!"

Then Noah walks out of Tracy's bathroom and says to Carole, "Mrs. H, don't make me say what Kurt would tell Mr. H. Besides, Santana tells me you like the fact he is on Viagra." Carole blushes but says nothing as Tracy wakes up, and she leaves to get Tracy.

Soon, Burt and Noah head to Mick's shop, and Noah asks, "How did you figure out I was the boy that Kurt crushed on?"

Burt chuckles and says, "Rachel. Remember, she would call you Noah when you two were dating? I knew you were Nick's son, but I never knew your name. Did you find the blue journal yet?"

Noah chuckles as he says, "You mean the journal Kurt kept when you were dating Mrs. H? Oh, yeah, I found it, and so did Quinn. When he realized I was the boy, he had a crush on as a kid. He wrote, "God, no, not Puck!" Three hundred sixty-five times before ripping three pages out. The rest of it was letters to his mom. Do you mind if we go to Elizabeth's grave?"

Burt clears his throat as he says, "Sure thing, Puck."

After Noah gets the job, Mick says to Noah, "Quinn stopped coming here after you two broke up. Your friends aren't the only ones to notice you were acting like Burt. Is it true that you keep a Super Soaker in your gun closet? And why?"

Noah looks at Burt as he says, "Well, I have a huge bladder, and I bought it when Quinn was pregnant with Beth."

Mick chuckles as he says to Burt, "I told you it had to be his piss in those balloons!"

Then he says to Noah, "I knew it was your piss because that stopped when Burt and Carole started dating. You know we heard the things you said to Kurt, too, don't you?"

Noah glares at Mick as Mick's five-year-old transgender grandson, Brandon Nelson, runs into the office crying. Then, Noah says to Mick, "I got this." before he heads outside.

They soon heard Noah roaring, then he yelled, "Hulk Smash!" as the kids were screaming.

When Noah returns, they see his shirt ripped. He chuckles as he says, "Those were the same kids that bullied Tracy, and they all peed themselves. Then I heard one of them whisper, "Uncle Hulk!" You know. Quinn may not come here after we get back together, and I bet your grandson might come to me more than to you now."

Mick looks at Brandon as he says, "I doubt it, Puck. His dad Rick is his hero. You remember Rick The Stick, don't you Puck?"

Noah chuckles as he asks, "Rose married Rick?" as Brandon glares at him.

Soon, Burt and Noah were standing in front of Elizabeth's grave, and he said, "I'm sure everybody knows by now that I named Beth after Kurt's mom. Mr. H, I wanted to come here since Beth is in New York. I would come here every day after Quinn took me back home. I tried to talk to Quinn so many times after the funeral. She refuses to talk to me and yells at me about it being my fault that Beth is not here. I know she only talks to Kurt. She refuses to speak to Blaine, too."

Soon Kurt is calling Burt, and when he answers the call, Quinn yells at Blaine, "You still have a daughter, Blaine! I lost mine! By the way, did you know Rachel had to beg Shelby to let me see if I was a match for Beth? Maybe Kurt was right? There is no God! How could God kill Beth or let Puck get raped? Now, let me do this! I want to die now. Hand me that gun!"

Then they heard a gun go off, and Kurt screamed, "Tracy!" before the call dropped.

Noah drove Burt's truck to the hospital, flooring it the entire way. After parking near the entrance, Noah storms in to see Kurt and Blaine yelling at Quinn. Then Noah grabs Quinn by the arm and drags her to where Tracy is in the ICU. As Norah and the other nurses try to save Tracy, Noah yells, "You couldn't save Beth, and now Tracy could die because of you! Quinn, it wasn't anyone's fault that Beth died! It took that little girl to get me to realize it, and as far as I'm concerned! I'm glad we are over! Quinn, I love you; I want to be with you, but like I said, Tracy is my hero!" As they wheel Tracy into the operating room, he lets go of Quinn, who runs out crying.

Later, when Kurt and Carole return home, Kurt finds Quinn asleep on Tracy's bedroom floor as she holds Tracy's Hulk doll. He soon covers her with Tracy's blanket and whispers, "That's it! I'm buying a sleeping bag and an alarm system. Quinn, you better be thankful Blaine dropped the charges after talking to Puck tonight."
