Here we are, Sam's leaving. Again.
This time is different, though. Dean's given up everything to be with him. Try to make him whole again.
He left for Stanford, outside Burkitsville, was nearly killed by Gordon, when Meg possessed him, to be with Ruby night after night. Finally left Dean lying on a bed of broken wood and shattered glass, half dead, barely able to breathe, falling unconscious alone in a strange place. Each departure takes a little more of Dean's heart.
But Not-Sam cannot care, doesn't acknowledge he's ripping Dean's guts out again.
