It was a normal day in Beacon. The sky is clear. The birds are singing. The students are doing their own things like studying, training, sparing, sleeping, playing games, etc.

?: Dang it!

?: Ah yeah! Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

?: Really you two? Must guys so loud?

?:*reading*...

Ruby: Sorry Weiss.

Yang: Ah, you worry yourself Ice Queen.

Weiss: Why you-

PA: May Team RWBY come to Professor Ozpin's office. Team RWBY, please come to Professor Ozpin's office.

As that announcement was finished Weiss looks at Yang and Ruby. The former mostly.

Yang: Wut?

Ruby: Why are you looking at us?

Weiss: Why else. Plus knowing Yang there is bound to be a reason.

Ruby & Blake: True.

Yang: HEY!

Ruby: Anyways, come on team. Maybe it is an interesting/important mission.

Yang: Or exciting.😁

Blake & Weiss just rolled their eyes at the sisters' behavior.

[Time skip]

Team RWBY arrives in Ozpin's office with Weiss looking at Ruby who had her hands behind her back.

Weiss: 😡

Ruby: 😗

?: Ah, Team RWBY.

?: How come it took you four an hour and 30 minutes to get here? From here to your dorm, it takes 20-25minutes.

Weiss: 😡Someone pressed all the buttons.

Ruby: 😗I wonder why someone did that?

Ozpin:*chuckles* I wonder as well. So, I am sending you four to a location in Emerald Forest that not only has a faint distress signal, but also has little to no Grimm around the area.

Yang: Wait, for real?

Blake: But how?

Glynda: I know it is strange to hear, we checked if is Atlas or a huntsmen team.

Weiss: And?

Glynda: It was neither.

Ruby & Yang:😯 Whoa.

Ozpin: Which is why I am sending you four to check it out as we might not what is there. I will also have Teams JNPR and CFVY as backup. Glynda will there with the two teams. Finally, keep communication on every ten minutes. As we do not want to lose contact with you four.

Ruby: You have our word Professor Ozpin! We let you down.

Ozpin: Glad to hear.

[Time skips to Emerald Forest]

Ruby: All right, now let's find out what is making that distress signal. Blake, contact Ozpin that we just landed.

Blake: Got it.

Yang: They said that it should be around here. But *looks around* where?

Weiss: Our scrolls will help. *Uses scroll and gets a faint signal* Yes it worked! It is just about 1 and half miles from here.

Ruby: Then what are we waiting team? Lead the way Weiss!

As the four made their way to the location, they contact Ozpin every ten minutes. It took about 50 minutes for them to reach their destination. What they came across was a cave that its length was the height of a 4-story building and the width of it was about a thousand feet.

Ruby & Yang: 0_0 Sweat sister.

Blake: The signal is in there?

Weiss: Apparently.

Ruby:*a little scared* O-okay team. Let's continue.

WBY: R-Right.

The four of them continued their journey in the cave, it began to look less of a natural cave as metal was showing the floors, walls and the ceiling. To them it looked weird, or it could be a secret base here. Then they came across what looks like an abandoned faculty.

RWBY: 😲 Holy Mother of Oum.

Ruby: This place is huge.

Yang & Blake: No kidding.

Weiss: I don't think I seen underground facility either this big or one like this at all.

Ruby: Look! Those must be the offices.

She points to a set of rooms with a lot of office supplies.

Yang: Holy crapbaskets.

Weiss & Blake: You say that too?

Ruby:...

WBY:*looking at Ruby* Ruby?

The rest of the team looked what Ruby was looking at.

What they see is green pods with what looks like people in it.

Blake:*scared* Are those...people in there?

Yang:*scared* I'm too scared to even think.

Weiss:*scared* You and me both.

Ruby:*scared* Why does look there's mor-

Glynda: TEAM RWBY!

RWBY:*scared* AAAaaahhh!

Just arriving was Professor Goodwitch and Teams JNPR and CFVY behind her.

Jaune: Hey guys.

Nora:*looking around* Whoa, creepy.

Pyrrha & Ren:*a little scared but hiding it* Yes, very creepy.

Coco: Monty Oum, what hit this place?

Fox...

Velvet:*scared* I feel like we are being watched.

Yatsuhashi:*cautious* Same.

Glynda: May I ask why you*looks at the green pods*... haven't...send...are those...people?

After she that Teams JNPR and CFVY looked at Glynda & RWBY are looking at and let's just that lot of felt fear.

Jaune:*in another room* Guys? I found two things here.

As he said that everyone else followed where Jaune is at and entered to a room that had...let's just say...a fuck-ton of those green pods.

Glynda, Yang, Weiss, Coco, Nora & Yatsuhashi:*terrified & jaw dropped* Holy Mother of Mercy.

Blake, Pyrrha, Ruby, Ren & Velvet:*terrified & jaw dropped* I think we should leave.

Fox: Wait, Jaune you said, 'two things here'. What's the second one?

Jaune:*terrified & points* That.

What he points at is a pod.

That was broken opened.

Glynda:*terrified beyond rational thought* WE NEED TO GET OUT OF THIS INS-

Fox: Professor watch out!

Thanks to Fox, Glynda dodged a glass shard that was heading towards her.

Yang & Coco:*shocked* Who the fu-

Yang gets grabbed by the neck and gets pinned down to the ground hard.

RWB, CFVY & JNPR: Yang!

Yang:*semblance activated* GET OFF...*deactivates semblance*...Me?

To everyone shock the person that has Yang pinned.

Was Yang.

Yang:*confused* What the?
