Could Not Stop

Dagonet did not have the chance to look at the morning sky as he usually did. He had glimpses of the ever changing night sky during his few moments of actual rest. The child tossed a bit in his slumber, and Dagonet supposed that was what kept him from resting. It seemed as if he were always moving, from one battle to the next.

Between Woads, Romans, and Saxons, it seemed as if he would never find true peace on this earth. The child had noticed the sunrise.

I will have time to watch the sky soon enough,

he thought.
