Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom or 6Teen. I do not own the original story this is based on.
"Sir, I have startling news...a citizen was teleported from Amity Park to Toronto...Yes, sir. I have acquired the intel in a most...peculiar way...It was the Fenton's son...the ghost hunters, sir...I'll keep you posted."
The food court was bustling as Danny and Jen shared a meal. The redhead clung to her boyfriend, nuzzling herself as his scent filled her nose. The former did not know what to make of this behavior, aside from the signals his hormones were reading.
The ghost boy could feel everything as his chest was being dogged into by the girl's head. He felt more like a teddy bear or an anime body pillow, sending shivers down his spine as his blood rushed from his head.
Why do I feel the need to separate? I thought this was supposed to be a good thing? The thoughts echoed in Danny's head. Back at school, there had always been talk overheard from jocks, meatheads, and anyone who's brain hadn't been fully developed about how a girl acts when she wants certain things. For gifts or tokens of affection, a girl was said to act distant. Anytime something fun was involved, a drag of the arm or entire body was done, with the occasional speaking their mind.
However, a girl rubbing her body against her boyfriend was something seen further down the steps of a relationship. And Danny was not sure he was ready for such activities. He looked around for a distraction, noticing Jonesy and Jude were studying together at Stick It.
Well actually, Jude was barely managing to read the book and Jonesy was using his binoculars to spy/perv on random girls. He was not subtle in the least as the lenses focused on chests and butts, making him grin wider. Danny watched from a bench as the duo as a girl stormed up to the lecherous teen, calling him a pig as she shoved her pizza slice into his face.
"If you wanted a date, you could've asked!" Jonesy yelled as the slice fell off his face. "Jeez, I wish chicks like that would loosen up."
No one noticed a ghostly chant as a glow encompassed the girl . Soon, her clothes loosened up, a detail that was made apparent as she tripped over her own pants. The girl reached around to pull them up, but her arms were more noodle than girl muscle. Her fingers could not grip her clothes as she soon shook on the floor.
A near by boy offered her help, but screamed as her body unnaturally bent and folded into his arms. Hitting the floor was not painful, but made everyone join the spaghetti girl's crying as they called for a hospital.
"Something tells me Jonesy might end up in jail or the hospital of he keeps ogling girls in the open," Danny commented, unaware of the incident. His ghost sense sent a chill up his spine as the wisp escaped, but his mind was preoccupied with his girlfriend's embrace.
Jen said nothing as she cuddled in the boy's arms, laying her head into his chest. Surprise visit or not, it was nice to hug the boy and not wait for his next trip to the Great White North, a not so great vacation spot in the eyes of many tourists. When she heard the ghost boy's words, a quick kiss and all attention was back on her, like she wanted.
Right now, Masterson wanted to sulk with a perfect cuddle. Her break seemed to go on for hours, but Coach would not fire her for this. He would never fire his best employee.
"I can't believe they said that to me, I don't go around butting into people's business, right Danny?" Jen tiled her head up to get a better look at her boyfriend, but to surprise, saw a nervous grin.
"Danny?"
"Uh, well...actually...Jen..." Danny put a hand behind his head, scratching away. His smile dropped as a scowl appeared on Jen.
"Are you kidding me? YOU think that too?" Jen pushed him back as she got up and began walking away as the ghost boy followed with shaking hands.
"Jen, I know you mean well and you have nothing but good intentions...but...sometimes...every now and then...you tend to...I don't know, take too much...charge?"
Jen looked upset to hearing that. No, scratch that, she was furious after a long day of having her buttons pushed, all because she wanted to help a friend pass his exams. What right did her boyfriend have to offer bisect to her methods?
"I thought you'd have my back!" Jen snapped.
Danny cringed with two steps back. Just his luck as his first real girlfriend is angry with him and he can not help being honest. Puberty was always like this.
But a blue wisp escaped his throat as Desiree was seen granting more wishes behind Jen. The girl's growl cut his attention, putting him between a rock and a hard place. And despite what he wanted to do, his heart would not let him make that choice.
"I...see you're mad—" Danny inched away. "—so I'll let you...cool off as I get you some chocolates."
That did not help by a long shot as the girl gasped, now growling louder with narrow eyes. The ghost boy said nothing else but a quick bye as he left to transform.
"Are you kidding me!?" Jen yelled.
"Are you kidding me!?" Ron the rent-a-cop yelled. He had been called over for an emergency, but never expected to see toys come to life and rampaging.
Jonesy, who had been fired from the same toy store for leaving his post, gulped loudly. He was partially glad to have been fired, but now felt guilt panging at him as he saw a stuffed giraffe and elephant throw a bench into the candy store.
"Wow...please tell me you got this," Jonesy pleaded. "Cause I really regret leaving the store too long."
Ron scowled deeper as he pulled out his anti-ghost pistol. He knew these sentient stuffed animals were the after effect of the supernatural, and would hold the law accordingly. Maverick would be taken care of next.
Cocking the gun, Ron aimed as he warned before firing, "Halt! You are in violation of Mall Law G, Subsection H, note O! No stealing!"
Jonesy blinked at the obvious infraction of the law, but stil watched as Ron open fired in the stuffed animals as they jumped him. Cliff flew like bloood in war movies as the rent-a-cop ducked, rolled, and retaliated with gunfire and fists. A six foot elephant doll tried to body slam him, but the officer threw the stuffed mammal, grabbing the trunk before blasting its head into pieces.
A fluffy lion ran over with an oversized mouse as a gorilla and rabbit with gigantic ears backed them up. Ron spun the remains of the elephant nose, readying it like a flail and whipped the horde away. He got the majority, but not all as he watched the mouse go over the railing, he fired his pistol but his target jumped away at the last minute.
"Don't think any of you is escaping the law," Ron said darkly with narrow eyes. "Here, I am the law."
Dusting his hands, Ron looked over his shoulder, towards Jonesy, who had been staring in awe. The teen cheered for the officer, as did other who saw the event. Ron did nothing, this was just another day in the chaotic environment that was the Galleria Mall. The officer called for clean up on his radio before he stepped away.
"What's the matter?" Came a voice. "Don't have time to play?"
Ron turned back to see Desiree appear from thin air. The belly -dancer-dressed genie ghost smiled wickedly with her twenty foot figure. She was more like a giant than regular ghost at this point.
"Somebody quick! Get her a modeling agent!" Jonesy yelled in teenage excitement as some boys hollered with hormones.
Ron said nothing as he aimed his ghost pistol.
"Do you think a mere man can stop me?" Desiree taunted with a glow. Reality was nearly cracked as the air rippled and ground shattered.
"I think I can!" Danny Phantom yelled. He blasted Desiree from behind before tackling her. With a quick pin against a wall, the ghost boy had the upper hand against the voluptuous genie.
"Okay, Desiree. What's the story? Same plot?" He quipped as the latter pushed back, gripping his hands, her slender figure hiding amazing power; then again, she was ten times his weight at this point.
"Same story, just trying to grant people's hearts desires. You should know this by now," The genie ghost said, now pushing back.
"And twist them into something else. Yeah, I should know this by now," Danny muttered. He put more force behind his strength as the two began wrestling for control. Teens began to holler for the ghost boy as some got out their phones, either for the fight or Desiree.
"Why did you bring me here?" He muttered quietly.
Desiree smirked, twirling the ghost boy around, discombobulating him as she turned into a tornado. Phasing through the floor in a drilling manner, and entering the mechanical rooms beneath, the genie threw her foe into the nearby pipe, hissing with steam as they bent.
"Your little girlfriend wished you were here. And thought what better way to surprise you after granting more wishes," Desiree explained with a glowing body.
Danny blinked.
"Jen missed me that much, huh? Wow, and I ticked her off...although I did have a point," he said, scaling his actions.
"Too bad for her, that's the last thing you'll ever say to her," Desiree said darkly, focusing on the broken pipes. Lift in by them up, she hurled the make shift spears.
Danny did his best to dodge the incoming projectiles, while also trying to think of the right way to wish Desiree back to the Ghost Zone and undo all her granted wishes in one quick spoken wish.
Tackling the ghost genie, he phased them back into the main area, specifically the food court.
"I wish you'd—"
"Dudes, check out the hot floating chick in a bikini!" A random teen yelled over Danny.
A large crowd, mainly filled with hormonal guys, started to gather around the fight between these two ghosts. A lot of people in the crowd even brought out their cameras and cellphones to take pictures of the supernatural spectacle. Even Deadpool was in the crowd using his Nikon D100 camera model, that he "borrowed" from someone, to also take photos of the fight between Danny Phantom and Desiree. Mainly Desiree, for obvious reasons.
"And there's my money shot for the week," Deadpool said, while taking a few extra photos for his secret scrapbook of memories of DxJ by using his superhuman acrobatic skills to get just the right angles to take the most action-packed pictures. But the flashes from his Nikon D100 camera caused Danny to shield his eyes from the many blinding flashes of light that kept making him lose his focus on the fight.
"Man, I can't get a good shot of the smokin' hot green babe in a bikini with that phantom guy moving around so much. I wish he'd get lost." Some rude and hormonal random guy thoughtlessly said, as he tried to get a picture of Desiree with his cellphone.
"An excellent idea." Desiree raised her arms as her hands glowed.
The ghost boy rushed forward with a mix of nervousness and anger as he fired a concentrated ectoblast. One shot of pure ice would freeze her spell.
"So you have wished it—done!"
Danny disappeared, finding the mall gone, replaced with miles of desert. The scorching sun blinded him as he looked around, the last thing he saw was Desiree's cocky face.
"What the heck?" Danny cried out.
Jen searched the mall for her boyfriend, wondering where he went off too. No one in the food court saw him, which lead her to Chocaholics Anonymous, the only chocolate shop on the mall worth buying sweets from.
Describing the store was simple: wall-to-wall chocolate like it was building a house, only no furniture.
"Have you guys seen a cute boy, this tall, with black hair and icy blue eyes?" Jen asked the overweight cashier, waiting for the latter to finish a five-pound bar of chocolate.
The same answer was given as she resumed her search, ignorant of the ghostly rampage happening now as Desiree flew around granting twisted wishes. Or that was supposed to be the idea.
The genie ghost hugged her chest as she phased into a random store, adjusting her top as she peered from her hiding spot. Her red face returned to a healthy green glow as she remained invisible from a corner.
"Note to self, don't ask boys with hungry eyes what they wish for," Desiree said to herself, eyeing the highly unnecessary growth on her body. Her stomach popped out like a balloon, almost like she overate at a hundred feasts. Her hips had widened to comical levels, looking more like an overpacked suitcase than a posterior. "Though I wonder how they would think this is attractive."
A snap of her fingers, and Desiree was back to her hourglass shape, sighing in relief. Perverted or not, she still received the power boost she wanted, making the temporary disfigurement worth it.
"Now, let's see if I can have a little extra fun," Desiree peered at Jen, who was asking around.
"Where the heck is Danny?!" Jen cried out, gritting her teeth in frustration. Her foot stomped to a furious beat as she sat down at the Lemon with her friends.
"Did he say where he was going?" Nikki asked.
"He said he was going to get me some chocolate, but when I checked the stores, none of them saw him!" Jen snapped, scaring the others.
"Easy there, She-Hulk, you're not at court." Nikki pushed her hands, gesturing to settle down. "Maybe something happened like he couldn't find the store."
"Does he even know where they are?" Wyatt asked.
Jen sighed, her breath reading her frustration as she laid back. The others relaxed, glad their friend was calming down, if not for their own safety. But that was not earning the ghost boy any favors.
"I just wish...I'd have a clue or something," Jen sighed, taking a sip of lemonade provided by Caitlin, unaware of Desiree, nearby.
The genie ghost pondered for a moment. A clue? Well, I don't know how, but this might be worth the risk...just how would I do this? She thought to herself. Humming to herself, she forgot about how she was not invisible, floating in plain sight.
Jonesy spat out his drink, staring at the voluptuous ghost. "It's the hot, hot ghost!" He slammed a fist on the table as he stood up, pointing at Desiree.
Jen directed her angry at the boy as the soda dropped from her hair and face. Her dull expression showed how she had enough as Nikki slapped her face.
Jude joined in with the lecherous staring, but Wyatt wore a perplexed face as he took a long sip of coffee.
"Uh...why is she standing...floating there?" Wyatt asked.
"Maybe she looking for something," Jude commented.
A snap of her fingers and Danny Fenton magically appeared, falling out of the air, sweating like a dog as he picked himself up and wiped himself with a sleeve. The cool air of the mall reinvigorated him as he now noticed he was back at the mall.
"You? What I outta—" Danny stopped, noticing his ungloved human hand in front of his face.
She changed me back!? This can't be good. He thought.
"Danny?" Jen stood up from behind as the ghost boy jumped.
And this is worse. Danny turned to Jen, allowing Desiree to go unnoticed as she watched the scene unfold. The others soon left, except for Jonesy, who had to be pulled away by Nikki. They had a feeling the situation was out of their league, and someone needed to find Ron the rent-a-cop.
"I can't believe that you would side with them," Jen said, looking upset.
Danny glanced as Desiree and then to Jen. He wanted to fix things, but he needed to go back and transform. However, his girlfriend's grip on his arm prevented him any chances, leaving him at fate's mercy.
"I'm not siding with anyone, Jen. Geez, look...I know you mean well and you bring up good points, but sometimes you tend to act like you know everything," Danny said.
"If that's how you feel, then you didn't have to come visit!" Jen said scornfully.
"I didn't coke here, you wished me here!" Danny pointed to Desiree, who was enjoying the show.
"I really should take some time to enjoy my work," Desiree said. She floated to another position, laying down like she was on a couch with her hands popping up her face.
"You know what!? I wish you'd go home already!" Jen said as she marched away angrily.
Danny saw this and sighed.
"Way to go Fenton, you managed to really peeve off your girlfriend. I better go apologize," Danny said.
Unfortunately, what Jen said was a wish and Desiree overheard. With her usual chant, the ghost boy was enveloped in a ghostly aura.
"Are you kidding me?!" Danny exclaimed as a flash of light came. He disappeared from the mall, arriving back at Amity Park, where his folks were more than relieved to see him.
No sooner than that, Jen was back at her seat at the Lemon and felt bad. Reality came crashing down like a comet, something her head copied as it hit the table, again.
"Wait to go, Masterson. You just managed to argue with your boyfriend, who's only here because of your dumb wish!...I better go apologize," She said, feeling bad for how she treated Danny.
She tried to find him and apologize. To her surprise, he was gone, having forgotten her actions.
"Where did he go?" She asked, looking upset and that's when she saw Desiree. An innocent face came from the genie as she shrugged.
"Oh crap!" Jen's yell echoed in the mall.
"You did wish it," Desiree teased. She flew over, her ghostly tail trailing in the air as it wrapped around Jen. The cuada became snake-like as it tightened around the girl. "And now, I'm wondering what I should wish for..." she hummed, tapping her chin with a finger.
"Ugh!" Jen yelled, pushing against the ghost's strength with all her might. "This stinks!"
Desiree hummed, still in her head. She now had all the trike she needed and the ghost boy was nowhere near her, there was no way her afterlife couldn't get any better.
"I wish you went back home and all your stupid, stupid wishes here never happened!" Jen yelled.
"So you have wished it, so shall—what!?"
In a flash, Desiree disappeared along with all the wishes she had granted. Toys became limp with death as any other transformations disappeared. Stanley found his bones unbroken, much to his mother's relief, and the noodle girl became solid once more, getting out of an emergency stretcher.
Jen stood where she was, angrier than ever but sad. Having seen the outburst, her friends came to comfort her as the redhead wished Danny was back, something the ghost boy was sharing. Arriving back at home, the now disheartened boy sulked in his room. Jen filled his head as he wondered how to talk to her about this.
But it wouldn't be days until the two managed to sort out their feelings.
Danny was sulking one Saturday morning, playing with his cereal. His family watched as he poked with his spoon, barely touching the sugary breakfast.
His parents and sister were concern, watching him chew slowly. They were happy to have him back, but seeing this sad was worse.
"You okay, son?" Jack asked.
"Depends, you ever had an fight with your girlfriend that might have ruined your love life," Danny muttered, not even looking away from his food.
The truth is, he and Jen are still mad at each other, and she is still giving him the cold shoulder. They haven't talked since the fight.
The ghost boy continued with his sulking throughout breakfast. Nothing fazed him, his parents and sister spending the day to cheer him up.
Danny wasn't the only one sulking. Jen was also in a bad mood, and her friends noticed as they hung out at their usual spot.
"Uh...Jen...are you okay?..."Caitlin asked from the behind the counter while her friend sobbed on the table.
"Does it look like I'm ok?!" Jen cried, tilting her head to the side. Her face was smudged against the hard surface, making her look worse.
Her friends were worried about her, even Jude could barely contain his mellow. They knew that she had a spat with Danny, and they still seem to be giving each other the cold shoulder. Not even winning the bet gave the redhead any console.
"Why don't you guys apologize already? It's been a day. That shoulda been plenty of time to cool off." Nikki placed a salad ij front of her friend, knowing she needed to eat.
Jen sighed, as she poked at her food. Her friends decided to let her be, giving her some space. Not to mention they all needed to go to their shifts. Only Caitlin stayed, watching over from her post at the Lemon. Jen was still off shift right now, and she kept sulking.
The looney redhead picked at the veggies. She knew she and Danny needed to talk, but what do you say to someone you literally wished away? Most fights would end with harsh words, but never supernatural powers.
Being a teenager was tough enough, she did not need the extra problem of ghosts interfering. But this was slowly becoming her life, whether or not she knew or cared.
"Is everything alright?"
Jen looked up to see a girl no more than ten years old. She had black hair and blue eyes with the kindest smile, full of innocence.
Her face messy with tears, Jen wiped with her arm as she sat up straight. Her back slouched against the chair and soon tears flowed again.
The entire day felt like a wreck. Sure she managed to break sales again, but her heart was too empty to enjoy the moment.
"I'm gonna just assume everything is not alright," the little girl went on to say as she took a seat next to the red head. A large bag holding Wonder Taco and Burger McFlipsters was set in the table and spread out.
Teenage drama was paused as the little girl put down two two-pattied burgers with the world, three large fries, the biggest taco ever seen so far, and some coleslaw.
"Wow...are you sure you can eat that?" Jen rubbed her eyes in disbelief. This might have been a hallucination from her emotional turmoil, but there was certainly not the case as she food was smelled from all across the mall.
"You mean this snack? It's fine. Food helps me out." The girl took one of the burger and began chowing down. The fact it was almost as tall as her head did not bother her in the least.
Jen stared as the girl consumed the food with no hassle, wondering if she was out of her mind as the second burger was being eaten.
"And I thought Jude and Jonesy were big eaters..."She thought, as the little girl continued to stuff her face with all that food.
Her friends were also taken back by what they were seeing, they were surprised to see such a little girl eat so much.
"Is that kid eating a Golden Suprema, the biggest, grande-I-est taco at Wonder Taco, in one go?!" Jude held his a hat. The others gasped as they watched a tiny girl consume the food like it was nothing.
It was only seconds as the mixed beef, chicken, jalapeños, cheese, lettuce, grilled onions, and various spices were devoured through their tortilla shell like it was nothing. Jonesy applauded as Nikki laughed.
Jude held the girl up in pride. "That was awesome!" He cried out.
"Thanks!" The girl said, before letting out a little burp.
"Whoops, excuse me," She said sheepishly, as she wiped her mouth with her sleeve.
"Eh, no problem. What's your name?" Nikki asked.
"The name is Dani, with an I."
Hearing that name, the majority gasped as they looked at Jen. Their favorite redhead gasped before going back into a crying fit as she slammed her head not the table.
Dani saw this and was surprised, while Jen's friends cringed.
"Was it something I said?" Dani asked.
"It's not your fault, mini-dudette. Jen here is just upset her boyfriend and her had a big fight. You see, she's dating some dude in Amity Park named Danny, and...well...she wished him away...because of some super hot ghost genie," Jude said, wanting to make sure that the kid didn't misundestand the situaiton.
Dani blinked when she heard this. She lifted some hair off the h table, staring at Jen's crying face. The two girl made eye contact as the former gave a sad look.
"What happened?" The little girl asked.
"It's like Jude said, I wished him away!" Jen cried, raising her head with her tone at the end, too distraught to even care that she was basically confessing her troubles to a kid.
"Ouch," Dani hissed between her teeth.
"Look, I'm just a kid and I usually don't try sticking my nose into other people's business...but if you really like the guy and he likes you, why don't you try to make things right...maybe invite him to something."
Dani slurped down the remains of a soda she had. The sound of its remained emptied echoed loudly. Shaking the cup, she got up.
"I gotta go get a re-fill...Just think about what I said..."Danielle said, before leaving to get another soda.
As she walked away, Jen considered what she just said.
Danny hunched over at his desk, finally finished with homework. The makeshift ball and chain that was his backpack, spilled over as he stuffed his books and papers inside, groaning at the fact he still had midterms to study for. His parent's expectations meant he had to get A, or in his father's case, B minuses.
The clock on his wall ticked and tocked, taunting him like a certain crocodile from a fairy tale. It's face almost threatening, if not for the fact the ghost boy knew it was inanimate, only paying attention to kill time, ironically.
"This stinks," He muttered, hating every moment of this. His chin rested on the papers, ignoring their importance as he sulked. His phone buzzed, but that was always pushed away, only picking it up due to the constant noise it generated.
He wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. However, when he checked the caller ID, he gasped.
"Jen?!" He exclaimed and nearly dropped his phone in shock and relief, answering quickly.
"H-hey, Jen. I thought you'd never want to see me again," He said..
"Hey, Danny...yeah...I might have wanted that then, but that was only for a second, half a second at least." Jen's voice was shaky, which made the ghost kid feel guilt building up.
"And...how do you feel about it now?" Danny asked.
Jen sighed on her end, before continuing.
"Look...we...said some things, but...I wanna make things right. I don't want to end things between us." It was hidden well, but the girl could not completely mask her sorrow. The ghost boy was certain she had a few tears falling.
"Same here." Danny leaned into the phone.
"I was thinking...if you were okay with it, maybe you'd wanna come out here for Christmas," She suggested, holding her breath as she awaited an answer.
Danny didn't need a moment to process, stating his confirmation and joy to see Jen again. After the call, he hollered in joy, racing downstairs to inform his family, who were already aware of his news.
Nobody noticed a bug, buzzing around the room with red eyes.
With Danny and Jen on rocky roads, I figured a little holiday joy would be the cure. Too bad life is not always that simple. Anyway, keep an eye out for the next chapter, which will come out before Christmas.
Special thanks to Flower Princess11 for all her help!
Special Thanks! to Jay The Average Fanboy for all his help!
Thank you all for leaving a review:
Invader Johnny: I didn't want things to go predictably.
RonaldM40196867: Stress. Not really. That skater boy who harsher Jude's mellow for a competition, don't care much for his name.
Jenest4781: Thanks!
danifan3000: In a way yes, but more in that later. Due to how real life production will be replicated, Danny won't see Gwen's underwear before they officially go steady. As for the skirt thing, it's Heather embarrassing Gwen and won't be brought up much, but that's my take.
Guest1: That's next chapter.
Jay The Average Fanboy: Caitlin's father works at a Le firm, given a statement from the original show, and her mother is still undecided. Totaldramarama is to be used for some reference in Gwen's background. Possibly.
Guest2(and 3?): I don't get what you're trying to say, but a relationship needs balance.
