"I believe I've taught you everything I can, you guys are far stronger than you were when you first started. Y'all make a teacher very proud." said the aura guardian known as Riley, as he walked over to his two students and placed his hand on both of their shoulders as they bowed towards him. "Thank you sir!" the students said in unison as their pokemon bowed behind them.
"We appreciate the training you gave us over the years Riley, we promised to make you proud. That's a promise." said a raven-hair male trainer known as Ash Ketchum. "pikachu." pikachu agreed on his shoulder.
"Ash is right teacher, we will take the world by storm!" added a blonde haired female trainer named Korrina, with her lucario nearby, hers nodded in agreement. Riley is an aura guardian who was training Ash to master his aura, and on Ash's journey he met Korrina and challenged her gym. A few months later after his journey in Kalos, he went back home to Pallet town in the Kanto region he had a falling out with the majority of his friends and reunited with the former blonde gym leader.
*Flashback.
Ash and pikachu were walking back to the house after his recent travels through Kalos excited to see everyone and all his pokemon. But first comes his mom, Delia Ketchum.
When Ash made it to the house and stepped inside it was quiet for a while. "Hello mom! I'm home!" the raven-hair trainer called.
"Ash! Is that you?" a voice called out from the kitchen, in a second later a brunette woman in her mid thirties came rushing to ash and giving a bear hug that would put a ursaring to shame. "Honey I miss you! How was your journey? Are you hungry? Did you change your underwear?" Delia asked bombarding her son with a lot of questions.
"Mom! Can't breath."
"Sorry Ash, I just miss you so much." Delia said, releasing Ash from the bear hug. "So Ash how was your journey through Kalos?" She asked him while they both walked into the kitchen.
"It was great, I got second place and caught a lot of Pokémon." Ash answered sitting at the table.
"Anything else dear?" Delia asked while taking out some food, getting ready to make lunch for Ash and herself as her son continued to speak.
"I made some new friends as well, there's Clemont and Bonnie. They live in Lumiose city and get this, Clemont is a gym leader, plus an inventor as well." Ash said as his mom smiled at her over excited son. " and there's Serena…." Ash paused for a minute then he remembered what Serena did with him before she left causing him to blush.
"Ash, Ash? Are you ok sweetie?" Ash snapped out of then glanced at his mom who had a worried look for a second then gavea smirk putting her hand on her lip. "Ash were you thinking about Serena, your face is as red as a tamato berry." Ash shook his head
"It's nothing mom, anyway me and Pikachu are going to the lab to visit the professor and my Pokemon to see how they are doing." Ash said to his mother.
"Alright hun, the food will be done by the time you get back and say hello to professor Oak for me." Delia said. Ash gave her a nod and left out the door. Ash and pikachu made their way to the lab. When he approached the lab he heard a lot of noise going on inside, Ash then stormed inside just to see a group of his friends on one side of the room and to his surprise, Paul was on the other, he then decided to end whatever this was. "Hey what's going here?!" Ash yelled, grabbing the attention of all his friends which he succeeded in doing.
"Ash, do not listen to these guys, they lost it. Get out of here before you get hurt!" Paul said to Ash which confused him. Gary then approached the raven-hair trainer.
"Ashy-boy we've been friends since we were kids and we always looked out for each other?" Gary asked his childhood friend which he Ash answered with a nod.
"YOUR HIS FRIEND?! Don't lie to yourself, what you're planning to do is something a FRIEND don't to another friend." Paul said with anger while glaring at Gary.
"What are you talking about Paul?" Ash asked but before the purple hair could reply Misty approached Ash and held his hand in hers.
"Ash you know we all care about you right?" Misty asked the raven-hair trainer.
"Of course Misty, I care about you as well." Ash responded with a smile.
"I'm glad to hear that, because we need to talk to you about something important." she continued.
"Ash!" Paul called "These people you call your friends, want you to give up your dream!" Paul stated. Once Ash heard those he turned to his friends. With a saddened look hoping what he heard was wrong. May decided to walk up to Ash this time with Drew.
"Listen Ash we are just worried that's all, you keep traveling around the world but you are not any closer. What if you end up nowhere?" the sapphire eye brunette said.
"Listen Ketchum, we might not be friends, but I'll admit you're strong. That said, May is right, you need to give up, you're just not cut out for it." the green-hair co-ordinator said.
"Shut-up all of you. Ash has more than enough skills to accomplish his dream and he has proven that many times." Paul stated. Iris then stepped up.
"Listen Ash, you need to stop being a little kid and accept our help." Iris stated, putting her hands on her hips.
"If you say one more word little girl, my weavil will have a new scratching post." Paul said glaring at Iris causing her to shiver at the thought of an ice type Pokemon scratching at her. Cilan went to stand by Iris.
"How dare you, who are you to threaten.." Cilan started but paused when the lab door opened up revealing a honey-blonde girl around the same age As Ash walking through the door. Before she could say anything she turned to see Ash right in front of her, she then let out a squeal and embraced him in a tight hug.
"Serena is that you?" Ash asked in surprise.
"Ash it's good to see you I was wondering.." Serena said before looking at Ash's eyes and saw he was crying. "Oh my gosh Ash what's wrong?"
"Um excuse me but who are you?" Dawn asked the new girl that was embracing Ash.
"Oh I'm sorry my name is Serena and I'm.." but before she could finish, she felt Ash grab her hand. She turned to see him shaking his head. "Ash what's going on I've never seen you this upset before?" she asked her crush.
"I'll tell you." Paul said "Everyone here doesn't believe Ash can accomplish his dream and think he should give up on becoming a Pokemon Master." Paul said, answering the girl. Serena then faced Ash's old traveling companions and you can tell by looking in her eyes that she had a glare that can scare a rayquaza.
"How can you say that to him? Aren't you guys the same people he talked about that traveled with him on his journey? The ones who always supported him from thick and thin? Serena stated.
"What are you talking about, you just met Ash in Kalos and you don't even know us." Misty said glaring back at the honey-blonde.
"For your information I've known Ash for years we met when we were kids and I know about you Misty Waterflower. Ash talked a lot about you saying you're trying to become the best water Pokemon trainer. He told me he knows you got what it takes and he'll always support you." She told the orange hair trainer, she then turned to May and Dawn.
"I know you as well May and Dawn. Ash had so much to say about you two." Serena said, causing both the female co-ordinator to blush a bit. "May he said he loved how your heart grew from hating Pokemon to loving them, you put others before you and mother you Pokemon with great care, plus he also love how you can eat as much as him." Serena finishes before looking at Dawn. "And Dawn was so happy to have traveled with you, he told me you were so supportive of him throughout your journey, he couldn't reach as far as he did without you. You dressed as a cheerleader to cheer for him, you guys made a technique called the counter shield and most of all, you're the first person he ever traded Pokemon with." Serena yelled in anger before looking at the rest of the group. " Gary said he always looked up to you and thought you were the smartest person in the world, Cilan he likes your positive outlook on everything and Iris he loves how adventurous you are and how you pamper your axel while inspiring to be a dragon master. He told me so many good things about you, supported you dreams, saved your lives and this is how you repay him?" Serena finished.
Ash was surprised by everything Serena said but then snapped out of it when he heard Max called his name. "Ash, listen you are a great trainer, but to be honest I think it is time you just give up. You're just too weak, I know it's hard to hear but face reality. They're so many trainers in the world. What are the odds of you becoming the best? Just give up."
Ash looked at Max with both tears and confusion in his eyes, he was looking at the young boy who admired Ash as an older brother but is now doubting him as well. Ash clenched his fist in anger, he had nothing else to say, he felt broken. Only to people in the whole room believed in him or so thought until he felt someone grab his hand, he was surprised to see it was May. He was about to snatch his hand away until he looked into her eyes, feeling the look of determination.
"Ash, do you really believe you will become a Pokemon master one day?" she asked the raven-hair trainer.
"Yes I do May, I will never give up no matter what, after all it's my dream." Ash responded. May looked at Ash with admiration then gave him a small smile.
"Then would it be alright if I travel with you?" the brunette asked, surprising everyone in the room.
"May! What are you doing?" Drew asked the hoenn coordinator but he was ignored.
"Why May? I thought you didn't believe in me anymore." Ash asked.
"I never stopped believing in you Ash," May said, grabbing his other hand before continuing, "I'm just scared of losing you, I heard what you did in Kalos. You'd jump off a tower to save pikachu. Do you realise how scared I was? I'm sorry for earlier Ash, but I want you to know I'm behind you all the way." May finished pulling ash closer to him pecking him on the cheek.
"Sis you should really think about what you're doing, Ash is just gonna hold you back. You know dad is not going to like this. You should hang out with Gary or Drew if you want to get bett-... Max had shut up immediately when he saw the glare his sister was giving him. What made it worse was that Paul and Serena were giving him the same glare.
"I don't care what dad, mom, or you guys say I've made up my mind I'm going with Ash, end of discussion." May said clinging to Ash. Ash smiled at May affection then out of instincts grabbed Serena's hand and gave Paul a glance.
"Fine believe what you want, I don't need you guys. If you doubt me that's your loss." He then left the lab with Serena, May, and Paul behind him. As he was walking he stopped and turned to face the three. "would you three like to travel with me? I know of a way we can become very strong. You might have to take a break from your goals and I can't promise you it's a safe method." Ash asked the three hoping for a positive answer. They were surprised by the question for a second but were quick to answer with Paul going first.
"Ash we might not have been the best of friends back in Sinnoh, but I've devoted myself to stick by your side and support you as a friend, as a brother. You've changed me from the ruthless tyrant to the trainer I am today, so if you if you can put up with me I'll stick around with you, " said Paul while smirking
"Ash I already told you that my greatest fear is losing you, of course I'm going to stick by your side no matter what, you taught me to love Pokemon, you helped me realize my dream and become the coordinator that I am today. I will always be with you, and if that means jumping off a roof with you, then so be it. I'll always be here because I love you." May said, causing Ash to blush. Serena approached and grabbed his hands and held it in her own.
"Ash I always wanted to be with you, as I told you before I started my journey to see you again and ever since we traveled together my feelings for you grew. you'd shown me I could be whatever I want besides a rhyhorn racer. You believed in me, you're selfless, you'd risk your life for many others and best of all you were there for me. And I will be there for you when you accomplish your dream." Serena before looking at May and giving her a nod. She then walked to his right side and May to his left. They both surprised Ash by kissing him on the cheek causing the raven-haired trainer to blush furiously, and Paul to chuckle a bit.
"Sometimes I envy you Ash." replied Paul. Ash then looked at Paul, Serena, and May. "But where exactly are we going to travel to?"
"I was planning on becoming a champion of one of the regions in order to show everyone else that they were wrong about me. I don't know where I should travel though, do you guys have any idea?" asked the raven-haired trainer.
All four of them were staring intensely without any clues, Serena then spoke up to the group "If no one has any suggestions then may I recommend Kalos, I think you can win the Kalos league Ash and I would love to accomplish my goal of becoming Kalos queen."
Paul then looked at Serena with a confused expression. "Um excuse you, Ash isn't the only trainer here, how don't you know that I will win the Kalos league after all I haven't given it a try yet."
"Oh in your dreams Paul," Ash replied to his rival. "How about we make a deal, whichever one of us becomes champion the other has to work under them as one of the elite four."
"Deal, but just a fair warning I'm going to work you to death." Paul replied.
May then stepped between the two arguing trainers. "Okay can you cut it out before this turns into a real battle. If both of you plan on being champions, who are the other three members going to be for the elite four."
"Well I got a suggestion or two if it helps." Serena said stepping in, "Why not Korrina and Clemont Ash? They're both gym leaders and plus Korrina has a mega evolution pokemon." she added.
Ash was surprised at first then hugged Serena causing her to blush. "Serena you're a genius but we're still gonna need one." He said until.
"There you are Ash!" a voice said from behind the group. "I was on my way to visit since you never visit." the voice finished. Ash turned around and to his shock he saw a lavender hair trainer staring at him with a smile.
"Anabel!" Ash and May said in unison before rush in to give her a double ursaring hug. Serena was confused by the arrival of the new girl but Paul recognized her through her name.
"So you're the battle maiden I presume." Asked the Sinnoh trainer.
"Yeah that's right anyway what are you doing out here anyway?" questioned Anabel separating herself from Ash and May. But before Ash can answer, May grabbed Anabel's hands and turned to Ash.
"Ash she might be what we're looking for!" the coordinator exclaimed. It took awhile for Ash to understand what she meant until it hit him.
"It looks like we have two genius here," Ash said before giving May a hug causing her to blush with a small smirk, he then turned to Anabel. "Anabel I need your help!" Ash said, he then started to explain the events that went on before her arrival. When the battle maiden heard everything she was sad, surprised and most of all angry. After Ash was done explaining she decided to go with her crush.
"Ash of course I'll help you and just for the record if we're being honest I kinda have the same feelings towards you as those two," the battle maiden said referring to May and Serena.
"Wow I-I don't know what to say, except for thank you." replied Ash
Paul then approached Ash. "Ash if we want to reach the top then I think we should each have a few mega evolution pokemons. Serena already mentioned that you know some girl named Korrina back in Kalos that has a mega evolution Pokemon, do any of you have any Pokemon that can mega evolve?"
May then stated, "I think my blaziken and venusaur can."
Ash then followed, "Yeah and I have a couple that could. As for catching Pokemon that can mega evolve, we'll discuss that back in Kalos when we go pick up Korrina and Clemont. And I also need to look for someone after we find them"
Our story continues 1 years after the young trainers departed on their journey. Ash and his team have recruited Clement, Bonnie and Korrina and explained their trainers then went through Hoenn and picked up Zoey out of Paul's request before heading to Sinnoh. The team of trainers decided to catch a few more Pokemon, The team then met up with Riley in Sinnoh and left for mount silver for one year of training. We now meet up with our trainers here.

"Now let's go check on everyone else's training, I'm sure they should be done by now." Riley said. Ash and Korrina nodded and decided to walk on to the other side to check on their friends training. After a few minutes of walking they spotted two purple haired trainers meditating with purple auras around them. They both stopped the training to see the two aura guardians approach them.
"Are you guys ready to get the show on the road?" Korrina asked the two psychics.
"I believe we are, what do you say Paul and I must say I'm surprised you were able to become a psychic." Anabel said, causing Paul to grin in confidence.
"Well what can I say my brother is not the only talented one." Paul said causing Ash to smirk.
"Now all we're missing is Clemont and the girls, come on they should be in the cave." Ash said leading the group to a small cave down the hill from their location. Inside they can see Clemont, Bonnie, May and Serena doing some physical training while wearing training weights. Clemont and Bonnie were running laps around the cave, Serena was doing rock climbing, and May was doing wall hops and push-ups.
"This looks like fun, I want to get in on the action." Korrina said with excitement.
"We don't have time for this Korrina. You, Anabel, Ash and I are already done with our physical training, remember." Paul said.
"My brother's right Korrina we have to get going soon," Ash stated disappointing the Blonde girl, "Hey guys, it's time!" Ash yelled, Clemont and Bonnie heard the call and stopped running and approached the group.
"Hey guys, I guess it's time to go, huh? Clemont said with Bonnie by his side.
"Big brother Ash, you think I'm good enough to be a great trainer like you." Bonnie said with a smile.
"Of course Bonnie I know you're ready." Ash answered, but then he noticed Serena and May still training. "I guess they didn't hear me, let me try this." Ash said before he put his hands over his mouth making a horn. "Oh, I'm so sad, I sure do miss my beautiful May and gorgeous Serena!" when he said that May and Serena paused then turned to Ash with blushing smiles on their faces they then ran up to him and tackled him to the ground in a loving embrace.
Paul smirked at his brothers while the two girls nearly strangled Ash, he then looked up and saw Zoey doing pull-ups in the cave. "HEY RED, It's time to go!" Paul shouted to the red haired girl.
"No need to shout hunk, I'm coming." Zoey replied to her purple haired boyfriend. Zoey jumped down to greet the rest of the group. Zoey then turned to Serena and May "are you two done with him, we have to get going." Serena and May then got off of Ash who was now covered in kiss marks all over his face.
"Aww come on Zoey, you don't need to stop our fun just because we have the better looking boyfriend." May said with a smirk on her face.
Zoey then replied "Hey I'm perfectly fine with Paul just the way he is, even if he is a little unattractive." Zoey's smart remark caused Paul to grumble a little.
"What is that supposed to mean?" the purple haired trainer asked.
Korrina and Anabel broke out in laughter and decided to tease Ash a bit. "Remember Ash you belong to us as well," Anabel said before her and Korrina proceeded to kiss Ash on the cheek. "well anyways it's time for us to leave. We have a handful of regional leagues to win."
Riley greeted the young trainers off. "Good luck to you lot, I wish you all the best of luck." With that the gang departed from the mountain.
