I don't own the 100 or the characters. This is for fun only! It is my first attempt at a fanfic in a while. This is a time travel fix it fic.
Chapter 1
Clarke looked at the anomaly in front of her, the swirling green storm, iridescence and blinding. It looked dangerous but it called to her. She could feel it. It vibrated in a way that made her bones feel unstable. Every hair on her body stood on end, as if an electric current was passing over them. Charging her curiosity and her anxiety . Although she wouldn't admit it, she was scared.
Everything inside of her screamed at her to run from the anomaly in front of her, and yet she felt pulled towards it. So much so that she didn't realise she was reaching out to touch it until her hand passed in front of her eyes through the veil in front of her. It felt like hot smoke around her fingers, and as she twisted her hand, it danced like the way light glints off the water and to make a rainbow.
Then she saw her. Leksa. Holding out her hand and smiling, that smile saved only for her. Clarke could no longer resist. With what was behind her, everything she sacrificed. Everything she'd fought for. Everything she'd done. She took a deep breath and started walking forward.
As she walked through the lights, they bounced off banks of smoke, creating high swirling walls around her. She started to her whispers of voices, not just Lexa's but everyone who had died in her life and then glimpses of pictures as she walked further.
She saw the day she saw Maddy in the valley for the first time. The rocket leaving earth with her friends inside. The impending death wave. The fight for the bunker.
And faster and faster, the images sped past her. Allie and the city of light. Pike rilling up the ark. Ontari and the deaths of the noviciate.
Lexa's death. The love in her eyes and the light faded from them. Her whispered promise that the next commander would protect her. Then she saw their night together and the look of devotion from lexa.
Lexa bowing to her. Becoming the 13th clan. The fight with Nia. Being alone in the wilderness.
Mount weather.
Leska's betrayal, her voice
"I made this decision with my head, not my heart, Klarke."
The faces of her dead.
The drop ship landing.
Finally, the image settled to her cell in confinement. The pictures she drew on the walls began to vanish, but the room remained.
The smoke began to clear, and she found herself standing in her cell. The hum of the anomaly gone, but replaced by the familiar hum of the ark.
