A/N: So I spent my entire winter break re-watching Dragonball/Z/GT and I fell in love with the series all over again. Which is why I ignored the rest of my fics in progress. ^^;
And now that I'm depressed that it's over, what better way to express my emotions than write about them? And so I'm writing this. Besides, it had to be written. The idea practically begged me on all fours and so I had to oblige. More importantly, because my friend and I are doing a Dragon Ball collab. I'll be writing out scenes/stories and she'll be drawing them out. So look out for her work! (I'll add a link when she's done).

Kids Say The Darndest Things

It had been almost a year since Gohan had gotten married and moved out to a more appropriate place in the city, and although Goten had visited the couple fervently at first, his new training regime with Goku had meant staying within the boundaries of an isolated island for a good three months. However, now that the training was over and Goten had achieved the level of super saiyan two at the unprecedented age of nine, he decided that it was time to pay his favourite older brother a visit to tell him the good news.

He was ecstatic to see his brother again, and began to eagerly tell him all about his training as he was led inside.

"And do you have any food at home, Gohan? I'm really, really, really hungry!" he declared excitedly, bouncing on his brother's table, knocking over several books in the process. Gohan made a mental note to call a carpenter to fix the damage Goten was unknowingly doing.

"What's all that noise?" asked Videl as she appeared from behind a door. A smile appeared on her face as she spotted her energetic young brother-in-law. "Oh. Hi, Goten," she greeted him fondly. "How was training?"

"Great!" Goten told her enthusiastically, his arms spread wide as he went into details about his accomplishments. Videl and Gohan listened contently until Goten suddenly paused mid-sentence. He hopped off Gohan's study table - which now sported several large cracks - and stood in front of Videl, placing a finger on his lip as he examined her.

"Gosh, Videl," he said finally. "You've gotten really fat since you stopped fighting," he commented, referring to the size of her inflated stomach. Not noticing the woman's frown upon hearing the word 'fat', Goten continued with vigor. "You used to be this thin!" he demonstrated with his hands.

Gohan visibly sweat-dropped, fearing Videl's hormonal reactions to the statement. He scratched his head momentarily, trying to recall how his mother had explained the concept of pregnancy to him almost an entire decade ago. Before Videl's eyes could narrow any further, he leaned down and explained to his younger sibling, "Uh, sport, it's not that she's fat, it's just that your niece is in her tummy right now."

Goten's eyes widened as he looked from Gohan to Videl in disbelief. Concluding that Gohan was serious, Goten visibly paled, and yelled so loudly that he could have sent the poor pregnant girl into premature labour.

"WHAT?" he cried, looking completely horrified as he pointed an accusing finger at his sister-in-law. "YOU ATE YOUR OWN CHILD?"
