Hunter sits at the control panel of the Havoc Marauder as they approach Agamar, the only light coming from the craft or the blue glow of Hyperspace. His enhanced senses tasted and heard every little groan of the Ship and the cold metal on his boots. The comfort was nothing to write home about, but it worked. He noticed the Ship was due a clean, even if the other Batchers did not. They were on their way to a Separatist planet during the Clone wars, sent by Cid to collect a super weapon with a big payday.
Turning to his crew, Hunter stated, "Alright, everyone, this is an infiltration mission. That means stealth, so no smashing things''.
Wrecker groaned, "Oh man, I want to smash some droids."
"That would ruin the stealth element of this mission. And you are carrying the weapon." Tech replied from the pilot seat.
Echo added, "Don't drop it, please."
"How can I help?" Omega asked.
Echo replied, "You may be small enough to fit into any ventilation shafts needed to bypass any ray-shielded doors."
"Stay close, alright? We do not know if the battle Droids are still active," Hunter replied.
"There was a signal sent out at the end of the Clone Wars that disabled all Battle Droids. Unless someone has found a way to get around that signal, we will be fine," Tech stated.
Hunter nodded. Echo responded, "I hope you are right, Tech."
"Time to strap in. We are here." Tech added. Hunter straps in, uneasy about bringing Omega along. She has been lucky so far, but eventually, that luck will run out.
They saw the planet, a rocky, barren orb floating in a sea of black.
"Scans indicate not much activity on the surface. We are going to be fine," Tech stated as the Havoc Marauder entered the atmosphere. After a short while, they landed.
When they landed, the surface was rocky, though covered by dirt. It was temperate, the yellow star floating overhead.
Although the place looked barren and rocky, Hunter could tell that life existed there. He could taste and smell the planets and animals in the areas, rare as they both are. A gentle breeze wafted.
"Let us move out," Hunter called to the rest of the crew as they descended the Ship, and they made their way towards the Base, Hunter tracking the footprints of many Battle Droids that had passed through the area.
Their progress stopped when they neared the Base. They saw a ray shield covering it.
"Rats, ray shields," Hunter said.
"That is going to slow us down, and there are unusual electrical signals inside," Tech stated. Hunter turned to Tech, and though he could not see his face through the helmet, he could tell Hunter was alarmed.
Echo pointed, "We have no choice but to use Omega, Hunter. If we can not bypass the shield, we might as well go home."
Hunter sighed, then replied, "Alright, see if we can find a ventilation shaft or something Omega can fit in, so she can get in and open the door". The rest of the team nodded, and they went looking.
They did not have to look long before Echo called, "Found it, Omega, get over here," and Omega headed for Echo.
"Here we go, kid," Echo said to Omega as he pulled the grate off. Omega nodded, then climbed in. It was a tighter fit than she had expected, showing that she had grown considerably over the past few months, but she managed to fit inside.
She found a hatch but struggled to get into position to climb down it. She eventually moves past the hatch, kicks it open with her legs, climbs down to the ground,
Omega finds the switch but notes that the lever is bound. Checking the type of switch, Omega recalls Tech deactivating similar levers. She uses that knowledge to deactivate this one, allowing her brothers access to the Base.
"Good work, Omega," Hunter said as they entered.
Omega replied, "Thanks, Hunter."
The Batch made their way into the Base, the air turned slightly stale, and both dried and warmed relative to the outside. The Base lit up with lights stuck to the ceiling. There was a scent of metal in the air, which Hunter both tasted and smelt. The mechanical finish to the Base is clear, but Hunter also detects a subtle hum. A hum he recognises as those made by various electrical appliances.
As the Batch continued, they spotted what looked like decommissioned Battle Droids inside rooms branching off the path. The strange noise was coming from the rooms, which unsettled everyone.
Hunter enquired to Tech, "Are they decommissioned, Tech?"
"I cannot guarantee that someone has not recommissioned them, but the odds of that are unlikely," Tech stated, trying to reassure Hunter.
"I hope you are right," Hunter replied, his sense of unease starting to creep into the others, including Tech.
They soon come across a big door with no obvious way to open it.
"We have got to get past it. The longer we are here, the more likely it is the Droids will reactivate," Echo stated.
Tech nodded, then responded, "Wrecker, do you think you can handle this?"
"Sure, I can," Wrecker replied as he approached the door. Grabbing it, he uses his enhanced strength to open the door.
"Good work, Wrecker," Tech stated as they went further.
They would encounter two more doors that impeded their progress.
The first one was ray-shielded but had a computer with a password machine next to it. It allowed Tech to hack into the computer and turn the ray shield off.
The second one was not ray-shielded but was droid operated. Echo used his scomp to link with the electronics inside and open the door.
Finally, the squad reaches the room containing the weapon.
The weapon was large, with several large spikes on the panel at the base. There's a power system underneath the base panel, heavily protected.
"Wow. The weapon is so cool!" Wrecker stated in awe at the weapon.
"There's significant security around the weapon. That's not going to be easy to bypass." Tech stated.
"We've got to bypass the security without activating the droids." Echo pointed out. Hearing this, a nervous Omega stepped in front of Hunter, determined to keep protected from the Droids.
"Echo, we'll have to get to work on security. Hunter, Wrecker, Omega, keep watching," Tech stated.
The others nodded. Echo joined Tech working on security. Meanwhile, Hunter, Wrecker and Omega kept watching.
After a tense minute, the door was down, bypassing the security.
"Get the weapon Wrecker," Tech stated. Wrecker called "On it".
He went inside and slung the weapon over his shoulders.
Suddenly, clanking and alarms signal the activation of Battle Droids.
"Let's get out of here," Hunter stated as the droids approached.
Ray Shields suddenly split Hunter and Omega from Wrecker, Tech and Echo.
"Get back to the Ship," Hunter demanded, who nodded and made their way for the exit.
"Stay close," Hunter said to Omega. She nodded, and they headed another way.
Tech, Wrecker and Echo reach the entrance to the Base. They find a bunch of droids waiting for them.
Tech and Echo engage the droids while Wrecker stays back to protect the weapon. Once they destroyed the droids, Echo stated, "All secure. Wrecker, secure the weapon. Tech, keep an eye out for Droids, Hunter and Omega. I'll wait here to secure the door."
Wrecker nodded and headed for the Ship. Meanwhile, Tech kept watching.
As Hunter and Omega reach Tech and Echo, the former yell, "Watch out," but too late. As Tech destroyed a Rocket Droid, it fired a rocket. It hit the side of the wall next to Omega. It blew her into the opposite wall and crumbled to the ground.
"OMEGA!" Hunter yelled. Tech, having seen what happened, abandoned his post and killed the Droid, racing to see how he could help.
Hunter arrived quickly and was horrified to see blood pouring from a wound on Omega's side. He put his hand on it, applying pressure to it.
"Tech, get my bandana off so I can wrap it around Omega," Hunter stated loudly.
Tech stated, "Understood," and pulled off Hunter's bandana. Hunter grabbed it and wrapped it around Omega's midsection to try and stop the bleeding.
"Hang on, Omega. Just hang on," Hunter said, panicked as he picked her up and ran towards the exit.
Echo, having also watched this, was horrified at what he'd just seen. Their little sister, with her whole life ahead of her, was seriously injured, her life slipping away by the second.
As soon as Hunter and Tech had cleared the door, Echo reactivated the ray shield. He then ran as hard as he could for the Havoc Marauder.
"Tech, get the craft going and find a medical base. Echo, help stabilise Omega," Hunter stated. Both Tech and Echo nodded.
It felt like ages to Hunter before they arrived at the Ship.
Echo was first closely followed by Hunter, carrying Omega and Tech. Wrecker seeing everyone in a panic, said, "What the?" but realised what was happening.
Horrified, he got the nearest bunk set up, allowing Hunter to deposit Omega on it.
Echo grabbed all the medical supplies they needed while Tech found a Medical Base and started taking the Ship towards it.
Once he had set the autopilot, Tech went to help Echo tend to Omega.
Hunter fell back, blaming himself, barely comprehending what had happened. He saw the wound and almost fainted in shock.
It looked horrific, much worse than it would have looked on any of them. After ten minutes of determined work, Echo said, "She's stabilising, she's fighting, we may have just saved her".
"That's a relief," Hunter sighed, a bit of the tension leaving his body.
Hunter sat next to Omega and gently took her hand in his. Wrecker tucked Lula next to her.
Tech and Echo sat around, also keeping watch.
Echo put a hand on Hunter's shoulder as a sign of comfort. Hunter barely felt it, however, as recent events had overloaded his senses.
However, he pushed through it. He had to stay composed for Omega. It slowly became easier to calm his overloaded senses when Omega's condition stabilised, but with how much blood she had lost, he was still concerned for her.
Echo looked to Tech and saw his eyes were darting between Omega and his Datapad. Tech's darting eyes surprised him, as usually nothing could tear Tech away from his Datapad. It looked like Omega getting hurt was the only thing about to interrupt Tech.
The crew carefully watched Omega until they arrived when the Ship beeped. Jumping up, Tech headed for the cockpit.
Checking the navicomputer, he stated, "We're here". He steered the Ship into a landing.
Hunter then scooped up Omega in his arms and rushed out of the Ship toward a waiting gurney, repeating, "You'll be OK, Omega, just hold on," as he did.
Soon, the medics rushed Omega towards surgery, and the Bad Batch went to the waiting room.
When they arrived, Echo and Hunter started pacing around the waiting room. Tech was counting everything he could, just for something to do. Wrecker was just holding Lula.
Everyone was trying to reassure each other and themselves that Omega would be OK.
By now, it's early evening in Agamar, so the air is cooling, even in the medical base.
Several lights on the ceiling provide light. The only noises present are of clerks tapping away on datapads and the hum of an untuned TV set. Hunter senses the TV is close to catching a station. Hunter could feel and taste the guilt and unease emanating from everyone, combined with Omega's blood that stained him, Echo and Tech. Combined with the slight scent of every bodily excretion emanating from the carpet was not pleasant on Hunter's senses. At least the wallpaper, made up of blue hearts, was calming to some degree.
After a while, a droid exited, holding Hunter's bloodstained bandana.
"Excuse me, gentleman. I believe this bandana may be one of yours?" the droid asked.
Hunter responded, "Yeah, it's mine. Thanks," as he took it.
"I must say, whoever came up with the idea to use it as a pressure bandage, it was a good move," the droid called.
Hunter replied, "Thanks, that's what I was going for, so I'm glad it worked.
The droid nodded, then headed back to the operating theatre.
"Oh, one more thing," Hunter said.
The droid turned to face Hunter and asked: "What is it, sir?"
"Have you sedated Omega? If she wakes up in the operating theatre, she'll freak out. She's got serious Medical PTSD from her past," Hunter asked.
The droid turned back to Hunter. "We have. Due to her age and the amount of blood she lost, it was only a small amount. It should keep her under while we operate on her. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must get back to the operating theatre," the droid responded before departing.
Hunter and Echo returned to pacing the room.
An hour later, Hunter returned to the waiting room seats, still brooding. Suddenly, Tech stands up. He approaches Echo, who's still pacing.
Joining Echo in his pacing, Tech said, "Hunter blames himself,"
Echo responded, "Then we need to reassure him that this isn't his fault". Tech agreed.
"We'd better get cleaned up; Omega won't react well to seeing us covered in her blood," he stated.
"That we should," Echo conceded, and they went to get cleaned up.
When Tech and Echo returned, they looked at Hunter, sitting on the seat broodily.
"You should get cleaned up, Hunter," Echo said to Hunter.
"Not until I know she's OK," Hunter replied. Tech explained, "Hunter, Echo's right. It'll only take a few minutes; it'll be hours before they've treated Omega."
Hunter sighed, "Later,"
"Hunter, no offence, but how do you think Omega will react when she wakes up and sees you covered in her blood?" Echo questioned.
Hunter sighed, "Point taken," and reluctantly went to the refresher room.
"How could I have let this happen?" Hunter blamed.
Tech replied, "It wasn't your fault, Hunter. Omega's lucky it hit the wall in front of her, or we'd be burying her pieces,"
"I know. And I'm glad of that," Hunter replied. Echo sighed, "What are we going to do now?"
"Well, we can start by protecting her," Hunter replied.
Tech asked, "You mean getting her armour?"
"Yes. Look at us. We're protected, and Omega isn't. And she's particularly vulnerable to things like this due to her age." Hunter replied. Echo then said, "Then that's what we'll do."
"I think we could also start a training program for her. It's about time she became one of us."
"Agreed. Hunter, we can work on that together once you're freshened up," Tech stated.
Hunter sighed, "Alright."
"Remember what Suu said on Saleucami?" Echo asked.
Hunter responded, "Yeah, children will always find ways of getting into trouble. It's what they do, and protecting them is what we do."
"Yeah. And Omega's no different." Tech stated.
"You shouldn't blame yourself for this. It's happened. Now we've got to do our best to minimise the chances of it happening again. And the consequences of it when it does," Echo responded.
Hunter nodded and said, "Alright. We've got a game plan," he headed for the refresher room.
Wrecker sat there, holding Lula, still in shock over what had happened. When they got to Ord Mantell, he was getting the big box of Mantell Mix, plus whatever else she wanted. He never wanted to see her like this again.
Once Hunter had freshened himself up and washed his bloodstained bandana, they returned to the Waiting Room.
"Got a plan for once Omega gets out of here?" Wrecker asked.
Hunter replied, "That's what we're going to work on while we wait for Omega."
"Good," Wrecker replied, and together they started working out a plan.
Not long after, the Bad Batch suddenly got a message.
"We've got a message," Tech said suddenly. The rest of the crew turned to face him.
"Who is it?"
"Cid's," Tech stated in surprise.
"Cid?" Echo asked incredulously.
Hunter explained, "Probably wondering where we are"
"Alright, put her through," Echo replied. Tech accepted the call, and Cid came through.
"I thought you boys would be back here by now. What's holding you up?" Cid asked accusingly. Hunter replied, "We've got the weapon, but there's been a situation involving Omega."
"Wait, what happened to Tiny?" Cid asked, a note of concern as her head leered as closely as she could into the communicator.
"Omega's injured during the mission, and we're waiting until she's treated and released before we head home," Tech replied.
Cid nodded, then responded, "Alright, Goggles, thanks for the info. At least you boys got the weapon,"
"Yep, I carried it out on my own," Wrecker bragged.
Cid responded, "No need to brag, muscles."
She turned to Hunter and continued, "Oh, and bandana. When Tiny wakes up, tell her that Cid wishes her a speedy recovery and that she'll have the biggest box of Mantell Mix waiting for her when she gets back, all on me."
"We will, Cid," Hunter responded.
Cid replied, "Good. I'm getting good money on this deal, so make sure the weapon stays safe too."
"It's safe with us," Wrecker responded.
Cid said, "Good. Cid out." and the communication ended.
"How long do you think it will be before we return to Ord Mantell?" Hunter asked.
Tech replied, "A few days likely."
"Alright," Hunter responded.
A couple of hours later, the Bad batch were all sitting together on the couch, Hunter having found a pad and paper and was drawing something on it when the Medical Droid approached.
"How is she?"
The droid replied, "The operation was a success. The child will be fine. Her wound will heal in time, and the concussion will fade. She lost a lot of blood. So we sedated her. She'll be asleep for another half-day or so."
"Alright. Can we go see Omega?" Hunter asked.
The droid replied, "Sure, I'll take you to her", and the droid headed for the ward Omega was on, with the Bad Batch following behind.
The ward they entered was warmer than outside, though not by much. There's a hum of medical machines dominating the sounds, several of these attached to Omega. The lights are dimmer here, and the setting sun is visible through a window outside. The wallpaper inside the ward matched the wallpaper outside. Hunter could smell the scent of cleaning materials and Omega's injuries. The sheets were warm to the touch, and while the bed was hard, the mattress and bed were soft, as Hunter felt. The floor, by contrast, was hard though Hunter only noticed flexibility in the tiles.
When the Bad Batch enters the ward, they see Omega lying in one of the beds. As they approached, the first thing they saw was how pale and fragile she was. Hunter sat near her, took her hand in his, checking her heartbeat.
"How's her heartbeat?" Wrecker asked.
Hunter replied, "Stronger than it was before", and the Bad Batch relaxed as they took seats around her.
"What do we do when we get back? And how long will Omega have to rest?" Hunter asked Tech, who stated, "We get the weapon to Cid and get our payday, then we find somewhere to rest and relax. As to Omega's wound and concussion, those will take at least a week to heal and clear up, respectively".
"So, a week to two weeks' recovery time," Hunter questioned.
Tech nodded. Hunter then returned to his pad while the others kept an eye on Omega.
After some more time had passed, Hunter finished drawing and showed Tech the design. He nodded, then showed it to Wrecker.
"Good work Hunter," Wrecker said.
Hunter replied, "Thanks," while Tech got to work on modelling the armour on his datapad.
By the time Omega awoke, the rest of the Bad Batch had fallen asleep. Omega felt Hunter holding her hand and reaching over to pat his hair. Hunter felt this, awoke and smiled upon seeing Omega.
"How are you?" Hunter asked.
Omega replied, "Tired and sore. What happened?"
"You caught an explosion," Hunter replied.
Omega responded, "I know that. How, ugh, OK, why does it hurt to think?"
"You've got a concussion, Omega. You hit your head on the wall and got knocked out." Hunter replied.
Omega groaned, then asked, slightly worried, "I'm sorry. What's the time? How did I get here? How long have I been out?"
Hunter replied, "Just focus on resting, Omega, alright? Don't worry about any of that."
"OK," Omega responded, giving a weak thumb up.
Wrecker awoke soon afterwards and saw Omega looking around. He nudged Tech and Echo, awakening them too.
"You're awake," Wrecker said.
Hunter responded by quieting him.
"Sorry," Wrecker whispered before he continued, "You scared us, kid."
"I'm sorry." Omega meekly replied. Hunter responded, "Don't worry, Omega. You'll be fine. You'll be here a few more days, then once you're released, we can head home, and you can get your armour and start training."
"Armor and training?" Omega wondered.
Echo replied, "We've agreed that it's about time you got some protection and learned to be a Bad Batcher. You probably wouldn't be here if you had armour", and Tech gave Omega his datapad, which had her armour on it.
"What do you think?" Hunter asked.
Omega smiled and replied, "I like it."
"Glad you like it," Tech replied. Hunter then added, "By the way, Cid wishes you a speedy recovery, and she'll have a big box of Mantell Mix for you when you get back",
Omega smiled and replied, "Yay! I look forward to it." then repositioned herself and started drifting off to sleep. As she did, Hunter said, "Good Night, ad'ika", and slowly, each of the other Bad Batchers also drifted off to sleep.
The Batch cycled between Omega's bedside and the Ship over the next few days, ensuring at least one of them was keeping an eye on both Omega and the weapon. Omega herself spent much of her time asleep, resting and recovering from her near-death experience.
During one of these times, the sounds of distress awaken Hunter. The source was Omega, who curled in the fetal position, shaking and crying, muttering, "No! why? Why aren't you working? Why aren't you lifting off? Hunter, Wrecker, anyone, help".
Hunter wasn't sure what to make of it, except that he needed to calm her down. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he whispered, "Omega, it's OK, whatever you're seeing, it's not real. You're safe, you're OK," and he gently patted her upper arm.
Slowly, Omega calmed down, stopped shaking and crying, and stretched out. It had worked, and Omega was calm again.
"What was that about?" came a whisper from nearby. Hunter turned and saw that Omega had woken Echo.
"I think she was having a nightmare about Bora Vio, judging by what she was muttering," Hunter replied,
Echo nodded and responded, "You did well, Hunter. That was the right thing to do. We'll see if Omega remembers this when she wakes up,"
"Alright," Hunter replied, and they got comfortable and drifted back to sleep.
The following morning, Omega awoke, confused and disoriented.
"You OK, ad'ika?" Hunter asked.
Omega replied, "Kinda weird. What happened last night? I heard you talk to me for some reason. What happened?"
"You don't remember?" Echo asked.
Omega shook her head, though she stopped as it made her feel sick.
"You had a nightmare. You were curled up, crying and shaking, muttering about something not working. I spoke to you to reassure you and calm you down. After a bit, you calmed down, stopped crying and shaking, and resumed a calmer sleep," Hunter said. Omega blushed and said, "Sorry you had to hear that."
"It's fine, Omega. We know your nightmares are coming back, so we can work with you to help manage them." Hunter replied, smiling and placing a hand on her shoulder. Omega placed her hand on Hunter's hand.
"Thanks," Omega replied, smiling.
The day of Omega's discharge arrived to the Batch's joy. However, morning tests had revealed that Omega was still affected by her concussion, so Hunter carried her as they exited the hospital and returned to their Ship.
Echo took over the control panel seat, while Hunter settled next to Tech while carrying Omega. The Ship groaned as Tech took it off the planet and into Hyperspace.
"How long before we get to Ord Mantell?" Hunter enquired to Tech.
He stated, "One hour and three minutes."
"Alright," Hunter replied. He then turned to Echo, who asked, "What do we do about her room? She won't be able to access it injured."
Hunter thought about this for a moment, then said, "Maybe we can find out where Cut and Suu are now and spend a few days, or weeks, with them. Outside of that, she could stay with us. That seems to help with the nightmares."
"Alright. Just make sure there's enough room on our bunks for Omega." Echo responded.
Hunter nodded. He then turned to look at Omega, whom he was holding and saw that she was almost asleep, a tiny slit of eye visible under her eyelids.
Hunter replied, "Once we've sorted the weapon out with Cid, we will"
"How long will it be?" Omega asked. Hunter replied, "We'll be back at Ord Mantell in an hour."
"Yay, Mantell Mix," Omega tiredly said before she drifted off to sleep. Hunter took a seat and positioned her more comfortably for both.
Wrecker tucked Lula under Omega's arm and threw a blanket over both. Omega's quiet breathing joined the various groans of the Ship.
"Tech, you think we could contact Captain Rex to find out where Cut and Suu have wound up?" Hunter asked.
Tech replied, "I'm sure we can. But, let's wait until we get back home before we do that".
An hour later, they arrived. Tech gently pulled them out of hyperspace, and Hunter gently awoke Omega.
"We're here," Hunter said.
Omega smiled and replied, "Yay". When they landed just outside Cid's Parlor, they saw Cid was waiting for them as they exited the Havoc Marauder.
"About time you boys got back. Did you get the weapon?" Cid asked.
Wrecker, who was carrying it, replied, "We've got it, Cid."
"Alright, Muscles. Get it into my office. Don't damage it." Cid ordered. As Wrecker entered, she turned to face the rest.
"Wait here. I'll be back with the Mantell Mix for Tiny." Cid continued, and she headed inside. Hunter turned to face Omega and asked: "How big is the box she got?"
"No idea. We just get the regular-sized boxes after missions." Omega replied. After a couple of minutes, Cid returned with the Mantell Mix. And it was huge, easily several times the size of the normal-sized box.
"There you go, Tiny. That cost 50 credits. But don't worry about paying for it. This one's on me." Cid stated as she gave it to Omega. She set it aside, hugged Cid, and replied, "Thank you, Cid."
"Heh, no worries, Tiny," Cid replied, putting her hands on Omega's back. After they broke apart, Wrecker returned.
"Wow, that is a big box of Mantell Mix," Wrecker stated, approaching it. Cid put an arm out in front of him and replied, "Ah, ha, ha, that's for Tiny. She needs all the energy she can get if she's going to recover."
"Alright," Wrecker replied, looking somewhat longingly at the mix. Cid turned to Hunter and Echo and said, "Alrighty then, Guess I'd better pay you, boys. Follow me, Bandana, Scomp Link."
"Alright," Hunter and Echo replied, and they headed into Cid's parlour as Tech helped Omega carry the Mantell Mix into the Havoc Marauder.
Cid's office looked like a typical office. Small, warm, and dingy. The lights are dim, and the holo table provides as much light. The dinginess in the sounds, smells, and tastes of the office, including the hum of the holo table, a slight spice smell, and a slight smell from Cid herself. There's a taste of alcohol and spice in the air. Hunter couldn't help but notice the box of Spice stashed in the corner.
Cid gave them a box with many credits in it.
"That's 33% of what you got," Hunter said, surprised.
Cid replied, "It was a valuable weapon, Bandana. Oh, and I got a message from your Clone Friend Scomp Link."
"From Rex?" Echo asked.
Cid replied, "That's right, Scomp Link, here you go." she gave him a communicator. He turned it on, and Rex's message came through.
"Echo, if you've got this message, then you boys have got the weapon to Cid successfully. I want, specifically, Echo, to meet me on the planet Dantooine. I will transmit Tech coordinates once you confirm you have received this message. Rex out." Rex said through the transmission.
"So, what are you boys gonna do now?" Cid asked.
Hunter replied, "Probably follow up on Rex and see if we can find a few old friends to spend time with."
"Alright. Keep in touch, alright?" Cid called, and Echo replied, "We will," before Hunter and Echo departed.
Once everyone was back on board, Tech sent a secure message to Rex confirming that they had received his letter. Rex transmitted the coordinates of Dantooine to The Bad Batch, and they headed out. Echo sent a message about where the Lawquane family was and mentioned that Omega was injured.
Rex returned a speedy recovery for Omega and revealed that they live on Dantooine.
"Well, guess we know where we're going for the next few weeks," Tech stated as he brought the Ship into Hyperspace.
"It will be good to catch up with the Lawquane family again. I'm sure Jek and Shaeeah have grown like you have Omega," Wrecker said.
The crew nodded and settled in for a long journey to Dantooine.
