Time-line: After the war on Naboo, but before Anakin is accepted as a Jedi
Sypnopsis: After the debate in the council over training him, the council gives Anakin Skywalker another chance. But in the middle of it, Anakin's future self ends up in his body, using this to their advantage after he tells them this. They create an alibi, before deciding to create his alter into his real life clone, as the clone. In their eyes, is the chosen one and as they train Anakin in secret in years to kill Chancellor Palpatine

Warnings: This story is going to use the theoretical from my other story, as the Jedi Quest novels. So the remarks in bold print and italic are Vader himself, Anakin is in basic not bold and italicized. So this are and will be as though Anakin and Vader are two separate beings now. As the Jedi, the Naboo and everyone in the galaxy, once he clones himself, know that Vader is a separate entity to Anakin's personality entirely.
And see him as the Chosen One, but are training Anakin in secret here, as the lightsaber implication. Is Vader, and everything that involved the darkside was Vader, Anakin himself grows up to be the perfect Jedi padawan, as they all graduate 27 to 29. This chapter is going to leave out Anakin exchange with his mother, as those thoughts are Vader's, Anakin shows the maturity of a 25 year old from here as the weeks go by.
Chapter 1: The Decision And The Retrial
Memory Recall-Three Days Prior- Anakin's POV:
"Good going, Annie!" he heard and smiled, as he refocused, and remembered the day he won the race, as he looked into the orange eyes of the flappy eared creature holding him up. As he put him down then, before he looked into the eyes of his wife as she hugged him tightly. And he pressed his forehead to her's smiling. "We owe you everything, Annie." she said and he smiled at her. "You're welcome Padme, just the beginning now." he said to her and she nodded smiling.
As he looked at the woman he missed more than anything, as she kissed his cheek. "It's so wonderful, Annie, you have brought hope to those who have none, I'm so very proud of you." she said smiling and he nodded. "That's just the beginning, but I heard most your exchange with Qui-Gon, Jedi training, I get in, and the trader is done for." he said and she nodded. "Halla?!" she asked and he nodded. "Could take a few years, but yes." he said and she nodded smiling.
"Who's Halla?" Padme Naberrie asked and he sighed. "The mother of Amee Farcloud, the little girl you met yesterday." he said and she nodded in shock. "We get the occasional visit by various slave traders, this happened 2 years ago. He's the reason I swore to do anything in my power to protect mom." he said and she nodded. "Krayne, he's a T'surr slave trader now, but slave raider, his home base is Nar Shadaa, mom wasn't kidding, things could be far worse."
"At least here, nobody uses the electro jabber." he said and she nodded in shocked disgust. "And there's the chant going through Andy's mind if he hears that Mace assigned you to helping Adi. And Siri in shutting him down finally, but raider, trader, raider, trader, come on padawan, focus." his aunt said gently and his mother nodded in agreement then. "Well Andy is not the one going in willingly, to shut him down, I am, but things could be worse." he said and they all nodded.
"Yes indeed, things, regarding our status, they could be far worse then they are, for all of us, here right now, but you carried our highest hopes. But you're right, things could be far worse for us right now, at least here we get somewhat freedom. There, they are very vicious right now, to the point, of downright murder, by stunning you into a coma now." Amee's father, Wilhelm Farcloud said sternly, crossing his arms as the parents of his fellow slaves surrounded them.
"That's her father, Wilhelm Farcloud." he said and she nodded. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Farcloud." she said and their family astro droid gave a 'hello' beep to him and he nodded. "Qui-Gon knew immediately what I am when I told him that the other night, but 6 blown races. And I get a win, now, but this is why I'm beyond careful, success just feeds the arrogance. So stay humble, not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game, and Sebulba is a dirty cheater here."
"Guys, I'm a padawan initiate, the force was waiting for him and his apprentice to come right to me, and then I get my first win." he said and everyone all smiled at that. "You're a future Jedi youngling, well I never saw this coming." he said smiling then and he nodded. "I know, but the council will not be easily swayed, but our black cloaked visitor now, is a bigger problem. They're back alright, dad's the only source for some intel I need, I get that, I stay me forever now."
"Things change and get better, but you know me as me, but thing of it is, is Andy is too quick to anger, extremely competitive and at times beyond reckless." he said and they nodded. "I know, and I can't believe he never got back before dark, with the nocturnal animals. Or what not running loose, he could have been killed!" Seek Farstreamer's father said sternly to that. "And I always saw you as my golden child, you knew better anyway, but I always knew you'd win."
"As I said, you carry our deepest hopes now, if you are allowed to be trained." his mother, Shmi Skywalker, said smiling and he nodded gently. "Padme, I wanted you to have this, so you'd remember me always, it's carved from a japor snippet, it will bring you good fortune." he said and she smiled. "Thank you, it's beautiful." she said smiling then to him at that gently. "I think he tricked him, I'm free to go, but the force was waiting for him to make contact with me."
"Then grant me my first win, but this is considered a Jedi sport, as only human Jedi can do this without it killing them in the process." he said and she nodded in shock then. "I see why your mother was scared, that dug is out of his mind." she said and he nodded. "I got to go, I'm going to deal with Watto, and make a few arrangements, Threepio is being finished." he said and headed for the podium then. "Guess this is good bye, Watto." he said and he turned to him.
"How did you know?" he asked and he crossed his arms. "You ever consider I'm a padawan?" he asked and he paled then. "Only one kind of human can run a race like this, without it killing them, only one, who is it?" he asked and he went white then, realizing he been double crossed. "As he would say, whenever you gamble eventually you'll lose, but I just raced for my freedom, so I'll take that wand please." he said and he passed him the wand and deactivated his then.
"But I promise you, take your bad temper out on my mother, because he knew what I am, there will be mustafar to pay here." he said and he nodded quickly. "You guessed right, Jedi have the occasional farmers, runs in the family, Dave and Leia." he said and he swallowed hard. "Your mother's sister and her husband are Jedi, the podracer!" he said in shock and he nodded then. "Indeed Watto, we did warn you, but that's not a problem, the next race is in 7 months now."
"You get it all back, but this means the entire network now, my nephew has to get his powers unlocked now." they heard as his aunt and uncle arrived as he saw his father mentor walk up behind them and he said it in resignation. "You!, You swindled me, you knew the boy was going to win, somehow you knew it…., I lost everything." he said and Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn said it gently. "Whenever you gamble, my friend, eventually you lose." he said and then said it firmly.
"Bring the parts to the main hangar, I'll come by your shop later on so you can release the boy." he said and he said in with the tone of a bad loser. "You can't have him, it wasn't a fair bet." he said and he said it firmly. "Would you like to discuss it with the Hutts? I'm sure they can settle this." he asked and he sighed and waved his hand. "Take him." he said and he nodded. "Stand by, I'm coming with you back to the ship, so I can repair her." he said and he nodded gently.
"That's fine, let me take a guess, but the twin jabbering about slavery or his trying to fix things about the ship the other night was your younger brother. While you now, you're Obi-wan at 9 years old?" he asked and Anakin nodded gently. "I am, but then I'm enough like Obi-wan this will work out, but he's got 6 negative pieces to him. That the council will be quick to see, me, I can learn, but too old, not so much, I'm just the right age, I can adapt." he said and he nodded.
"That threat and counter threat was Andy, after Sebulba insulted him, he was irritated mom didn't allow him to race right now. As I gave the punchline, you need help, I'm not in this to be freed or for the money, I did it because it's the right thing to do." he said and Qui-Gon nodded gently. "And there's the reason you deserve this more, you're far more mature for a child your age, then he is, but if your instincts activated, then you're ready." he said and Anakin nodded.
"In retrospect here, there is a big problem with leaving, and that is, with us living in the city, we get next to no attacks by raiders, but living in in the farming district. It's a kidnapping waiting to happen, what was firing at me was a Raider." he said and Qui-Gon nodded gently. "My biggest fear after Krayne came through here, is something happening to mom. And I'm not here to stop it right now, as such here now, I'm, after she meets my stepfather, enhancing the shield now."
"On his security perimeter at his homestead." he said and he nodded gently. "And that I understand, your mother and I think the same here on this, but destroying the transmitters. That stops one threat, but the other is up for debate right now." he said and Anakin nodded. "I know, but Gentlemen, I know whoever kidnapped here, never considered, but I am a wizard. A cub, so do not make me use my wand to cut you, stand down now." he said turning it on gently.
"Nice wording, and these can could be considered a wand with the primitive beings on your planet." he said and he nodded. "I have to tell your partner and her padawan the truth, before she leaves on that mission, but Krayne kidnapped the mother of my best female friend. And during the last attack here, 18 months ago." he said and Qui-Gon nodded gently to him. "So hearing his alias, you know what the mission is about?" he asked and Anakin nodded gently.
"And to say this now, such practices of what some alien leader alliance said, they are no more true now, when the cubs, my grandchildren, are teenagers. But now, then they ever were, I'm evidence to that, it can happen in any form, alien on alien. Alien on human, human on alien, or human on human, it's all a load of fodder, she's claiming to her followers. The wookies are are resilient, they are not stupid, if cub is a wookie, he's telling that to whoever reined him in."
"Getting whoever never told me they were leaving the academy, and they all went AWOL, out right now, but you're on probation till we decide what to do with you children." he said and Qui-Gon nodded in stern agreement. "Point taken and you're right on all counts, after what we seen the last 3 days, such practices are no more true now, then they ever were." he said and they nodded in agreement. "One slave, turned employee, gone is enough." Watto called out to him.
"Just be gentle, I'll be back in a few in a months, and she works for you as an employee, not a servant." he called back and Watto nodded gently to him. "I understand Annie, and thank you for the warning, but Sebulba doesn't realize this." he said and they nodded. "Yeah guys incoming here he comes now." Padme said as he walked over. "Wrong twin Sebulba, you and my brother hate each other, but I am a padawan, we get our next race in 7 months right now."
"But let this be a lesson in the dangers of cheating, maybe now you'll race fairly." he said and he said it with a growl. "Next time we race, it will be the end of you." he said and he gripped his lightsaber. "You do realize who this is, our visitors are under protection by Jabba the Hutt, but the leader of the quartet is a Jedi master." he said and he went pale, as he saw the look on Qui-Gon's face and he swallowed hard. "We'll see each other again." he said and he nodded shaking.
"Remember what I said, careful here, they're visitors, but they're very well connected, so I'd hate to see you diced, before we race again. My next to last race is the Harvesters, and the last is the Galactic Games, but I'm a full padawan. I just grew 2 hand spans taller and got a haircut, and I'm carrying a preteen to teenage version to this on my belt." he said, tapping the hilt of his lightsaber. "But that's enough cheating, so chesko now." he said and he nodded and quickly left.
"Nice wording, the haircut, you're looking like a preteen to young teenage padawan, and gained your first growth spurt." Dave said and he nodded smiling then. "Yeah, but the life suits me, because just consider if she decides here to become a senator now. She's with us on Coruscant, I see her all the time now, and both sides of that future alliance are just fine with this." he said and Padme chuckled, knowing he was right, they were together and close to getting together.
"Point taken and yes I don't mind that at all, you and Padme see each other all the time, as young adults, the council won't mind that at all. She's under our full protection and the queen, her replacement, knows that too." Qui-Gon said with a gentle smile. "Issues in the surrogate family, the youngest is attention seeking, but that's going to wear thin real fast. If Andy takes up illegal racing on the capitol in the eyes of your boss." he said and Qui-Gon nodded gently then.
"Well I was right, I'm free now, but before we leave I got to fix the ship, Padme." he said and she nodded smiling. "You freed both of us, didn't you, oh boy, this is not going to go down well, once he realizes the side effect, but not a problem. I can fix that, but her destiny is marrying a farmer, so she's safe, once I update the security defenses on their shields. Like she would have said, her place is here, she'll be fine." he said and Shmi nodded in agreement gently to that.
"Indeed my son, I will be fine, you just stay safe." she said and he nodded as he hugged her then gently. "Wait a second, is that a…." Padme started to say and he nodded. "Yeah I built one of out scrap pieces of metal and jewels I had on hand." he said and turned it on and Qui-Gon smiled in amazement. "So even without the proper training, you could create one, you're a guardian, like your brother is." he said and it shifted to amethyst blue and he nodded gently.
"Yeah Mace, he's you as a youngling, been on the sharp end here." he said, bemused and Padme chuckled at that. "I assume that's the second in command Qui-Gon?" Shmi asked and he nodded. "Okay, with having pre-training in one on one, only I'm going…., hold on, he's still in the VIP box, be back in a minute." he said and they nodded as he walked up there. "I request an audience with the mighty Jabba, please." he said and his major domo nodded gently to him.
"Greeting exalted one, I wish to speak with you, about a benefit here, after the recent attack by Krayne 18 months ago." he said and Jabba the hutt nodded. "What might that be?" he asked and he explained that. "How much would it cost to buy out every contract of slaves on the planet?" he asked and Jabba explained that. "Approximately 350,000 wupiupi." he said and Anakin nodded. "Then would racing for triple that, be enough?" he asked and Jabba nodded.
"Indeed, you mean after your racing today and won, you're racing for the freedom, of everyone on the planet, so we can deactivate all the transmitters now." he said and Anakin nodded. "I am, everyone on Taooine is free, before I erase him from existence now, no more living in fear. The amount from this, has the triple to quadruple the amount to keep Tatooine out of the redline." he said and Jabba nodded. "Very well, how soon?" he asked and he explained that to him then.
"My lord Jabba, undercover of a careful alibi, we had Jedi arrive on protection duty of the trio that were staying with me." he said and he nodded sternly. "Appointing yourself their personal guide, I heard that there was a disturbance in the marketplace two days ago. So you assumed that role, before I could assign someone to that, very well and thank you for alerting me to that. So you are free now, the Jedi Master, his padawan, knew you would win that race, and Jemba."
"Paid the ultimate price for tangling with a skilled Jedi Master here and his padawan, I assume that the Master is that Jedi Master that killed Jemba, Master Jinn. His Padawan Obi-wan Kenobi, 13 years ago, they killed him and his associate Grelb?" he asked and he nodded. 'I don't believe it, Obi-wan why didn't you tell me here, that you're the reason here. That they're all afraid to tangle with me, I'm part of the most famous team in the temple.' he thought gently to that.
"Give me 7 months, I need to get my powers fully unlocked, if you ever have need to reach me however, contact me through the Jedi council." he said and he nodded with a smile. "Very well, I will do so, and see you in 7 months, Padawan Skywalker, good luck and may the force be with you." he said and Anakin nodded and bowed humbly to him then as he left the box. "Well, how did he take it?" Padme asked and he smiled. "He agreed, 7 months." he said and they smiled.
"Then 7 months it is, I'm coming back with you, and this time we're parking outside your house." she said and he nodded smiling. "Qui-Gon after revealing your existence here in town to him, he revealed a mission 13 years ago, you and Obi-wan killed two hutts: Grelb and Jemba." he said and Shmi looked at him in shock. "You're that Qui-Gon Jinn, the former mentor of the head of the Offworld mining corporation?" she asked him and he nodded to her gently at that.
"I am, and that was before I took your brother on as my padawan." he said and Anakin nodded gently "Well I got to fix the other one after Sebulba smashed it in the last race, but 7 months is plenty, I can fix it over 7 months, in between my training. Before I get her ready for the race, two days max." he said and Qui-Gon nodded smiling gently, seeing himself at 9 years old, as they headed back for the ship. "Watto!" he called out and the Toydarian flew over to him then.
"If you don't mind I can take your pod and repair the damage, Anakin will be trained, but that's his side project, and we fix the damage done in the last race." he said and Watto nodded. "Then I am on a hold till when exactly, as you're acting as pilot again?" he asked and he explained it then. "That's 7 months, but I'm doing the entire network this time freeing my mother, so my mother is to paid 150 a week after I do so, as you're getting in exchange 120,000 for it."
"But I'm racing for the entire network this time, but Jabba told me that it would take 350,000 to free the entire network, but the amount is quadruple now." he said and Watto nodded. "So best don't gamble now, because whoever was, we know that engine trouble is really…." he started to say and he smiled. "A Jedi handi-cap, giving the other racers a 30 second head-start and he has to catch up, Sebulba's good no doubts there, but I'm a Jedi." he said and Watto nodded gently.
"How do you suppose the council will take you freeing everyone on the planet now, before we have another attack by the raider?" Farcloud asked and he crossed his arms. "They're going to be annoyed, but they know, as an ex slave, my duty to protect my people. But I know the council is sending someone undercover on Nar Shadaa, before they shut him down. But They're hearing first hand from me, what the life of a slave is really like." he said to him and he nodded.
"Andy hates being a slave, but I'm like mom, I just deal, but I'm explaining this to you, but as I said, before he interrupted me the other night. Every new day for a slave, if not free, is a new day to die, because we try to escape, that transmitter goes off. We get violent or disagree with our Masters, that's owners, we die, we have no true freedom. And until somebody buys out our contracts, and then deactivates the transmitters." he explained and Padme nodded gently then.
"But I kill Krayne myself, that brings true freedom, because he's our biggest fear, he's our biggest enemy as slaves, we know. We know we hear the name trader, then we know he just came through the sector, the day he did here. As I got Amee out of range just in time, but he's vicious, a brutal killer, with no mercy, you get in his way. That's if you're a non force sensitive, you die, only a Jedi can do this now." he said and she and Qui-Gon nodded in understanding.
"But like said bounty hunter same thing, if he doesn't come quietly he's got to be put down, so self defense." he said and he nodded. "So not vengeance, but justice, you don't hate him, you see him as a criminal, and one that must be brought to justice?" he said, crouching in front of him and he nodded. "Exactly, he's a criminal with 75 bounties and death sentences all over the galaxy, and he's being brought to justice in sum years time." he said and he nodded gently.
"These puncture wounds on your shoulders and neck, I assume they connect to that bounty hunter?" he asked and he nodded. "Indeed they do, I was captured by a scientist obsessed with the force, prior to me was the son of the senator of Belasco. But before she got her hands on me, was she got her hands on a retired Jedi master. His name is Noor R'Aya, he's like us, draining him of blood, he was suffering a trauma, but she barely killed a friend of mine now."
"Who's name is Didi Oddo, and his daughter sided with us, my partner team leader, in Masters is a council member, her apprentice is the subject to your undercover stint." he said and he nodded smiling, now understanding why Obi-wan, Garen and Siri came after him. Obi-wan and Siri knew the scientist on sight, but knowing he had to stick close to him and Siri now. He was not losing his family again. "I understand, let me guess, your mate." he asked him then gently.
"Yes, I lost my dear Tahl, directly after we professed our love for each other, but Obi-wan and I are two sides of the same coin. I nearly crossed the line, but Tahl stopped me, but I swore never to return to New Apsolon since then. While Cerasi is alive, she married her counterpart young leader, Nield, but they are Obi-wan's friends. And to be perfectly honest, I'm praying we never get sent back, because I'm not leaving you alone on the planet." he said and Anakin nodded.
"Well that explains alot, why you said, though strong, we can be killed." he said and he nodded gently. "Let me guess, youngling is code for 'The Young'?" he asked and Qui-Gon nodded gently. "Preteen to teenage army, this planet is in a constant state of peril, that we ended up in the middle, but your brother got swayed by the cause, I was hurt he left me. Just when we put our bond into place." he said and Anakin nodded as he hugged him and he tightened his arms then.
"Side effects you got your normal side and your Jedi side jockeying for position, but growing up normal is far easier to take than growing up temple bound. You remember who you are, where you come from, it's safer this way, I have a people, planet and cause already. But I'm a Tatooine local, I have my friends here in Mos Espa, and I'm a padawan in training. So everything found, I have already." he said and Shmi and Qui-Gon chuckled at that remark as Padme smiled at that.
"Well the mistake we made with your brother, I'm not making twice with you, so with that in mind here." he said and pulled out a spare crystal and put it in his hand. "Keeps you grounded, you know what each color means, locking you into the ones your closest to. If you end up being the next one stuck out there, you remember who you are and where you come from." he said and gave him a stone. "That's a force sensitive river stone, son." he said and Anakin nodded.
As he gave him a second hug. "Birthday's in two weeks, so an early birthday present, something of value, and that is worth so much to me, I can hold onto my memories. If my emotions get swayed now by the cause there." he said and he nodded gently. "I see I have a lot to teach you, but I see it easily, your living force like I am, but that's a key detail. We are matched to the opposite side of the force, your brother is a unifying." he said and Anakin nodded gently then.
"The maturity in you is you're practically a 25 year old now." he said and Anakin nodded. "I know, but we got company, a character in black cloak, I warned him off to stay away from us. But my brother has a dangerous interest in the darkside, me I'm a Jedi, with full Guardian, in tendencies here right now, but he targets my family, they will be destroyed, his apprentice." he said and Qui-Gon nodded. "I understand, but for now you must train." he said and he nodded.
"Yeah, before I can do that, I must train further, my powers were briefly unlocked, but living here, the dual suns, they sap my strength. Trying to build up my stamina, I collapsed 5 times in the heat." he said and Qui-Gon nodded. 'Yes baby needs a cooler spot to train in, so training in the temple, he can learn to swim after a work out, he'll be okay.' he thought gently and looked at Padme. "I freed him first, so he's coming back with us." he said and she nodded smiling then.
"Qui-Gon, if you could, regarding Andrus however now, that child needs to control his anger and he's still breaking orders, he said he ran into a pilot the other night. This was two weeks before you arrived, skipping out on repairing the podracer, he played hooky. Maybe you and your friends could control him, because he's very quick to break rules. Anakin not so much, in fact after a day in the shop he's at our house building Threepio." She said and he nodded gently.
"Or working on the engines and looks like you needed a reliable power cell to finish her, but I should have known that was a facade. Anything that had any value was endanger, you always made sure to keep your work carefully hidden by appearance!" Watto said with an amused smile and he nodded. "Yeah I borrowed a power cell from the table, I'll pay you back later for that Watto, but I'm coming home in 7 months, for the Harvesters." he said and he nodded, smiling.
"Like you figured, if I can build a protocol droid, or create a pod from scrap metal…" he said and they started laughing. "Then building this would be absolutely no problem for you, but you need to train with a practice one, before you use this one, Annie." Leia's husband said smiling and he nodded gently. "Well the farmer life suits you guys Uncle Dave, but you did my creche training yourself, before Father brought me to the temple." he said and his aunt and uncle nodded.
"Indeed, and 1 year left, before you gain your lightsaber, we create our lightsabers at 10 years old and spend 3 years training with it. But you're well suited to be a Jedi padawan, the life suits you, but you show the heart of what we are. Yoda would say the same now, you be careful in finishing the mission, we'll see you in 7 months, honey." Leia said and he nodded smiling, as he hugged them and they separated. "Hidoe!" Jar-Jar Banks said to her security as they arrived.
As the second in command of the security passed him the reins of the eopie he was riding then. "Well, we have all the essential parts we need, I'm going back, I have some unfinished business, I won't be long." he said and Anakin Skywalker called out to them. "Hey guys!" he called out and his mentor looked up smiling, as he walked over to them with a smile on his face then. "Hey son, what are you doing out here?" the captain asked him and he smiled as he answered him.
"I'm said boy, my name is Annie, or Anakin, but Anakin Skywalker, said boy that he would have mentioned is my twin brother in truth. But he freed us both, I'm the one knowing what my one wish means, to which Andy never considered, leaving mom for a few months." he said and they nodded. "You better speed that up though, we got company here, the darkside is close by." he said and his team nodded. "Then can you give me a hand?" his mentor asked him smiling gently.
"Sure." he said and he went to join them and he saw the problem. "I ever have to make repeated repair jobs, whoever did this is getting blasted right to mustafar for it." he said and the pilot chuckled and nodded gently. "Quite the engineer, are we?" the captain asked him and he nodded. "I am, in fact that podracer was meant to look like a scrap heap, may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, under the hood." he said and his mentor smiled gently.
"They don't want me under foot during the death match duel, so Captain, I need piloting training on your fighter controls." he said and the captain nodded. "Fair enough right now, and he's right, you're a pre padawan, and never learned to fight with a lightsaber. But your piloting skills are useful, so yeah I can teach you enroute to Coruscant and back to Naboo." their pilot said and he nodded as Artoo beeped. "Classic rule of thumb, training with a lightsaber." he said to him then.
"Indeed, when training with a lightsaber or any type of machinery, best let the equipment teach you, but such a process can take hours to do so and we're under expedited training here. Before we can really sit down and do so now here." Qui-Gon said and he nodded. "Well I learned so much from you already, but you're my team now, you mean most to me. But my brother, once he hears what it was that attacked you, and is targeting here, he's quick to act on it now."
"As you would say, knowing we got company, after the queen, best be patient, we need all the information, before we act." he said and they both smiled, as his mentor saw a perfect fit with him, as he answered him then. "Indeed right now, but from 9 to my age of going on 26, it's us padawans are always on the move." he said and their father mentor chuckled. "Yes, but Anakin Skywalker, I'd like you to meet Padawan Obi-wan Kenobi." Qui-Gon said and Anakin smiled.
"Nice to meet you, Obi-wan." he said and Obi-wan nodded smiling. "You too Anakin, it's nice to meet you, I can see we're going to be very good friends these next few years." he said and Anakin nodded. "Yeah I see that too, but big brother, got another 18 months left." he said and Obi-wan nodded in agreement. "Yeah ready mentally, I'm not ready to let go emotionally, I still feel 14 years old after he was attacked by a crazed scientist." he said and Anakin nodded then.
"I get why, but Father, I know a certain dug that deserves a 30 second delay, giving the others that same 30 second head start, but this last race, we give him a lesson in racing fairly now." he said and the entourage started laughing and his mentor chuckled as Qui-Gon nodded smiling in agreement. "Yes just make him the laughing stock of the racing circuit here Annie, we heard the noise over the radio." the pilot said with a chuckle and he nodded gently to him then at that.
"That was a Jedi handi-cap, I ripped off the engine design off my uncle's swoop bike, the Stargliders." he said and his mentor nodded in amazement. "They're farmers, out in Anchorhead, Bestine township, but my mother's future husband lives out there." he said and they nodded smiling gently at that. "Well this just gives the proof needed: Only a Jedi can race pods, as this is a trip to the hospital waiting to happen." Captain Ric Olie said to that gently.
"Father freed me, but my twin is the one considered, but what's considered a pipe dream here, but I'm going of my own accord, but I have to finish him in 7 months. That remark mom gave Father the other night, after you arrived, the slave traders come through here. Every now and again, and we lost a few people, but my best friend lost her mother to these people." he said and he nodded. "So the blood test, you have the same number." his mentor said to him gently.
"I do, we're totally equal in everything, but I'm everything he's not, but before you arrived we had a visitor in a black Jedi robe drop in. And seeing him talking to Andy, I warned him off, and in waiting for you to arrive." he said and they nodded sternly. "Then your brother is now the one that I can consider the dangerous one, as you met me now. And we been talking all that trip back to the capitol, you're my little brother." he said and Anakin nodded gently to him then.
"Yeah that's it exactly big brother, you and me, the Kenobi/Skywalker team now." he said and he looked down smiling and Qui-Gon chuckled at that, knowing the older boy. He was growing attached to their youngest then as he carefully tweaked a few things. And then adjusted something else. "Alright, test check Captain!" he called out and he turned it on, and they heard a gentle humming and then he called out. "It's at full power, Annie." he said with a smile then.
"So I was right, elusive evil, these dangerous versions of Dark Jedi just came back?" his mentor asked and Anakin nodded. "Phantom Menace, this connects back to the Kegan mission to be exact, they were possibly describing my family's war with our Sithmaster." he said and Qui-Gon nodded in shock. "My family, you mean you're married and your kids are the face of the army resistance against his non force sensitive alias?" he asked and Anakin nodded to him gently.
"But not just anyone, I'm married to now." he said and looked at Padme and she smiled gently, realizing he meant her. "Our children, our twins are a brother/sister duo, looks like the boys did the positioning a second time, Threepio with our daughter, Artoo with our son." he said and she chuckled and nodded. "This was really a promise bracelet, and that wood is hard to come by, it's worth billions." she said and he smiled at her, and Qui-Gon smiled, knowing what just happened.
"Our Phantom is hanging around, after his mentor's mentor left, but it, he, our version, is an Irodian, he's here, somewhere." he said and Obi-wan nodded then. "What are they after?" he asked him sternly and he said it with a stern growl. "He's after Padme, as her alias, the queen, to get her to sign that treaty to make the invasion legal. But not going to happen, I got an idea that means we got them here now." he said and they nodded in shocked fury at the news.
"I had the queen with me for the last 3 days?" Qui-Gon said in shock and he nodded. "Those handmaidens are her personal bodyguards, the leader of the trio is her body double. But this idea worked well now, I was the first person she came into contact with here. Before meeting mom and my friends." he said and they nodded. "Your Highness, just tell me next time you want to play hooky, please." he said and Padme Naberrie, AKA Queen Amidala nodded to him then.
"Well that doesn't surprise me you know it's me immediately, those remarks are a double meaning, you saw through them immediately." she said and he nodded. "Well I'm in love, and I know you for you, rather then your alias." he said and Obi-wan covered his eyes. " But yeah your necklace, was a promise bracelet, you know where it came from. Obi-wan, but she belongs to me, but Andy, he's about to become obsessed with her." he said and they all nodded then.
"Relax Obi-wan, until we're the right age we wait, but for now, we're younglings, but right now we're stage one, the best of friends." he said and Obi-wan nodded smiling in relief. "So Qui-Gon, Padme and I are your family, you'd do anything to protect us, but not crossing the line to do so." he said and Anakin nodded. "Exactly, and this is theoretical, but I saw the future that happens if I had, needless to say it matches what the Keganites told Father." he said and they all nodded.
"And the one thing standing between that future and us losing you?" he asked and Anakin nodded. "Saving someone by use of the force, I get that skill the Jedi win again and my own alter ego is turned into a walking double of me, sum years in advance. But as you would say, Andy's anger and his lust for power cost him everything, he allowed it. Our phantom, to twist his mind, till now, now he becomes the very thing he swore to destroy." he said and he nodded.
"Well that answers that, your alter ego is the twin brother, only he's everything you're not, after we met, but I heard the exchange between you and Sebulba. That was to get him riled, before he took the bait, before your mother refused to let Andy get involved. Till you told her this was worth it right now, it gets you off the planet, before our attacker finds you." Qui-Gon said and he nodded to him. "But you're 25 in a bordering preteen body." Obi-wan said and he nodded then.
"But the power of love is a beyond useful thing, as only with trust, patience and the love of friends and family, can you come back and heal. But like your rival, these darksiders all use a single thing to turn an apprentice evil, entice them with power. You take whatever they offer you, you belong to them after that and your rival, that wasn't your fault. He couldn't let go of his hate of you and it destroyed him, as for me and Padme, we'll be fine." he said and they nodded.
"Okay, now we got a problem, the security had a breach here in it, if you can see through my attempts to protect her." Captain Dack Panaka said with a bemused smile and he nodded. "I know, but there's a lot to talk about and we can do it enroute to the capitol, but right now. It's father and I have to get a few hundred thousand for the racer, we're selling it, so mom. She has plenty to afford, my room has to be cleaned up, so 2 maybe 3 hours." he said and he nodded.
"And there's the unfinished business, you have to say good bye, sell that pod and get your transmitter deactivated." Obi-wan said and he nodded, as they heard a loud commotion at the edge of the outskirts then. "Uh oh, yeah Andy or someone started a fight here, I'll be back later, see you in a bit." he said and they nodded, as he left and charged into the melee. "Hey chesko, chesko, so what is this about!" he called out and Amee Farcloud and Kitser Banai sighed then.
"Wald was insulted on your behalf, because Greedo called you a cheater." he said and Anakin nodded, sighing. "Hey Greedo, hate to have to break it to you, but my pod is a Jedi handi-cap." he said sternly and they all nodded in shock. "Only a Jedi can survive a race like this, you're a pre padawan?" She said and he nodded. "Yeah and I deliberately made her looking like a piece of junk." he said and they, Seek Starstreamer and Melie Sunglider started laughing then gently.
"But again, the opinions of others, though negative are something you have to accept, but thank you for defending my honor here, Wald, I appreciate that." he said and Wald Dijoni nodded smiling then. "But guys, before you think I'm not coming back, I am, but I'm freeing all of you next, I just need 7 months training, to make it so no further injuries here." he said and they nodded. "We're going to miss you, but 7 months go by fast." she said and he nodded to her.
"Yeah 7 months goes by fast, but Padme and her entourage are coming back with me, and the said farmer is no farmer at all, he's my father mentor." he said and they nodded in shock. "So we had a Jedi in town, and you appointed yourself, on Jabba's behalf right now. And as their own personal guide, well that explains your warning to Sebulba now. Connected, as in Hutt, I'd hate to see him diced, before you get a chance to race again." Seek said bemused then gently.
"Tell me about it, after I revealed that to Watto and Jabba, they know the Jedi commandeered the planet for a while, my being a town local of possibly two spaceports." he said and they both nodded smiling. "Well you be careful buddy, we'll see you soon." he said and he nodded, as he exchanged hugs with his friends, as he headed for home then, to pack up. "Hey!" he heard and smiled as Qui-Gon arrived then. "These are yours." he said and he smiled as he took the pouch.
"Yes!" he said and as they headed into the apartment. "Mom, we sold the pod!" he said as he did an estimate and felt his heart turn over in shock. "Look at all the money we have, this comes to exactly 450,000 wupiupi." he said and she nodded in shocked delight then. "My goodness!, that's so wonderful, Annie." she said and he smiled. "The deal was for me, but I'm going for an evaluation meeting with the council." he said and they nodded gently to him then at the news.
"So a fast meeting session with the Council, but I figured it out, everyone that is not paying close enough attention, doesn't realize here his alter ego is the twin." Qui-Gon said and she nodded in agreement. "Indeed, he's an only child, but his darker personality is the younger twin, and frankly, he's still on thin ice for not doing his chores." she said and he nodded. "Well we know who's who here, he just met my apprentice, instant connection." he said and she nodded.
"Just pretend the rest of this is Andy and not me, because though wanting to be a Jedi, the pipe dream of reality just caved in right now. But 7 months, before I get to see you, but I'm doing the real 8 years under the Grandmaster and his fellow council members." he told her and she nodded. "And me with them, I made a promise to your mother, I stand by it, you're my youngest padawan, my son." Qui-Gon said and he nodded gently in agreement to that remark.
"Talk about playing two different sides of the conversation, till we clone your alter ego, and have him walking around in the flesh. But Annie did as I asked, I told him, unless it was absolutely necessary don't talk to strangers. But you we can trust completely, as you're part of my family's order, and representative to the grandmaster. And while he's like your current padawan, but Andrus, he is like your padawan's possible late rival." she said and he nodded gently to her.
"Yes, yes I know, but Anakin is the one that walked into me, so we just consider that other debate and Andy himself is Anakin's inner thoughts, come to life." he said and she nodded then, as they had that conversation, knowing that part of him was on consideration. But was likely not to be accepted, though Anakin had been then…
The Jedi Temple And Truths Come Out-Anakin's POV:
Hiding a truth from the council, and knowing what he would tell them, his mentor and older brother would be difficult to hear. He waited for that night's decision then, as he sat in the room they gave him, till they decided, as he looked around his old bedroom. 'Oh I hope tonight works, because they don't take my opinion seriously, it's going to start all over again.' Anakin thought to himself, as his adult mind was now inside his going on 10 body now he sat there.
As he pulled out a set of photos of himself, his mother and his friends then, from his pack, pulling out a pouch that carried a training lightsaber he created then. He closed his eyes and reconstructed it, as the color changed to his natural blue hue then. As it changed forms into his childhood lightsaber and smiled, as it changed to bluish purple. 'Yeah I'm me again.' he said to himself smiling as he waited then gently for the verdict, as he got ready to tell them then.
Looking at the 11 Jedi masters that raised him, the 7 specifically that knew him all his life, he knew there was a single chance, to get them to trust him, he had to tell them what he knew. As he heard the argument repeated between them and his team. "The Force is strong with him." Jedi Master Ki Adi Mundi said and his father mentor said it. "He is to be trained, then?" he said and Anakin sighed. 'Oh Father, I wish it were that easy.' he thought, and the grandmaster froze.
'Oops, yeah he heard that, sorry Master, I'm not trying to be rude, but bad first impression, but after this fight, we have to talk. But as you have said, repeatedly your own council you will keep, they are your voice of reason, you make the final decisions.' he thought to him and the master nodded gently. 'Tell me after this, what know you do.' he thought back to him gently then. "No, he will not be trained." the second in command of the council said sternly to him at that.
"No?" he said in shock then and the man nodded. "He is too old." he said and Anakin thought back to the Grandmaster. 'Not exactly, I'm just the right age here, I can learn, but the reason I am so powerful, is I learned to love, love makes you strong, keeps you grounded. Without love, you have no chance to change back, at all, it works, it saved Obi-wan, saved Father. In the end, but there it is, your lessons in testing are the punchline.' he thought and the master nodded.
'I understand perfectly, but Obi-wan is me as a preteen to just turned 13 year old, but as he said to Siri, I never used to be so cautious, now I am. I understand better than anyone what the trio cause, because impatience, anger, pride and Lust became my down fall. Search my mind, you shall see this in my thoughts, but I am a just returned Jedi turned Sith. My 46 year old mind, is inside this body, I am a Jedi master, more accurately the last remaining one now."
"From an alternate future, where the Sith wiped us out, by using me to do so.' he thought and the grandmaster nodded sternly. 'Indeed, sense that I do in your mind, but your soul though beaten black and blue, carry you do. The strength and firm-ness I see in Master Windu now, like you lost so many loved ones, including us.' he said and he looked down and the Grandmaster felt his heart sink at that, and a humanoid woman felt that.
And froze up in shock. 'My alter ego wrecked my life, I started losing all of you one by one, till the premonition of my wife dying in child-birth, by a miscarriage. And you and Obi-wan just made it, my alter ego could have killed all 3 of them at once. By cutting off her oxygen, all my friends are dead, and even if I had survived, they would see me. As nothing more than my alter ego, a Sithlord, my soul got sent back to now, for your lesson punchline.' he said to him then.
'Punchline, Dooku and Lorian Nod, Bruck and Obi-wan, that lesson in testing a friendship?' the woman in front of him said and he nodded. 'Yes, the only thing I'm afraid of is to lose someone I love, failure is fine, I can handle that. But failure is how we learn, keeps you humble, success you learn nothing, it feeds the arrogance. Failure is how we learn, make a mistake and correct it, we're padawans, students.' he thought gently and they nodded gently.
'But I understand perfectly, fear to lose someone leads to desperation to prevent it, desperation leads to anger at what is preventing you from coming to the conclusion. Anger leads to hate at what delayed you, or took that special someone from you, and hate. If not checked at the door leads to something you can never take back, say Nomi and her lightsaber.' he said and Master Yoda nodded, knowing he got his first lesson immediately as they heard the debate get worse.
"He is the chosen one, you must see it." he said and the grandmaster checked his aura then. "Clouded this boy's future is." he said and Anakin thought it to him. 'That's my alter ego not me, read my aura again, because there's something else showing.' he thought and he heard a gentle remark. 'Indeed, your aura crystal clear it, but shining with a new maturity, like returned from a mission of intel you have.' he said gently and Anakin nodded gently then.
"Very well I will train him, then." they heard and Anakin froze up. 'Oh gods, this is what barely got him killed, before he breaks orders, we got to talk.' he thought and the they both nodded. "I take Andrus as my Padawan learner." he said and Jedi Grandmaster, Master Yoda said it gently. "An apprentice you have already, Qui-Gon: Impossible to take on a second." he said and Anakin said it. 'New tradition, team trios, I'm cub padawan.' he thought and they both nodded gently.
"The code forbids it." The second in command said arrogantly then, and Anakin hid a shake of his head. 'Control that arrogance indeed, young man.' he heard from the grandmaster and he nodded sternly then to that. "Obi-Wan is ready." his father mentor said gently and, before they could answer, his brother stepped forward. "I am ready to face the trials." his brother said, trying to control the anger and betrayal in his voice then and Anakin hid a sigh at his pain.
