Nix: -appears- What is this madness?
Me: ITS PAPER!
Nix: -wide eyes- OH MY GUMPANZEES! IT'S A PIECE OF WHITE TREE! -pumps fist-
Shade: -runs in, carrying a large pumpkin full of underwear- Has anyone seen a leperchaun with a some tidy whiteys?
Nix: -evil grin- Yea, he went that way! -points toward a cliff-
Shade: Thanks...-runs off- REVENGE IS MINEEEEEE! -falls off cliff- AWKLJAFOH!
Me: HAHAHAH!
Dusk: Aren't you the least bit worried?
Me: Meh, he'll be back..
Nix: unfortunately...

The November air was cold on Severus's bare arms and he regrets not snatching a jacket before he left the house. His parents were fighting for the fifth time in the past three days and Severus was losing his patience. He had left in a hurry, knowing if he didn't, he would end up getting hurt by the objects they were surely going to hurl at each other.
He didn't have a destination in mind, so he simply followed the old, beaten down sidewalk.
He walked for several minutes in the silence, until he found himself at a small park.
The park wasn't much, just two sets of swings and a slide, which were almost always abandoned. Today, however, two girls were on the swings.
They were giving small shouts of joy as they swung higher and higher in the air. Severus wasn't a stalker, but there was something about the two that just caught his attention.
He found himself staring at the fiery red head, who eyes held a dreamy gaze, as if she was in her own little world.
Without realizing it, Severus had started to move closer and his foot caught on a small rock that was half buried in the dirt. With a yelp of surprise, he tumbled forward and fell of his back. He lay like that, spots dancing in his closed eyelids, before registering a sting of pain on his cheek.
Abruptly he opened his eyes to see the fiery red head standing over him and he could feel his face turning red, when he registered his incident didn't go un-noticed.
He snapped out of it when the red head held out a hand to him and after a moments hesitating, he grasped it. She helped him up and when Severus was fully standing, he noticed he was only a bit taller than her.
With a start, he acknowledged her emerald colored eyes, exactly like his sister's had once been. He felt a pang of sadness at the thought of his sister, only to be brought back to the present when the red head spoke.
"My names Lily. . Petunia and I just moved in down the street." she pointed toward a white house on the end of the street. He figured Petunia was the other girl, who seemed to be giggling at Severus's fall. He scowled and Lily snorted
"Don't mind her," she leaned toward Severus. "She's a bit of a pain sometimes." she giggled and despite himself, he gave a small smile.
A shout in the distance stopped Lily's giggle fit and she flashed another grin at him, heading towards Petunia.
Severus could only watch as the two girls, made their way to their house and it was only then that he realized something.
Lily had left him speechless.
Me: YAY! All done!
Nix: After overusing several words and finished with the worst ending ever...
Shade: Meh...It was better than that Taco Bell Boy..-shudder-
Nix: Now that was a flipping nightmare...
Me: Whatever...
Nix: Just wanted to say...this was like when Severus and Lily were like around the 7-9 age...yeah...
Me: It's kinda boring...BUT I HAD TO GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD!
Nix: Whatever...Anyway...F.A.R...
