His eyes opened slowly as he groaned.
Oh god, what had happened last night..? Judai sat up and rubbed his temples. Everything was a blur, he couldn't remember anything. Maybe he'd ask Johan.. Maybe he knew.
Johan.. I have to see Johan. He got out of bed, pulled on a shirt and some pants he found lying around, and silently peered into Johan's room.
He's.. not here. Where could he be..? At the exact moment thoughts of Johan's whereabouts wandered into his mind, he heard the quiet sobbing of the bluenette as he spun around and was pulled into an embrace.
"Johan.. W-what's wrong..?" Johan cried into his shoulder, holding him tighter as he shook slightly.
"J-Judai.. Y-You said.. You said you wouldn't drink anymore.. You promised.. But you still did…"
The brunette's eyes widened as he felt a sudden pang of despair. It had happened again, hadn't it? He had gotten wasted, came home, and treated Johan like he was some cheap item.
"..I-I didn't mean.. I'm s-sorry.. I didn't mean t-to.. I won't anymore…"
Johan's eyebrows curved sadly as he pulled back. He knew it was going to happen again.. He knew Judai would drink again, despite all the times he promised he wouldn't. Was he supposed to mind? It made Judai happy, and that's all he wanted. So why wasn't he happy? He loved Judai with all his heart, and he knew Judai loved him too. So why was he so unhappy about all this? His lips curved into a forced smile.
"It's alright.. I'm just.. Glad you're here.. With me." Judai did love him.. Right? He wasn't just something that Judai could do whatever he wanted to, whenever he wanted? No, why was he even asking this? Judai had a drinking problem, that's all. Nothing more, nothing less. He wasn't using him. Judai really loved him.. right?
