Well here's another chapter for you good people
Sorry for the late post up of this chapter but I've been busy but now I'm free
The fourth Hokage sat around fiddling with a tri-pronged kunai in his hand
His assistant stepped inside his office and placed some tea on the table
When Minato reached for the cup ad picked it up the cup immediately broke
"Damn, not a good sign...maybe it's Kakashi I did give him that kunai" He said out loud to himself
Naruto opened his eyes when He found that Hinata wasn't with him
"At least she fell for it…But it wont be long before I do die though…A shinobi doesn't fear death, in fact it's the only way for a shinobi to be free of their duties" Naruto said to himself as a matter of fact way of speaking "Besides she'll be more safe with the uchiha rather than me" He said sadly to himself
Naruto then laid there a bloody mess waiting for his end, because of the massive blood loss
"At least the mission is complete. This is the true way for a shinobi's end, we were taught to be tools" He thought to himself
He closed his eyes to rest but at that moment he sensed a passing presence, it turned out to be an Iwa shinobi…don't know what he was doing so far out here, the shinobi stopped and looked at Naruto
"Well, well, well is this who I think it is? Do my Shinobi eyes deceive me? Is that my old Friend Uzumaki of the bloody whirlpool" He said mocking Naruto
Naruto let out a low growl
"Well I'll take that as a yes…I'm sure having your head handed to the Tsuchikage would surely raise my status when I get back to my village" He said with a smirk as he raised his sword "Look at you all helpless, like a bear stuck in a trap…you should've helped me on that mission long ago…and I probably would've been nicer" He said angrily as he started to bring down his sword
Naruto didn't flinch or close his eyes he stared straight into the eyes of a killer immobilized because of the injury he was already sustaining, Naruto decided to just close his eyes and let what was coming to him commence
Hinata was approaching the front Gate of the Uchiha Compound; she had some tears in her eyes
"Naruto's such an idiot" She said with her fist Clenched
Two guards appeared in front of her with a poof of smoke
"State your business" One of the Guards stated sternly
"I am Hyuga Hinata" She said sadly
The other Guard bowed and spoke up"Lady Hyuga, where have you been so long?…Sasuke-sama has been patiently awaiting your arrival"
"There was many hold ups" She stated grimly
"Arent there more of you from Konoha?" The first guard pried
"There was, and if you guys don't mind…I would like to get inside and forget about everything" She said a little harshly
"No problem" They nodded as they led her through the gate
Hinata walked through the gate and watched as she passed a beautiful garden and some very beautiful buildings, she saw horses and even Ninja training
"He's got a lot" She said to herself
As she made it into the building where Sasuke was located she saw him being fed by women who were half dressed
"Sasuke-sama" One of the Ninja called
"What the hell? Don't you see me eating- oh Hinata it's been a long time hasn't it" He said as he shooed away the women
"What?" Hinata said not remembering
"We met when we were younger" He said flatly wondering why she wasn't happy to see him, I mean all girls were happy to see him, Sasuke was a dude with black hair that spiked up in the back in a sort of birds tail fashion, he had some of the darkest eyes you'd ever see
"So Hinata, if you wash up then we can get this wedding ceremony over with" HE said with a bored not caring expression
"Wait Ceremony…so soon?" She asked him with disbelief
"Well it has been over, I don't know like 4 months but who's counting" He said with sarcasm laced in his voice much to Hinata's annoyance
"Um…ok" She said as someone directed her to the washroom
Naruto had his eyes closed as he waited and waited, he did feel blood splash onto him but obviously it wasn't his
"You ok?" He heard a familiar voice ask
"Wait is that you Hokage-sama?" He asked with his eyes closed
"I thought I told you to call me dad" He said sweat dropping and shaking his head as he tossed the shinobi who threatened his son to the side
"Well dad…the mission is complete"
"Always the mission before your own well being huh Naruto?" He said
"Well there wont be anymore of me because I already lost too much blood and toke a pretty bad hit…there's nothing left for me but darkness" he stated darkly
"Just like you…you know you have the fastest man on earth next to you and yet your still pessimistic…I mean come on Naruto…I'm you father, its ok to show your emotions…your not just a tool for a village you're a human, be sad, angry, happy, surprised…just be your self" He said "sometimes I wish I never chose to send you to all those different countries while you were still a child…and for that I'm sorry you never had a good childhood…especially since I was never there" he said sadden
Naruto started to actually cry, which surprised Minato to no end
"Dad…it's alright…I wish I heard this from you before…but now it's too late…cause now I cant feel my legs, and my heart hurts cause Hinata isn't here, and I'm angry at myself for letting it come to this" Naruto said as he started to fade from all the stress from all the emotions spilling out at once, His breathing became fast and he started to lose consciousness
Minato was happy his son was showing emotions until he saw the breakdown that was going down right infront of him
"Naruto hold on!" Minato yelled, which was the last thing Naruto heard before fading out completely
Hinata stood there in the mirror wearing the ceremonial marriage dress, she sighed as one of the servants knocked
"Come in" She answered
"Hinata-sama, are you ready?" the Servant asked
"I guess so" she answered reluctantly
"Follow me" He said as he led her towards the garden area where it was being held
The servant brought Hinata over to a room where she would come out to meet the groom
"So Miss Hyuga you look reluctant" a mysterious voice spoke up
"Who are you?" She asked
"Me, I'm that spoiled brats brother, Itachi Uchiha at your service" He said giving her a quick bow
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance" She said to him "And yes I am reluctant…you see there was this boy…" She trailed off
"oh I see…you know I don't need to know the whole story to know your not comfortable marrying some punk you don't know rather than being with someone you truly love…my thoughts are go where your heart truly is" He said truthfully to her "That what I did…which is why I'm not clan head, but its alright" he said with a chuckle, Hinata chuckled too
"But what about your brother? Hinata asked feeling guilty for making him wait only to back out
"Well you can still go through with it if you want, but to me it looks like he's more infatuated with this pink hair girl from Konoha anyway…it's your choice" He said to her while walking away leaving Hinata there to ponder to herself
The music started breaking Hinata from her thoughts; she grabbed the bouquet someone passed her and walked out with Itachi's arm hooked with his since her father wasn't there
After she reached the alter it was time for the pastor to speak
After all was said and don it came up to the I do's
Hinata was to busy with her thoughts of what Itachi told her and her views on it to hear the pastor
"Miss Hyuga?"
"Umm yes" she answered
"Do you take Sasuke to be your husband" He asked Hinata looked at Itachi and everyone in the room
While all that was happening about the same time Naruto was in the emergency room of Konoha hospital, while Tsunade was giving her all to help him along with other medic Ninjas
"Were losing him" One of the medics called out loud
"Keep working!" Shizune Called to all the medic nins as they all wre using a lot of chakra
"Don't over exert yourself!" Tsunade called to everyone "Remember it's also the will of the patient that determines if they pull through or not" She explained to them
Back with Hinata
"Do you?" The pastor asked
"I...I…"
Will Hinata Marry Sasuke? will Naruto die? Will the next chapter be the last find out next time on one life to liv- I mean Naruto Ninja for Hire
Wow crazy way to come back to a chapter huh
