He watched the children with sad eyes. The war left many of them without families and the orphanage as only home. Still they had the courage to form a new bigger family and go on. Watching them open their Christmas gifts gave him hope for a better future.
His caught sight of her across the room and his heart made a backflip. He felt a tag on his leg and looked down only to see little Damian smiling mischievously.
"What's up little guy?" The little boy giggled.
"I think you like Hermione!"He said and left a very surprised Draco alone.
