It's not a graphic description beyond mentions of blood, but CW for preterm/premature labor and complications. I did some cursory research into Old Norse childbirth customs to keep it feeling like the world of the movies, but like the world of the movies, it's not 100% historically accurate, nor is it meant to be.

In an alternate turn of events, after Astrid is blinded by lightning she is kidnapped by Viggo. Who hides her away. The Riders are forced to race against the clock to get their injured friend back before it is too late and she is unable to get her sight back.

What if when before hiccups mom was taken and got the cut on his cheek while hiccup was laughing at the dragon that the gods of both man and dragons decide he is the one to bring an end to the war between vikings and dragons so they give him a gift or should I say gifts!  Also this is a hiccup/astrid/and heather pairing i hope you enjoy it! :)
