It had been at least a week now since the break up. Everything was such a drag to me now. Even talking to my friends was bitter to me. I hated how I let Angela go and how I was turning into such a party pooper. 25% of my friends were growing tired of my depressing aura that was extremely contagious. Cory and Topanga were getting more concerned everyday. No matter how hard I tried, each passing day I found myself slipping into a deep black hole of misery…

I was in 4th period class. I was ignoring everyone who was speaking and only listening to myself whimper inside. "Mr. Hunter would you care to explain what year world war one happened?" Ms. Kipper's annoying high pitched voice asked. I give her the time of day. This was a bad idea, because Kippers certainly didn't have patience for bullshit from her students. "Shawn Hunter!" she boomed. I could fell everyone's eyes on me now. I left my head buried on my desk.

A knock on the classroom door was what brought my head up. There stood a beauty that was unbearable. She carried her book bag slung over one shoulder, and a folder of papers in her free hand. "May I help you young lady?" Kippers voice broke the silence. She made her way to the teacher, strutting in those black heels. She handed Kippers the papers without saying a word. The entire classroom gazed at her in awe. She wore a tight black skirt that stopped to her knee. Beneath the skirt she wore some skin toned leggings. She had on a black sparkly long sleeved shirt that fit her just perfect. Her face was just like angels. She had the most unique color of skin. I could not decide weather it was similar to caramel, or a sort of almond color. She plump full lips that were covered in a shade of dark red lipstick. It almost matched her fiery red hair that was in beautiful waves that fell a little beneath her breasts. On the right lower corner of her mouth was a black piercing. Her cheekbones were high. Her eyebrows were arched, which gave her an intimidating expression to her. But what I loved most about her were her large almond shaped eyes. They were exotic…they were hypnotizing…they were hazel colored.

Ms. Kippers noticed that she stole the attention from her. I saw Ms. Kippers eyed her up and down from the corner of her beady eyes. "So, Raquel is your name?" Kippers asked. Raquel! The perfect name for a perfect girl… Raquel looked at the teacher with the one eye that her swept bangs didn't cover, and nodded. "It says here you're from Chicago…Why the sudden move from there to here?" Kippers interrogated. You could tell Kippers didn't like her. Maybe it was because of her beautiful looks, or maybe it was because she had the spotlight, who knows. Raquel smacked her gum loudly, and shrugs.

Ms. Kipper's eyes turned into slits as Raquel smacked her gum again. "Ms. Reyes there is no gum chewing in my class!" The voice bounced across the walls, busting everyone's ears along the way. Raquel stared at her with the same blank cute expression. Ms. Kippers face started going red as the new girl didn't seem affected by the loud screeching. She instead smirked and rolled her eyes with no regret.

"Spit. It. Out." Raquel looked at her with threatening eyes. There was a violent glow behind them. She reached into her bag, and pulled out a folded wrinkly paper. "What is this?" Ms. Kippers. Raquel handed it to, and leaned casually against her desk she begun to explain, "It's a note from Mr. Feeny that explains why I was expelled from my last school." With hesitation, Ms. Kippers slowly unfolded the note. Her eyes quickly ran across the paper; her complexion turning to a scary shade of pale. Even her little small beady eyes popped wide open. She glanced back towards the new girl. Raquel gave a smile; she was enjoying Ms. Kipper's reaction.

"Umm well Ms. Reyes –gulp- just sit in an empty seat." Raquel's beautiful eyes roamed the class, till finally she found the only empty desk; which happened to be next to mines.

She walked her pretty self towards me, and sat down. Everyone was staring at her, but she acted like it was nothing. Ms. Kipper was still scary pale. "Uh, kids…read pages 14-20. I'll be back." And with that, she practically ran out the class. And of course like any normal classroom, it roared in chatter as soon as the teacher left. Cory turned around and joined me as we stared at Raquel. She had pulled out a nail file and ignored the comments and whispers of everyone else. The girl looked amazing. Her hair, her face, her body… was just flawless. She was definitely something different.
