Chapter 3-The Talk
Emma's POV
"Emma the sergeant would like to talk to you regarding Harry's shooting and your son's kidnapping" The nurse spoke softly
"Okay has Louis had any luck yet please tell me my baby is ok" I begged her.
"Im not allowed telling you sweetheart the police have to tell you im sorry" She whispered
"Okay thank you" I replied as a tear made its way down my face.
"I will send him in here so you can stay with Mr Styles" she said walking out the room.
"Thank you" I whispered turning back to Harry.
"Harry I know you can't reply but what am I going to do? I can't lose you and I defiantly can't lose Leon I love you both too much. Why did the nurse say she can't tell me and not just say they haven't found him yet" I cried into Harrys hand holding it tight.
"Please don't leave me I love you" I said then I heard a coughing behind me.
"Erm…sorry about that sergeant hello" I rushed.
"It's okay miss I just need to have a quick word but first I must tell you something" he replied
"Okay…" I hesitated
"Your son has just been rushed into hospital he has not yet arrived and as soon as he does you may see him but he got beaten up quite badly and is currently in a coma, he was lucky your friend Mr Tomlinson I think it is got to him in time or he could have died on the scene im so sorry" As soon as he said this I burst out crying.
"Would you like me to return later?" He asked.
"No im okay let's get this out the way the sooner the better" I replied still sniffing.
"Okay now I would like to talk to you about Anthony Waters, how do you know him?" he asked calmly
"He is Leon's Father" I whispered
"Oh so he is an ex-boyfriend then" The sergeant asked.
"Well not exactly" I replied
"Please explain Emma don't be afraid" He hushed
"I've never talked about that night to anyone not even Louis" I explained
"Well it might help us with the case if you tell us" he said
"Okay, well I was at a party and I was the only one who didn't drink so I was just wandering around trying to find my friends when I bumped into him and he started saying things to me then all his mates crowded round me and took me out the house until we reached the alleyway the same one Harry was shot in yesterday and they pushed me to the ground until Anthony came near to me and he started to remove my clothing and as much as I screamed and shouted no and told him to stop he wouldn't he just continued and then he well he…"
"Emma I know this is uncomfortable but please continue" the sergeant pushed
"He got his friends to beat me up while he raped me I couldn't do anything about it I tried but I couldn't I just there weak and drained but when they left after adding a few more kicks I managed to get the strength to move and I put my clothes back on and walked home which was luckily just around the corner and ran upstairs to clean myself up so my parents didn't suspect anything and when I found out I was pregnant a month later they just assumed I'd drunkenly slept with someone at that party"
"How come you never came to the police with this case it is very serious you do realise that don't you" the sergeant asked
"Yes I know but I was scared I was only 14 I was so scared I wouldn't go anywhere not even when my parents moved us to a little village for a year so no one back home knew I was pregnant I was terrified" I mumbled
"Okay Emma I don't think im going to ask you anything else for the time being as this seems to be enough but thank you for your time I'll send the nurse in to inform you about your son okay?"
"Yes thank you sergeant" I replied turning back to Harry.
"Im so sorry you had to hear that I really am im so sorry for everything Harry I should just leave all of you alone after all this pain I've caused you all"
"Emma hunny your friend and son have arrived there's also a boy here called Liam who is going to keep Harry Company while you go see to your son okay?" the nurse said startling me a little.
I just nodded and gave Harry a kiss on the forehead before following the nurse out to go see Leon.
As we approached the waiting room I saw Liam and Louis sat on the chairs I ran up to them both and wrapped them in a big hug crying again.
"Erm…excuse me hello im nurse Zana and I am Leon's nurse and you and Louis are welcome to see him now and I will explain his condition" Nurse Zana said
"Yeah okay" I nodded grabbing tight hold of Louis's hand and following nurse Zana to find out my son's fate.
