This story is about how Uotani came to get her job as a bodyguard for Tomoyo in my other fanfic, In the Blink Of An Eye. It's not really hard to think of Uo as a bodygurad, especially with as protective as she is with Tohru. And I san so see her using her yankee skill to her advantage in this job...

A Cance Meeting...

Sonoma shifted uneasily on the train seat. It had been years since she had ridden the train… but her car was in the shop, and her chauffer had not been able to locate a replacement before her next meeting which unfortunately was in Shibuya, and in no less than thirty minutes…Fortunately the car they were in was relatively empty, so she sat across a pair of young women who were gabbing on about college.

"I'm so proud of you Tohru!" the blonde girl hugged what appeared to be the more timid of the two.

"I just happy to have gotten into Tokyo University with you and Hana… And of course Kyo."

"So how is Carrot top doing anyways? I never see him anymore."

"He's been training with his father."

"Ah."

"Hello there. May I sit next to you?" a young man smiled at them.

The blonde frowned at him but the brunette smiled and moved her bag for him.

"Do you really think that Kazuma likes Hana back?"

"I think so. They both seem to get a dreamy look in their eyes…" Tohru squeaked and scooted closer to Uotani as the young man laid his hand next to her leg.

"I think Carrot top would have a fit if she became his new mother." Uotani glared at the young man as he slipped his hand under Tohru's skirt. "Hey!" Uo yelled and pulled the pervert out of his seat and pinned him to the floor with a knee.

"Look you jackass she was kind enough to let you sit next to her but for you to pull this bullshit is unacceptable!." Uo said twisting his arm until he groaned in pain. She released his arm and took her foot off of him. "Now get out of here before I really make you regret it." she said as she dusted her uniform off.

The young man stood up and rubbed his arm before taking a swing at Uotani who ducked before giving him a well placed punch to the stomach and a knee to the groin.

"Come on Tohru, This is our stop."

"Right." her slightly frazzled friend chirped and followed her out.

Sonoma who had been watching the fight with interest noticed that the timid one had left her bag. She bolted after the two barely making it off the train. "Young lady wait!"

"Hn?" Uo turned to see a well dressed business lady running after them. "You forgot your bag!"

"Ah?" Tohru panicked before she profusely began to thank the woman as she was handed her bag. "Oh gosh thank you!"

"It's no problem." Sonoma smiled. "Actually what you did in there for you friend here was rather admirable."

"I'd protect Tohru with my life. After all she is like a sister to me." Uo replied.

"I like your spunk. And you've got skill too…" Sonoma looked Uotani over. "My name is Daidouji Sonoma."

"Uotani Arissa and this is Tohru Honda."

"It is a pleasure to meet you both." Sonoma smiled. "Now miss Uotani If you ever need a job I've one that could use your particular qualities.."

"Misstress!" the bodyguard came running up. "I've procured a taxi that will get us to your meeting! But if we don't hurry you'll be late."

"Ah! I almost forgot! Well it was nice meeting you girls! And I really do hope to meet you again miss Uotani!" Sonoma waved as she jogged off into the station.

"Use my particular qualities..?" Uo frowned as she looked at the card in her hand…
