Frank POV

I nervously walked into the cafeteria. I wasn't sure if Gerard was there or not. Luckily he was. I spotted him two other boys. One had hair that could only be explained as an afro. The other one had blonde hair, but I couldn't see what it looked like because he was sitting with his back to me.

Gerard noticed me awkwardly standing near the door and waved my other, motioning for me to come to them. So I did.

"Hey Frank," he said as I sat next to him. "Guys, this is Frank. The guy with the afro is Ray and the other is Bob."

"So you're the guy Gerard was talking about," Ray looked at me from head to foot. "Nice to meet you."

"Hey, Ray, get some food with me," Bob got up. Ray followed Bob to the food line, which was quite long, so they'd be gone for awhile.

"I don't think they like me," I watched them leave.

"What makes you think that? I mean, yes, Bob decided to leave without talking to you, but he does that when he wants to talk to one of us without the other hearing." Gerard reassured me.

"Oh, okay," I whispered, picking at my sandwich that I brought.

"So, fag, you got yourself a new boyfriend. I don't recognize this guy," a guy sneered at us, his cronies also laughing.

I just blushed and stared at my sandwich. Gerard on the other hand muttered something under his breath about them being jealous fucktards. He turned to me and smiled.

"I'm sorry about them," he looked a little sad.

"No, it's okay Gerard. I'm used to it. Worse things happened at my old school then being called a fag," I smiled, still blushing a little due to what the guy had said about me being Gerard's boyfriend. I guess I kind of liked Gerard.

"No, Frankie, it's not okay," he eyes grew stern.

I just blushed a deeper color of red due to the use of my new nickname. He muttered something about me being cute, which made my heart flutter.

"Gerard, are you putting your move on Frank?" Bob joked, noticing my blush.

"What makes you think that?" Gerard sounded a little defensive, and I thought I noticed a faint blush on his cheeks.

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe because Frank's blushing," Bob smiled.

"Bob, leave them alone," Ray swatted Bob with his spoon. "Frank's new, he doesn't need people over hearing you making them thing he's gay."

But they'd be right I thought, watching Ray and Bob bicker.

Gee POV

Frankie didn't talk much after Bob and Ray came back. He kept glancing at me, and then quickly looking away if I caught his gaze, blushing of course. God, he's so cute, I thought, smiling. I acted without thinking and grabbed his hand. This action caused him to blush the deepest shade of red I've ever seen on a human.

"Gerard, what I did you just grab on him?" Bob lifted an eyebrow.

"Just his hand, Pervert," I laughed.

Frankie was still blushing, maybe even more because of Bob's comment. The encouraging thing was that Frankie didn't take his hand away from me; he actually laced his fingers with mine. This was a good sign. He smiled a shy smile at me when I looked over at him. He was a cutie.

No more denying this, I'm gay I thought, gently stroking Frankie's thumb with my thumb. And I like Frankie.

"What are you thinking Gerard?" Ray knew me well, maybe because he was always at my house and because he was friends with Mikey.

"Nothing important," I responded, looking up from my food to Ray.

"Whatever you say," Ray didn't believe me. Of course he didn't, who did?

The bell signaling that it was time for us to go to our next class rang loudly through the cafeteria, causing Frankie to jump and take his hand back. Ray and Bob chuckled as we all stood up.

"Gee, what do you have next?" Frankie asked.

"P.E.," I grimaced.

"Same," he looked happy, maybe because he was in another class with me. He was cute when he was happy. He looked like a puppy almost, a puck puppy mind you.

"Well, shall we walk together?" I asked with a gentleman like voice.

"Why yes, I think we shall," he responded in the same voice.

We both laughed like little school girls and made our way to P.E.
