"I am Groot, I am Groot." Branchie said softly climbing onto Casey's bed, knowing what today was which she knew the female-cub had been looking forward to, since she'd sent her paperwork to the campus administration plus the female-Grootling could smell the special breakfast which Rocket was making jumping on her friend's bed feeling Casey begin to stir smirking at Branchie.
"Holy crutack it's today, it's finalky today." she joyfully exclaimed getting ready using her super-speed power to get dressed in her signature attire packing her backpack remembering her hero armour she'd created on Wondergore in her art studio seeing Branchie pointing to a paw-print crest with the initals RG on it seeing Casey grinning.
"My hero name is Raccoon Girl, I came up with it a lomg time agi when I play dress up, but modified it to be actual armour as for power-practice, we have to wear armour, and hope nobody flips out when I show them my many powers." she explained zipping up her backpack hearing Rocket calling her and Branchie for breakfast relieved she was dressed and ready after Branchie had woken her.
"It's okay for Branchie to eat pancakes, I don't wanna mess up or hurt her." Casey told Rocket.
"It's fine and like uncle Groot, she has a sweet tooth." he replied to her relieving her, only another Branchie related thought crossed her mind.
"What about Branchie, while I'm at school, it's not faur to leave her here on her own." she said making Rocket smile as she was being a good friend to Branchie, thinking and asking questions so she could help her Grootling thrive.
"She's gonna hang ojt with her mom and dad, but you're doing a great job, don't worry aboht being perfect or doing things right." Rocket told her as they were finishing up breakfast, grabbing her backpack seeing Branchie on Casey's shoulder leaving the apartment heading to Avengers Campus only when they got there, Rocket noticed how quiet Casey was, guessing her excitement was turning to anxiety seeing all the kids feeling Branchie squeeze behind her furry ear gently making Rocket grin.
"I am Groot, I am Groot." he heard her saying before climbing off her onto him
"Thanks Branchie, have fun with your mom and dad." Casey replied scampering off, to join the other kids following them ijto the building to the auditorium sitting in the front row, covering her furry ears with her paws because the other kids were excited like her, they were just being too loud until Dean Carol quitened them down which made Casey in awe, seeing her using her photon blasts alomg with the other kids.
"Alright, alright, Dean Carol's amazing but the rest of the faculty is just as awesome." Casey heard a familar voice saying, her eyes wide seeing her brother and hearing he was the vice-dean but would talk to him later, when the other kids were not around, paying attention to things only anxious hearing the medical team had to give them check-ups as she was only used to her dad and Dr Ball giving her and Rocket check ups or taking care of them, when hurt or sick.
"You okay kiddo, worried about the check-up huh and found out I'm the vice-dean." Rocket said to her as she was waiting for her turn to do check-ups seeing her nodding explaining she trusted their dad to give her a check-up understanding hugging her hearing her asking, if Branchie was okay seeing him nodding.
"She's in the kindergarten room, her mom is the teacher, so that way she can kinda experience school, just like you." he assured her which madeca smile cross her furry face at this, so they could help her with what she was learning entering with him letting the medical-team check her out, only Rocket noticed some of the doctors writing things down involving the therapists making Rocket curious along with Casey following him.
