Disclaimer: Stupid idea that would never work out because of various factors involved, please indulge me on this one.
Nero honestly kind of wishes things could maybe kinda slow down just a bit?
He and Dante had just saved Fortuna from the Savior and His Holiness like 3 days ago and all of a sudden the world itself decided that, despite his demonic heritage he'd be the perfect wielder for every Holy weapon that had ever been made, or at least it damn well felt like it.
Seriously, first it had been Caliburn of all swords showing up in a building under renovation he'd happened to be passing through, then he'd been impaled(so that's what it felt like... sorry Dante) by Durandal just hours later, and after that he'd been smacked upside the back of the head by a strange drill like sword on his way to the recently reopened soup kitchen.
Honestly, Nero just hoped that whatever was about to go down would at least have the common decency to allow him to leave the city before shit hit the fan.
Shit is about to hit the fan hard. How hard you ask? Think Singularity levels of hard. "How can Nero, the grandson of a Demon wield holy weapons, and why would Alaya/Gaia give him weapons like Caliburn of all things in the first place?" This is gonna sound really edgy/gary stuish but Nero's mother in this world/timeline was a direct descendant of King Arthur(yes this is a Proto Saber timeline), the World would have given him proper tests later down the line(think post DMC5) but this specific variation of the DMC X Type Moon timeline doesn't have the luxury of slowly molding Nero into a Hero. Also, Magic and Magecraft are far better here than in other timelines because of how much Mystery/Prana/Mana there is to go around, on account of the Demons and what not. Also, as this is a Proto Saber timeline, neither HGW 4 or 5 have occurred in this timeline.
