Arriving on the moon, the girls undid their transformations and were immensely relieved to see everything was the same. King Apollo and Queen Serenity were waiting for them. "Thank you for safely delivering them back to us, Charon." Queen Serenity graciously thanked the boatman.
"No need, my Queen. It is always a pleasure to serve you and your fellow monarchs. You've all been kind to me, minus Ragnarok and Lilith." Charon laughed uncomfortably.
"Girls, we have a wonderful surprise for you!" King Apollo called to them.
"What is it?!" Gracie questioned excitedly, as she loved surprises.
"Your parents and the Dark Kingdom Senshi have come to visit!" Queen Serenity replied cheerily.
"Wonderful is not the word I'd use..." Chibiusa did not know what word she would use to describe the tremendous dread she felt!
"So close...if we had just a couple more minutes!" Christen moaned.
"Now, I've made them promise me not to be too harsh on you. But, regardless, you must realize the damage this could have caused." Queen Serenity forewarned.
"It wasn't our fault! If Jewel wasn't so ungainly-" Christen started to dispute.
"No one blames you for that. However, it was decided by all of you to bring her and her Dark Kingdom Senshi to the Moon Mystifer. Also, whatever you did after that now is a part of history." King Apollo firmly clarified.
"Did vanquishing Ragnarok and Lilith harm Hotaru?" Chibiusa questioned fearfully.
"When I saw her, she seemed satisfactory." Queen Serenity remained uncertain which circumstances might have been re-written. She only hoped it did not hurt anyone or alter anything too drastically.
Surprisingly, when the girls entered the Throne Room, their parents were getting to know their biological parents. Except for Ragnarok and Lilith. At first, it seemed no one had time to be furious at them. Suddenly Chibiusa spotted her parents, who did not look pleased. Neo-Queen Serenity held Jewel by her arm, and King Endymion watched the Dark Kingdom Senshi!
"Jewel..." Chibiusa still was a bit sore with her half-sister for the mistake. However, Gracie seemed more sympathetic as she hugged Jewel. As did Crystal and Alexis Ariel, Holly, Emily, and Trisha forgave her too.
"Sorry, sis. I had to tell your parents what I did." Even if it was a mistake, Jewel knew she would be disciplined.
"...I forgive you." Chibiusa embraced her, deciding to side with her friends, and she knew forgiveness was the best option.
Neo-Queen Serenity let go of Jewel as so many people hugged her. However, she required her daughter's attention, "Usagi Small Lady Serenity!" Chibiusa turned to her mother.
"Understand this. I don't completely condemn you for disrupting time and space. Furthermore, I'm delighted you've met your grandparents. Nevertheless, informing me, you knew about the Moon Mystifier would be best. We don't keep secrets like that in our family." Neo-Queen Serenity stated, her blue eyes blazing.
"I know. I'm sorry, Mom." Chibiusa replied with her head hung low.
"That goes for your team too. Yet, I will allow their parents to decide their punishment." Neo-Queen Serenity glanced at her companions. They're debating with their grandparents on different punishments.
"Neo-Queen Serenity, please, don't punish Chibiusa or the others for my clumsiness!" Jewel pleaded.
"I'm not going to punish her for the accident. Nonetheless, she shouldn't have hatched this plan in the first place." Neo-Queen Serenity made it clear Chibiusa and Jewel were both at fault.
Then, Chibiusa noticed two people she did not recognize. A man and a woman with black hair and blue eyes. Except the woman has slightly darker skin, similar to Setsuna. They both wore styles you would see on the royals of Earth.
"Who are they?" Chibiusa questioned curiously.
"My parents, King Adam, and Queen Gaia." King Endymion smiled. Chibiusa counted herself lucky she knew both sets of grandparents!
"Look!" Crystal cried, pointing towards the sky.
Alarmed, everyone looked up towards the heavens. Yet all they saw was a crescent moon in the starlit sky. For a minute, no one knew why Crystal had freaked out. Then it hit Chibiusa! "Oh no! The Moon Mystifier requires a full moon to function!"
"Daughter, don't fret. You can summon the full moon with our family birthmark. However, you have to transform into a Princess to do it." Neo-Queen Serenity reminded her.
"Right!" Chibiusa perked and took out her Pink Moon Crystal. Then, invoking the zenith power of the crystal, Chibiusa transformed into a grown woman with wavy, long, pink pigtails and a floor-length, frilly pink gown! Everyone bowed and curtsied to the future Queen.
"Princess Lady Serenity!" Emily had heard about this form, which was more than the other girls but had never seen it.
"Princess Lady? OK, I can believe in a world of talking cats with crescent-moon-shaped birthmarks which can turn into humans! I do, but my suspension of disbelief can only go so far when you give someone two titles with completely different authority." Christen did not get up. Instead, she fixed Princess Lady Serenity with a condescending glare.
"You could call me Princess Chibiusa Serenity if you desire," Princess Lady Serenity blushed as Christen did bring up a valid point. Since Princess Usagi Serenity is now Queen, there is no reason Chibiusa should not be addressed as Princess Serenity.
"...That works." Christen smiled and lowered her head back down in her curtsy.
Concentrating, golden sparkles flew from Princess Chibiusa Serenity's birthmark to the moon and rounded it out to become whole. Automatically, due to how weak this made her, Chibiusa turned back to normal and needed to be helped by the Moon Mystifier! However, there is no question the girls wanted to return home with a promise only to use the Moon Mystifier to talk to their grandparents in the future. Thus the royals, Sailor Senshi and Neo-Sailor Senshi, bid the monarchs goodbye.
Back home, Comet, Asteroid, and Diana catapulted into the Neo-Sailor Senshi, crying, overjoyed to see them again! But, unfortunately, this heartfelt reunion did not last long. Both Senshi teams had to hand their pendants/compacts over to Neo-Queen Serenity!
"I don't see why we're being punished?!" Shadow exclaimed furiously.
"You didn't stop Jewel from knocking Chibiusa into the Moon Mystifier. Moreover, it's a better lesson if all of you experience the consequence together." Neo-Queen Serenity smiled, proud of herself.
"I don't see why we're being punished for a mistake when SOMEONE ate the rest of the cake we were supposed to share." Jewel criticized the angelic woman.
"You may know I did, but you can't prove it." Neo-Queen Serenity smirked.
"I could, but that would require me cutting you open." So Beryl sat in the dark corner, entertaining Elizabeth and Selina with simple magic tricks.
Everyone gave her a piercing glare, which she, of course, paid no mind to. Regardless, the girls were penalized for a week. Beryl found it immensely amusing as she made snide comments at them whenever she could. Christen kept count of her remarks so she could exact revenge later. The other girls had no qualms about helping. However much revenge they got, the girls began to feel weird, like they enjoyed the revenge a little too much. They began to feel more like animals...
