AN: Ok, so here's a little info before the chapter starts. originally, I was going to have Yang be captured before she was thrown into the Pit, but I changed it at the last minute because I feel like that would be wasted time for this chapter.
Yang's eyes snapped open as she shot up and punched the person touching her. They hit the wall with a grunt, the sound of something cracking echoing in the jail cell that contained Yang. Yang saw that they wore some type of armor over most of their body, and a dirt bike helmet covered their face, but that didn't stop her from hurting them. A pained groan came from the figure lying on the ground, while someone's laughter could be heard off to the left of Yang. She turned her head to spot another figure in armor, but with a motorcycle helmet on, accompanied by goggles and a bandana that covered their face.
The person's laughter slowly died down, before they began speaking, the voice belonging to a man. "I told you that was a bad idea, Tip, but you didn't listen to me." "Ow..." The other man said, slowly standing up as he placed a hand on the wall to support himself as the other man turned to look at Yang. "Jeez, you pack quite the punch, i'll give you that." He said, looking back over at Tip, who was still trying to regain his balance. "Now I know why the boss wanted to have you around, you're gonna be perfect for tonight's fight."
Yang didn't say anything, all she did was glare at him, her eyes blood red as she sat there in the cell. "Not much of a talker, I see." He said, before he walked over to Tip, who had finally regained his balance and stood in the doorway. "Alright, we'll leave her be for now, the boys are gonna want her ready for tonight." He said, as he and Tip walked out of the cell and locked it behind them, disappearing from view as they walked down the hall, talking about something.
Yang looked down at her wrists, the chains shackling her to the wall clinking as she moved to lay on the bed. She knew she couldn't get out of here, there were guards all over the place, patrolling to make sure no way got in or out without the say-so. She turned and stared up at the ceiling, the old concrete devoid of any color, thinking about how she was going to get out of this place. She closed her eyes, drifting to sleep as she wondered how well her teammates were doing.
"Fuck, that hurt." Tip said as he walked down the hall, rubbing the side of his face where Yang had slugged him. "Well that's what you get for not listening to me." Evan said to him, turning to look at him as they went to report to the current leader of the Bonecrusher Pit. They walked down the hall of the compound, the fluorescent lights flickering slightly as the two continued on their mission. They eventually reached a metal door, before Evan pulled a key out of his pocket and turned it in the keyhole, the door unlocking as they walked through and up the flight of stairs.
At the top, a pair of Assaulters stood guard in front of a door, armed with AR-C's but moved aside as Tip flashed a hand sign. One guard, Robby, opened the door to let the two in, and shut it behind them. The room they entered was large, and overlooked the Pit, where currently two Brawlers were fighting a cougar, beating the large feline with spiked bats. Sitting in a chair, watching the fight, sat the leader of the Pit, and one of the highest ranking men In the Hope County Chapter. She turned her head slightly to look at the two, who were standing at attention and waiting for her to speak.
"Yes?" Her voice was sultry, but held a sharp edge to it, as the two were interrupting her show. "T-the p-prisoner is a-awake, ma'am." Evan stammered, his legs shaking slightly as he heard the calm anger in her voice. She smiled, turning back to look at the fight. The cougar had just pinned one of the Brawlers to the ground, while the other charged and smashed their bat into the cougar, sending the large feline some feet away.
"That's good to hear."
"Yea, after she punched Tip into a wall."
"Into a wall?" She said, turning he head to look back at Tip, who nodded his head. "Yea, I was just checking if she had anything on her, and then she woke up and punched me in the face. I felt it through my helmet."
"Hm, interesting. You said you felt it through your helmet?"
"Yea, and it still hurts."
"Hm, I guess our prisoner is more than she seems. Make sure she puts up a good fight tonight. I've told the men that it's a very special occasion."
"Yes, boss, you can count on us."
"Good. Now, leave me. The fight's just getting good." She said as she turned to see the cougar killed one of the Brawlers by snapping his neck in its jaws, the sound of breaking bones echoing through the arena. The crowd of Highwaymen cheered at the carnage, the cougar roaring as it jumped on the other Brawler, tearing through his armor and crushing the bones in his arm. They both nodded and walked back to the door, Robby waiting with the door opened. They walked past him as he closed the door and locked it, the loud "CLANG" echoing down the corridor.
Yang panted as she came to a stop, her aura depleted and her sides aching. She jumped into a fighting pose as she heard footsteps approaching her, fast. She dodged at the last minute, the red katana slashing across the ground, leaving a deep cut. Yang turned to see her attacker, and the second she did, her pupils dilated and her breath hitched. Standing before her was Adam Taurus, the one responsible for the Fall of Beacon, and the same Faunus who took a piece of her.
He chuckled darkly as he prepared his attack, his sword and body glowing a crimson red as Yang was frozen in fear. He charged and Yang screamed, unable to move her body.
Yang shot up, breathing heavily as she looked around her cell, scared at the nightmare. She calmed her breathing, slowly inhaling and exhaling as sweat dripped off of her. She looked at her cybernetic arm, the servos within humming slightly as she clenched her fist and closed her eyes, flashes of the memory going through her head. She opened her eyes when she heard footsteps, looking up to see a Highwaymen Berserker, her shotgun slung over her back as she held a plate of food in her hand.
She unlocked the cell door and pulled it open, stepping in and walking up to Yang, sticking the plate of food out for her. Sitting on the plate was a piece of meat, a small pile of corn, and 2 carrots. Yang reached out and took the plate, the Berserker nodding her head before she turned and walked back out of the cell, locking it behind her and disappearing down the hall. Yang looked down at the food, staring at it before she picked up the fork and took a bite from the meat.
And that's a wrap. I'm sorry it took me so long to finish, i've been busy with school and other things.
