"Stay quiet, alright."

"I know Freddy."

It was a week after their first day of school and they were finally doing what they've been meaning to do for the past few days. They got so busy with their third year and the new classes that this was the first opportunity they'd had to sneak out ever since the start of school. After finishing their classes, eating dinner and waiting for their mates to sleep, they silently snuck out of the door and were making their way towards the basement? Dungeon? They really didn't know what to call it, but it was below even the Slytherin common room in the dungeons. The map had led them to a spiral staircase near the Headmaster's office that they were scaling to get to who they hoped were there. They'd used the disillusionment charm their mother had taught them in the summer (and Merlin did they have an amazing mother), so no one could see where them.

"Do you think they're actually here Freddy?" George whispered as they made their way down.

"Who knows? But mum said the map is pretty accurate so I hope so." George hummed in reply to his twin's words.

A few minutes later they found themselves in a dark medieval dungeon, unlike the Slytherins' dungeon this one had rows of prison cells lining it. They guessed it might've been for prisoners held by the founders long ago but weren't sure. As soon as they'd stepped inside the lanterns lit up and they found four people, three men and a woman, hunched over in two cells. As soon as the lanterns were on the four turned their heads towards them in expectation that quickly turned to shock.

"Freddy? Georgie?"

"Dad?!" The twins shouted at the same time, staring at the red head that they knew to be their father, except he looked much thinner and sadder than in the photos they had at home.

"Oh boys." The man sobbed out, reaching for the two but unable to touch them with the door that separated them. The man next to him laughed brightly at them, even if it looked like he hadn't done so in a while, and they immediately recognised him as their father's twin. Fabian and Gideon Prewett really did look like them, except for the eyes. Fred and George had their mother's eyes, who's mirror was staring at them.

"Uncle James?"

"Oh boys…" The man sighed in relief, sagging against the woman, his wife Aurelia Malfoy-Potter.

"Seems I was right." Gideon said quietly, feeling like he was in a dream. "Someone did come to help."

"How did you find us?" The only woman there, their aunt Aurelia, asked quietly smiling at the two. They silently held up the map in answer and James barked out a surprised laugh.

"I knew it'd come in handy."

The twins went towards the two doors, and they pulled out their wands and tried to unlock them to no avail.

"What do we do?" They asked at the same time, looking to their dad for answers.

"Give me a wand." Fabian said, taking on of his sons' wands and casting a complicated spell and a second later the doors opened wide and he found his arms full of two redheads as soon as he was out of the cell.

"Oh boys…" Fabian sighed as he hugged them tightly, happy to finally see his twins after years of being apart.

While they were reuniting, Gideon took the wand from his brother and got the Potters out.

"How are we getting out of the school, though?" Aurelia asked, looking at the twins who had pulled away from their father and were standing on either side of the man. Who leaned against Fred while Gideon stood beside George with an arm around his shoulder, trying and failing to hide how he was using his nephew as a crutch.

"Mum gave us a Portkey to use in case of emergency. It'll take us straight to Prewett Manor and it goes through the Hogwarts wards.

"That's my sister." James said with a proud smirk.

"That's my wife." Fabian said with a raised brow, eyes gleaming in mischief at the defying tone he'd used.

"Yes yes, we're all very proud of Vickie. Can we go now?" Gideon said impatiently, glaring at the two to stop the argument he knew was going to start.

"Great idea Gideon." Aurelia said with a relieved smile directed at the man. She pulled her husband towards the Prewetts and held on to one twin. The two youngest Prewetts put an arm on their father each and George gestured to Fred.

"Alright everyone. Hold on tight." They nodded at him and he took a deep breath before whispering "Safety."

"I'm just saying Siri, don't you think you're moving too fast?"

"I don't know. I'm sure she's the one, but maybe you're right. I should probably slow down."

Victoria and Sirius were sitting in Prewett Manor's living room, enjoying a cup of tea together in the first slow day they'd had in a while. They'd been so busy lately -what with dealing with the Wizengamot, their constant planning and getting everyone together to counter Dumbledore- that they haven't had any time to just sit and hang out in a while.

"I think that's the best course of action. Take her out on a date, see where…" Victoria stopped in the middle of her sentence, her eyes glassing over as if she was somewhere else.

"Vickie? You alright?" Sirius asked, concerned for his older sister.

"Someone just entered the wards." She said in lieu of an answer, standing up and moving towards the entrance hall.

"Who?"

"I'm not sure but I can guess."

"The twins?" Sirius asked as he ran after her, getting a nod in return before the two focused on their destination.

They entered the hall with Victoria shouting "Freddy! Georgie!" as she barrelled towards her sons, not noticing her brother stopping dead in his tracks and staring at who had come with the two.

"Are you alright? What happened?" She asked frantically, looking them up and down for injuries. As soon as she was sure they were okay, she pulled them into a tight hug.

"We're alright Mum." The two said at the same time, hugging their mother just as tightly and looking up to see their Dad looking at them with a look of love in his eyes and a soft smile that they could vaguely remember from their childhood.

"Jamie?" Sirius whispered quietly, staring at his brother in all but blood. He had started to give up on ever finding them but here he was, smiling brightly at Sirius.

"Siri!" James said excitedly as he ran over and pulled his brother into a tight hug and tears streaming down both their faces. Aurelia looked on with a small smile on her face, her eyes bright.

The commotion drew Victoria's attention from her sons and as she looked up, her eyes widening at who exactly was standing behind her.

"Fab?" Her husband, her husband, smiled at her with shining eyes and Victoria threw herself at him with a loud sob, wrapping her arms and legs around him in a desperate need to be close to him. Fabian, who was still weak from lack of food and exercise, fell at the impact but didn't care as he tightened his arms around his wife and cried into her shoulder. The two whispered comforting words to each other, forgetting that there was anyone else in the room until James Potter in all his dramatic glory decided to interrupt the sweet moment.

"Oi, Prewett, quit hogging my sister."

"James!" His wife exclaimed, hitting him lightly on the shoulder.

Victoria looked up at that and finally noticed her baby brother standing above her with a smirk on his face. Still sitting on her husband's lap on the floor, she pulled him down and hugged him tightly. The man sighed in relief as he burrowed his face in her shoulder, whispering words of thanks that she'd alright.

"Well now I feel left out." Gideon said, and his brother and sister-in-law pulled him down to join the floor hug while James pulled Aurelia and Sirius in as well. Fred and George laughed silently at the sight before they fell on top of their uncles.

The family hugged tightly and for a moment, they forgot all their problems and everything they had to do. They were just together again, and they were very happy about that.
