The next morning, Olivia got up and got into the shower. Once she was out of the shower, Hank was awake. Erin and Jay were up as well. Hank went downstairs to let the dogs out and make breakfast, while Olivia finished getting dressed. Erin was dressed, so she went downstairs.

"Hey."

"Hey. You ok after last night?"

"Yeah. My face hurts a little bit and Jay's is pretty bruised but we're fine."

"Good."

"I'm the one that volunteered to go undercover but at least we got the guy."

"Hopefully. There were no more calls about it last night, so let's hope you got your guy."

"Hopefully Intelligence gets their guy too."

"I'm sure they will."

Both Olivia and Jay came down at the same time and Olivia was on the phone.

"That's not good."

Hank put Olivia's coffee in front of her and after she was done talking, she hung up.

"That was Antonio."

"It's early."

"He said they've been working on that case all night. They went home and slept in shifts. They have had no luck trying to find anyone."

"Does someone need to go?"

"I said I would send help. You and probably Fin. If you don't have a problem with it."

"I'm fine with it as long as I don't have to go undercover again."

"You shouldn't have to. I told him we seem to have caught our guy and how we went about doing it. I need to call Fin."

Erin went upstairs to pack, while Olivia called Fin. She then made the reservations for them, including a rental and accommodations. Olivia texted Fin his confirmation and did the same to Erin before going upstairs.

"I just sent you your confirmation."

Olivia got a text back from Fin saying he'd meet Erin at the airport.

"Fin said he'd meet you at the airport."

"Ok."

"I really appreciate this."

"I'm fine with it."

Then Jay came in, so Olivia left and went back downstairs.

"You sure you're ok doing this?"

"It's part of my job, so yes. It's not like these people are complete strangers. They're family. You'd do the same thing if you were me."

"You're right. I would."

"Hopefully I won't be there long."

"Let's hope so."

"I'll call you tonight and check in on my girl."

"Ok. I'll be waiting for that call."

"I'm sure you will be."

Erin went into Camille's room and kissed her daughter before she and Jay went back downstairs.

"Do you want a ride to the airport?"

"Sure."

"Eat first."

"Yes, Dad."

Erin and Jay ate breakfast and then she hugged Hank and Olivia. Jay grabbed her bag and then they headed to the airport.

"I don't wanna go in today."

"So, don't. Leave Shauna in charge and spend the day with us."

"I wish I could."

While Olivia was finishing breakfast, Hank went to take a shower. Once he was done and was getting dressed, Olivia finished getting ready. She kissed Hank and then went downstairs to get her second cup of coffee before heading out the door. Hank then got Noah and Rachel up. They had breakfast and then the kids got dressed as Lucy was arriving.

"Morning, Hank."

"Morning."

"Did everyone leave already?"

"Yeah. Olivia is sendin' Erin and Fin to Chicago to help out with their case, so Jay took her to the airport and Olivia headed in already. The baby is still asleep and the other two are gettin' dressed."

"Ok."

Rachel came downstairs and had the stuff for her hair.

"Lucy, can you please help me?"

"Of course. Let me take my jacket off first, ok?"

"Ok."

Lucy took her jacket off and then she did Rachel's hair.

"There you go."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

"Daddy."

"What?"

"Can we have lunch with Mommy?

"I'll see if she's available."

"Ok."

Hank texted Olivia and told her that Rachel wanted to have lunch with her. She replied back and said so far, that was fine but it could change at any time. Then Noah came downstairs.

"Your sister wants to have lunch with your mom. If you want to come, that's fine. If not, that's fine too."

"I want to."

"Ok."

"Morning, Lucy."

"Morning, Noah."

The kids went to watch TV until it was time for Hank to take Rachel to Preschool. By the time he came back, Al and Meredith were there. Camille was awake.

"Hey, Hank."

"Hey."

"Papa!"

"Hey, little girl."

"How's Brandon?"

"They're takin' him to the orthopedic specialist at 10 today for his cast."

"That's good, right?"

"Yep."

"What's goin' on with that case?"

"Erin went undercover and they arrested the bartender last night. I don't know if he was the guy they were lookin' for but Olivia didn't get any more calls about it after he was arrested as far as I know. Erin and Fin are on their way to Chicago to help Dawson out because they're still at a dead end with their case. From what Dawson told Olivia, they went home and slept in shifts."

"I always hated cases like that."

"Me too."

Olivia called Hank and said they also needed her help on the case. She needed him to pack some stuff for her and take her to the airport. She also needed to get her SUV home.

"Now she's goin' to Chicago. I need to pack her stuff and take it to her. She also wants me to take her to the airport. She needs to get her SUV home as well."

"I'll go with you."

"Thanks."

Hank went upstairs to pack some stuff for Olivia. Once he was done, he came back downstairs.

"Noah, Mom has to go to Chicago. Do you want to come say goodbye?"

"Yeah."

"Ok. Rachel is probably gonna have a fit. She wanted to have lunch with Olivia."

Hank got Noah's jacket and then he put it on. Al kissed Meredith and then the 3 of them left in Al's car after he moved Noah's seat. They arrived at the Precinct and then they went in.

"I am so sorry."

"You do know your daughter is gonna be mad at you."

"I know. I want to stop to see her before I go."

"Have a good trip, Mommy."

"Thank you, baby."

Noah gave Olivia a hug.

"You only have two people who can be out in the field."

"Yeah, I know but Shauna and Amanda can still go to the hospital and do interrogations."

"We'll be fine."

Once Olivia said goodbye to everyone, they went out to the SUV. She hugged and kissed Noah and then Al left with him, while Hank drove their SUV to the Preschool. Olivia went in and went to tell Rachel that she was going out of town but she still had Daddy, Jay and everyone else except her big sister. Rachel wrapped her arms around her and then they left. Hank then drove her to the airport. When they arrived, they both got out and Hank got her bag.

"Have a safe trip."

"I really don't want to do this."

Olivia wrapped her arms around Hank and he wrapped his arms around her.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too."

"Hopefully I'll be able to call you tonight."

"Let me know when you get there."

"I will."

Olivia kissed Hank and then she took her bag. She headed inside to get checked in, while Hank headed home. Hank arrived at the house at the same time Ed, Diana and Brandon did.

"Did you drive Olivia today?"

"No. She sent Erin and Fin to Chicago to help out and then she ended up havin' to go too."

"Oh, good grief!"

"Al drove and then I took her SUV home after I dropped her off. That way we got to spend some time together before she left."

"That makes sense."

"I just have a bad feeling about this. I don't want somethin' to happen to her or Erin and have Jay and me here. It'll take us a several hours to get to them."

"They've got Will and Natalie and the rest of your former squad."

"Yeah, I guess."

"I need to take my daughter out for lunch once I pick her up from Preschool, since we were supposed to go with Olivia."

"Does she know?"

"We stopped, so Olivia could say goodbye to her before we headed to the airport. I took Noah with me and then Al brought him home."

Jay texted Hank to see if he wanted to meet for lunch. Hank replied that he would at least have Rachel. He said that was fine and Hank suggested McDonald's, told him which one and when. Jay said he would see him there. Hank went in with Ed, Diana and Brandon.

"Daddy, are you still taking Rachel out to lunch?"

"Yeah. I'm meetin' Jay. We're goin' to McDonald's."

"Can I come?"

"Sure. I might as well take Camille too."

"If all of you want to stay, fine. If you wanna come too, that's fine too."

"We'll meet you there."

"I'll come too."

"Ok."

Hank went to change Camille's diaper and then he got everyone's jackets. Hank left with Lucy, Noah and Camille, while, Ed, Diana, Brandon, Al and Meredith left as well. Hank went to get Rachel from Preschool and then they met everyone at McDonald's. Hank got everyone out of their seats. Camille got excited when she saw Jay.

"Dada!"

"Look, who's here! No Olivia?"

"She also went to Chicago."

"So, we're on our own with the kids, huh?"

"Yep."

Jay took Camille from Hank and then they went inside. Hank found out what everyone wanted, while everyone else went to find a table. Once Hank got the food and the drinks, took everything to the table.

"A part of me has a bad feeling about this trip."

"I do too. Like Diana pointed out though, they have Will and Nat and the rest of the squad. I just don't like the fact that it's gonna take us several hours before we can get to them."

"That's what bothers me. Does Olivia even know how long this trip is gonna be?"

"She did not. Maybe the less we worry about them the quicker they'll be home."

"Maybe you're right. It's awesome for Shauna that she's in charge until Olivia gets back."

"She can handle it."

"If they needed a third person, wouldn't it have made more sense to send Jeff or Carisi?"

"Maybe Dawson requested her. I don't know what the deal is. She talked to Dawson this morning and he said they were workin' all night. They went home to sleep in shifts. She sent Erin and Fin and then she later called and said she was goin'."

"I remember we would occasionally pull all-nighters."

"Some of you more than others. You and Erin did Patrol a lot too, which usually resulted in us gettin' a case. Sometimes gettin' a good night's sleep is better to have a clear head when workin' on some of these cases."

"I agree. The more tired you are, the more likely you are to make a mistake. I'm glad we seem to have gotten our guy here. If anything had gone south on that, I would have taken full blame for it. I would never intentionally put Erin or anyone in danger."

"I know that. Erin knows how to handle herself. I kind of miss the undercover stuff sometimes. I think I worry about Erin more now than I ever have because of our daughter. The thought of having to raise Camille on my own scares me."

"I constantly worry about somethin' happenin' to Olivia too. I worry about Erin too but I pretty much always have even before I knew she was my kid. If somethin' ever happens to Erin though, you wouldn't be on your own. You got me. I know we never saw eye to eye but you have proven yourself."

"The scary thing is, I seem to have a better relationship with you than I do my own dad. I was surprised he sent the present for Camille for her birthday."

"Obviously he's tryin' to make an effort."

"Yeah, true."

"Ed, how's your dad?"

"We're headin' there after lunch."

"Give him our best."

"I will. Thanks."

"How's the wrist, Brandon?"

"It's ok, I guess."

"I guess we need to stop and pick up a cast cover, so you can take your bath."

"Ok."

"You don't know how much I want to go to Chicago right now."

"Me too."

"You two really need to stop it. They have each other and they have Sergeant Tutuola."

"I've known Liv a long time. I know what hell she went through with William Lewis. She can get through anything."

Jay got a call, so he finished eating and left after he kissed Camille on the head. Everyone then went back to Hank and Olivia's. The kids went down for their naps and even Brandon took one.

Several hours had past and everyone in Chicago was working on the case. They had finally found a person of interest and were going into an abandoned warehouse to try to get him. Erin and Olivia had gone in together and they announced themselves as the Police. The guy started shooting several rounds at them and reloaded.

"Shots fired at the Police!"

They got closer and fired back. The guy fired at them and then Olivia got hit in the foot.

"Damn it!"

Then Erin got hit in the leg but at the same time she shot and killed the guy. Everyone else had found where they were.

"Oh, shit!"

"50-21 Eddie. We have two officers down at my location. We need two ambos. Roll the crime lab."

"Liv, Erin, you ok?"

"I think so."

"My knee is killin' me."

Gabby and Sylvie arrived and then they tended to Erin, while the other paramedics bandaged Olivia's foot. Kim rode with Erin, while Fin rode with Olivia.

"You want me to call Voight?"

"I'll call him."

They arrived at the hospital and Will was surprised to see his sister-in-law. He went with Olivia, while Ethan dealt with Erin.

"Olivia, are you gonna call Jay?"

"Yeah. I need to call Hank anyway, so I'll let him deal with Jay."

"If she needs to, she can stay with us."

"I'm sure your brother will appreciate that."

"It doesn't look like there is any significant damage to your foot. I just wanna get a few xrays and the nurse will give you an antibiotic. Any allergies?"

"No allergies."

Will went to get the xray technician but they were already in with Erin. Once they were done with Erin, they came in to do Olivia's xrays and then Doris started her IV. Then Ethan came in.

"Erin needs to go into surgery. Olivia, are you able to ok it or do I need to call Jay?"

"I can do it. Is she ok otherwise? I need to call Hank."

"It didn't hit anything major but there is some minor damage in her knee."

"If you want, I can deal with my brother."

"It's my fault she's even here in the first place."

"She wants to see you."

Will went to get a wheelchair and then he took her into see Erin. Erin reached for Olivia's hand.

"Sweetie, I am so sorry."

"Mom, don't blame yourself."

"You may not blame me but I haven't talked to your dad or Jay yet. I'm the one that sent you out here in the first place."

"Both Dad and Jay know this is part of the job."

"If I could change places with you, I would. I love you, Sweetie."

"I love you too, Mom."

Olivia hugged Erin and then Will took her back to her room after Erin made sure she gave Olivia her jewelry. Erin was then taken to surgery and then Fin and Trudy came in to see Olivia.

"You ok?"

"I feel like this is my fault. Erin is in surgery because I sent her here.

"Liv, you always blame yourself when somethin' happens to someone else. This wasn't your fault. Hopefully that son of a bitch was the guy we were lookin' for and like the guy we arrested last night, he won't be hurtin' anyone again."

Then Antonio came in.

"I called Voight."

"I was going to do that but thank you."

"No problem. He had a few choice words for me. I wish I hadn't gotten you, Erin and Fin into this."

"Except it was related to the case we had. What else were we supposed to do? Let you handle things yourself?"

Olivia's phone rang and she saw it was Hank.

"Hey."

"Are you two ok?"

"Yeah. I got hit in the foot, so it's not too serious. They're giving me an IV of antibiotics right now. Erin just went into surgery. She has some minor damage to her knee. I am so sorry."

"Don't blame yourself. I don't blame Antonio either. It could have happened to anyone. I just got Jay and the 3 of us are on our way to the airport."

"Who's the 3rd person?"

"Diana. Meredith is gonna stay with the kids. I also called and let Olive and Trevor know."

"Ok. Are you in the car?"

"Yeah. On the Bluetooth."

"Jay, your brother said Erin can stay with them if she has to."

"Ok, thanks."

"Olivia, tell them I'll meet them at the airport."

"Ok."

"Trudy said she'll meet you at the airport."

"I did not get a car."

"I've got one but it's at the District."

"Then I'll get that then."

"I'll give the key to Trudy and then you can get it that way. I haven't even checked into the hotel yet."

"Are they keepin' you?"

"I don't think so because it was nothing too major. I'm not even sure I'll be here when you get here."

"Trudy can let us know when she picks us up."

"Ok."

"We're at the airport, so we'll see you in a few hours."

"Ok. I love you."

"I love you too."

Hank told her when the flight was arriving and then Olivia hung up. She told Trudy the flight information.

"Antonio, he said he doesn't blame you. He knows it could have happened to anyone."

"I know he doesn't mean it but I knew he'd be pissed."

"Neither of them were too happy about us being here in the first place. They're bringing my sister, which means Edward has the two kids by himself and Meredith is staying with Noah, Rachel and Camille."

"How's Ed's dad?"

"I guess he's doing ok. He was still pretty groggy for the most part when he went to see him yesterday. Brandon broke his wrist at school yesterday, so they were taking him to the orthopedic specialist this morning."

"Poor kid."

"The kid that knocked into him was one of his foster brothers from the home he was in before Ed and Diana took him in."

"Did they not get along?"

"They did. Mikey, the kid that knocked him over, said it if wasn't for Brandon and for me, he'd probably be dead right now. The family that took him is absolutely amazing."

Olivia's phone rang, so she answered it. It was Meredith calling, so the kids could talk to her. Fin's phone also rang. It was Amanda, so he talked to her. Once Olivia hung up after talking to the kids, Fin handed her his phone, so she could talk to Amanda and Shauna. Just as she ended the call with Amanda, Olive called. She talked to all of them, since Olive had her on speaker phone. Almost as soon as she hung up with the Langans, Ed called. After she was done talking to Ed, she hung up.

"That should be everyone. I talked to the kids, the grandkids, my brother-in-law and Amanda and Shauna."

"You didn't talk to Carisi and Jeff?"

"They were at a scene."

"That'll do it."

Then Will came back in.

"How's it going?"

"I feel ok. How long are you keeping me?"

"It could still be a while. We want to make sure you don't have any reaction to the antibiotic."

"Ok. How long will I have to stay in Chicago?"

"I'd give it a few days. My sister-in-law on the other hand will probably have to stay a little longer."

"Will Camille be ok without her parents?"

"She's usually pretty good for Hank. We'll see how she is for Meredith. As much as I love the grandkids, the twins are little troublemakers."

Gabby and Sylvie came in and Trevor's stepbrother was with them. The rest of Intelligence was out in the hall. Gabby gave Antonio a hug.

"How's it goin'?"

"I'm doing ok. My foot hurts like hell."

"I bet it does. How's Erin?"

"She's in surgery right now. She has some minor damage to her knee. Hank, Jay and Diana are on their way."

"Who's with the kids?"

"Meredith."

"Everyone at 51 sends their love."

"Thanks."

"Does Trevor know?"

"Yeah. Besides my husband, I've talked to them, my kids, my brother-in-law and part of my squad."

"Jess and I are planning to head to New York this weekend to see them, so if you need anything, let us know."

"I will. Thanks."

"No problem."

A call had gone out to multiple firehouses, including 51 and where Rick was.

"This sounds like it's pretty big."

"I guess we're about to get busy in here too. I'll check in with you later."

Everyone left and headed either to the scene or to wait for victims to come in.

"That sounds like the lab where the drug was manufactured."

"I wouldn't be surprised."

"When's Voight gettin' here?"

"In a few hours."

"Liv, do you want me to go back to New York to help out or do you want me to stick around?"

"I don't know. Shauna sounded like everything was under control when I talked to her. You, Carisi and Jeff will be at the scenes, while the rest of us will be doing mostly hospital visits and interrogations. Erin will be off for a while I'm sure and she won't be driving again, since it's the same side she had surgery on just before Christmas. If I'm off the rest of this week, I would think that would be enough. I'm not going to be able to drive, since it's my right foot. I do know that Erin is going to have to talk to Internal Affairs, since she's the one that shot the guy. I will too, since I was shot."

"Lieutenant Johnson is pretty nice compared to who we've had to deal with before."

Everyone talked for a while and then Intelligence got called to where the fire was. A little while later, Trudy left after she took the keys for Olivia's rental, so then it was just Olivia and Fin. When it was closer to the time for Hank, Jay and Diana's flight to get in, Trudy checked the status of it and it was on time, so she headed to the airport. By the time she arrived, the flight had landed. They had just gotten their bags and were walking outside when she pulled up. She got out of the squad and opened the trunk.

"Thanks for pickin' us up."

"Sure."

"Did Olivia get released?"

"I forgot to check. Sorry."

"That's ok."

They all got into the squad and Trudy drove to the District. Hank called Olivia on the way.

"Hey."

"Hey. You still at the hospital?"

"Yeah but I'm in with Erin. She got out of surgery an hour ago. I can go back to the hotel but not until I talk to Internal Affairs. I probably have to stay in Chicago at least until the end of the week. Will wants to make sure I'm ok to travel before I leave."

"Ok. We're just leavin' the airport, so we'll see you soon."

"Ok. Love you."

"Love you too."

Hank hung up.

"She was released but she's in with Erin, who got out of surgery an hour ago. She has to stay at the hospital until she talks to IA. Will wants her to stay in Chicago at least until the end of the week. He wants to make sure she's ok to travel."

"That makes sense."

"What's weird is Erin broke her ankle while we were in New York and had to have surgery and now she's here and gets shot."

"At least both times she was with family."

"I'm grateful for that. Will you and Olivia be ok with Camille?"

"Yeah, we'll be fine.

"Hopefully we'll be back by the time we close on the house."

"We'll figure it out."

"Ed and I will do what we can to help out."

"We appreciate that. Thanks."

"No problem."

Trudy arrived at the District and then she gave Hank the key for Olivia's rental. They thanked Trudy, got their stuff and then Hank drove to the hospital. When they arrived, they got out of the rental and went to find out where Erin was. They got their visitors' badges and went to Erin's room. Erin was still asleep and Olivia was asleep in her wheelchair with her foot up. Jay kissed Erin's head, while Hank kissed Olivia's cheek and then she woke up.

"Hey."

"Hey. How's your foot?"

"It hurts."

"I see Erin got hit in her right leg."

"Yep. She could have to stay in Chicago for a week to 10 days."

"Ok. We'll figure something out."

"Did you talk to Internal Affairs yet?"

"Nope."

Olivia told them what had happen and then the Internal Affairs person came in.

"Hey, Diana."

"Rob."

"Hank. Jay"

"Rob."

"Lieutenant Johnson."

"You must be Lieutenant Voight."

"I am but you can call me Olivia."

"And you can call me Rob. I hate this formality stuff anyway."

"Ok.

"So, Olivia, you're married to Hank?"

"Yep."

"No kidding. When did you get married again?"

"Just before I retired."

"Oh, wow! What's Al up to since he retired?"

"They moved to New York."

"Good. Diana, how are you liking Internal Affairs?"

"It's not bad. I'm getting along pretty well with everyone, since I'm trying to not be the bad guy unless I absolutely have to."

"I'm trying to do that myself. How's Kara?"

"She's great. She's in middle school."

"Wow! Where does the time go?"

"Yeah, really. This past school year she really made me proud. There was an incident at her school where her teacher was raped by her ex and he had threatened to blow up the building. She was the one that contacted 9-1-1 and she contacted both me and Olivia personally. She didn't panic. She got an award for that. Olivia is my half-sister, so she and Kara are pretty close and she has always been close to Hank. I got married a little over a year ago and my husband retired from the NYPD not too long after that. He actually did what I'm doing before I did. They just never had anyone that took over between the time he left and I came in. We adopted a little boy, who's about 7 and in first grade."

"Oh, wow! Good for Kara! This change was good for you then."

"Oh, yeah. It definitely was."

"You're basically here as a sister and not Internal Affairs."

"Basically, yes. I don't treat Olivia any differently than I do everyone else while we're at work. I had surgery several weeks ago, so I'm actually off for a few more weeks. How's your family?"

"They're doing great. The oldest one started college."

"Wow! That does not seem possible."

"I know."

"Where's she going?"

"Northwestern and she's majoring in Criminal Justice. We'll see how long that lasts but she's at home for right now. Robbie is a junior, Stacy is a freshman and Derek is in 7th."

"Tell everyone I said hello."

"I will do that. Shauna Walsh is with the NYPD now."

"Yeah, I knew that. She's in Olivia's unit and she's my husband's niece."

"You're kidding me."

"I'm not."

"Jackie and the kids miss Eddie."

"He loves living in New York and getting to know her big family. He was a little overwhelmed at first but then again, so were Kara and I. Ed's the oldest of 6 kids. Shauna is married now too. Her husband is a Detective and a widowed father of 3 girls and he's also in Olivia's unit. They're expecting a son around Thanksgiving."

"How do you feel about having a couple in your unit?"

"I'm fine with it. They're not the only couple. Neither couple is allowed to work together. Diana said she doesn't have a problem with it but it was ultimately up to me."

"I feel the same way. I know about Burgess and Ruzek but I let Dawson make the decision."

"I didn't necessarily approve of in house relationships, especially where Erin was concerned. I did allow Burgess and Ruzek the first time they were together, so I couldn't really say much about Erin and Jay after that."

"Sometimes it was hard for us to work together and be a couple at the same time. We're glad we don't work together now."

"I can see Hank's side of it too."

"Me too."

"Does Eddie like being a big brother?"

"He does. He just started Kindergarten and so did Jeff's middle daughter. Jeff and Shauna live next door to Hank and Olivia and we're not too far away. Ed's youngest sister and her family are in the same neighborhood and Jay and Erin are in the process of buying a house on the other side of Hank and Olivia."

"That's great. How's your daughter-in-law, Hank?"

"She's good. She got married again and they have a baby now. This is the happiest she's been in a long time and that's good to see."

"This is 4 for her?"

"Yep. Daniel is 3, Justin and Nicole will be 2 just before Christmas and then Maggie. Olive gave birth the same day Diana had her surgery."

"How old is your daughter now, Jay?"

"She'll be a year soon. We had her party this past weekend. My brother, sister-in-law, nephew and niece were there, along with everyone from Intelligence, Platt and her husband came out to celebrate with us.

"Time flies, doesn't it?"

"It does."

"I will probably come back tomorrow to speak with Erin. I already spoke with Sergeant Dawson and everyone else from Intelligence. Do you have a few minutes, Olivia?"

"Sure."

"Ok. Diana, you can come too if you'd like."

"That's up to her. I already know what went on."

Rob took Olivia to the waiting room, so they could talk.

"I don't think I knew Rob was in Internal Affairs."

"He was promoted to Lieutenant when I was promoted to Captain and he had taken over for me when I left Vice. Shauna never said anything unless he transferred to Internal Affairs after she left."

"No one in Intelligence or Platt said anything either."

Then Antonio came in with Fin.

"When did Rob go to IA?"

"A couple months ago maybe. He decided he didn't want to be in the field anymore."

"That'll do it. He took over for me when I left."

"He's a lot easier to deal with than some of the others we've had."

"I don't doubt that."

"I always hated dealin' with Internal Affairs because Tucker was such an ass but I don't mind dealin' with you though. Tucker isn't so bad anymore either."

"Thank you, Sergeant. I appreciate that. I laugh when I hear these stories about Ed and he doesn't deny any of them though."

Rob brought Olivia back.

"I didn't know you had gone to Internal Affairs."

"That came up a few months ago basically after Shauna left. I decided I didn't want to be out in the field anymore and after you left and then after Shauna left, the family vibe unit had was gone. This was a pay increase and they brought in someone new to take over Vice because there wasn't really anyone who I felt could handle taking over. The only one I would have trusted would have been Shauna."

"I know some stuff about Shauna now that I didn't know when we worked together."

Diana told Rob what she was talking about.

"I remember when that happened. She seemed pretty upset by it and I do remember a lot of the others being critical about it. Now I understand her situation."

"She told me she didn't want to say anything to anyone because she didn't want people to give her a hard time about it."

"That's understandable. Jackie's sister and brother-in-law actually just moved to New York City to be closer to their daughter and grandkids. She wants to go see them."

"If you do, give me a call and maybe we can get together."

Diana pulled her card out.

"My cell is still the same but this is my office number and email."

"That sounds like a plan. I should get back. It was good seeing all of you and Olivia, it was nice meeting you."

"You too."

"You too, Sergeant."

"You too."

"Say hi to Al and Meredith."

"We will."

Rob left and went back to his office.

"He handles things a lot like you do. I'm just so used to the guilty until proven innocent thing that we had with Ed for all those years."

"I've known him not quite as long as I've known Hank, Trudy and Al. Have you heard from anyone in New York?"

"Amanda called Fin's phone and I talked to her and Shauna and Meredith also called, so I go to talk to the kids. Olive and Trevor called, so I talked to them and the kids and then Ed called too. I'm starting to get hungry."

"Why don't we just order a pizza and eat at the hotel?"

"That works for me."

"Me too."

"I think for now, I'm going to stay at the hotel."

"That works."

"Fin, can you stay with her until I get checked in?"

"Yeah, sure."

Jay kissed Erin's cheek and then everyone but Fin left. They ran into Natalie and Hank went to get the rental. Natalie wheeled Olivia out.

"Jay, you can stay with us."

"That's what Will told Olivia. I don't want to impose."

"You're not imposing. Trust me. Your family. We have the guest room."

"Ok, that's fine. Olivia, do you know where Erin's stuff is?"

"Fin might know."

Jay called Fin to find out where Erin's bag was. He said it was in his rental. He'd be right down. Jay hung up.

"He'll be right down."

"I forgot to give you this."

Olivia handed Jay Erin's jewelry.

"Oh, thanks."

Hank pulled up just as Fin came out. He went to get Erin's bag and brought it back.

"Thanks."

"No problem."

"Fin when you leave the hospital, come to our room for pizza."

"Sounds like a plan."

Fin went in and Will came outside.

"Here are my keys for my car and the house."

"Thanks. If you need your car, I'll call Dad and see if I can drive his while I'm here."

"Nat and I are on the same schedule, so we're good."

"We'll see you sometime tomorrow but we will probably be here until Saturday or Sunday. We'll video chat, so you two can talk to Camille."

"Ok. Good."

Hank helped Olivia and Diana into the rental, while Jay headed to the staff lot to Will's car. Hank called to order the pizzas and then they went to the hotel, while Jay called to cancel Erin's hotel reservation and headed to Will and Nat's. Once he got their stuff in, he stopped to get something to eat. Hank, Olivia and Diana had gotten checked in and then Hank went to get Olivia's prescriptions before going to get the pizzas. By the time he was arriving back at the hotel, Fin had arrived back.

"Need help?"

"Yeah, sure. I take it Jay got back to the hospital?"

"He wasn't there when I left. Platt and Burgess were there. She was startin' to wake up more."

"Good."

They went to Hank and Olivia's room and went in. Olivia had her feet up and was already ready for bed. Both Olivia and Diana were laying side by side and were both on the phone. Diana was talking to Ed and the kids, while Olivia was talking to the kids again. They both hung up and then Hank kissed Olivia.

"Comfy?"

"Yes, I am. Thanks."

"Yep. Are the kids behavin' themselves?"

"Yeah. They wanted to talk to me again before bath time. They're having a good time with Uncle Al and Auntie Meredith."

"Guess where Edward and the kids went for dinner?"

"Must be the Pub."

"Yep. He said his family sends their love to you and Erin."

"Ok. Honey, I'm going to need you to change my bandage again before I go to bed."

"Ok. I will do that."

Hank got Olivia some pizza and something to drink. He took it over to her, along with her medications.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

He then went to get pizza and something to drink for Diana.

"Thank you."

"Sure."

Fin got some and sat down, while Hank got something for himself.

"So, Liv, you want me to go back tomorrow?

"If you want to. I would feel better if there was someone else there, who could go to crime scenes."

"No big deal. It's hard havin' most of the unit on desk duty."

"It is and I've been off quite a bit myself."

"Walsh seems like she knows what she's doin' though."

"I'm actually glad that she is also a Sergeant, so in a case like this when we're both gone, there is someone else who can take over. Instead of me coming here, I could have sent Jeff or Carisi."

"You could have but then again, you would have ended up comin' anyway because of what happened to Erin. It's better that you were here."

"I have to agree with Fin. I'm glad you were here with her."

"I'm just waiting for Jay to somehow blame me for what happened though."

"I don't think he does."

"I just have a bad feeling."

There was a knock on the door, so Hank went to answer it. It was Jay.

"What's goin' on?"

"I wanted to talk to Olivia for a minute."

"Come on in."

"Thanks."

Jay walked in and Hank shut the door.

"Hey, Jay."

"Hey. I just wanted to say that I'm glad you were here with Erin when this happened and I'm glad you're ok."

"I was starting to get the feeling you blamed me for what happened."

"The only person I blame is the guy that did this to her. I would have been just as upset if you were the one that had been shot in the leg and Erin in the foot mostly because you're the only mom I have. I felt this way after you were in the accident last year too. Like I told Hank earlier, the scary thing is, I'm closer to him than I am my own dad. Just a few years ago, I couldn't see that happening. Like ever."

"I didn't see that happenin' either. I know you had your doubts about becomin' a dad but she's a happy little girl."

"I did. I just don't wanna be away from her for a week or more."

"That's why I suggested video chatting once we were back in New York, so she could see you. Meredith said she was really good tonight. The kids are having a great time with Uncle Al."

"That's good to know. When are you heading back?"

"Probably by Saturday or Sunday. Will told me he'd stop over to check on me before we left just to make sure things were ok. I'm planning to go back to work by Monday but I'll mostly be sitting on my ass all day again."

"That's basically what I'll be doing. I probably shouldn't have made the trip here but I needed to be here. Other than being tired most days, I'm feeling a lot better. Like I said before, Ed and I will do what we can to help out too."

"Are we going to have to deal with IA at home too?"

"From what you told me, neither of you did anything wrong and Erin shot the guy because he was shooting at you first. If for some reason Rob thinks otherwise, which I doubt, then maybe. Erin killed Yates and that was ruled a good shoot. She was protecting herself because he threatened her."

"She doesn't feel guilty about that at all after what he did to Nadia."

"I don't blame her. That guy was a psycho. I believe the guy in custody in New York is the guy you were looking for, since there have been no other rapes since he's been in custody. Correct?"

"Right. I asked Shauna and Rollins and they said there haven't been any more."

"It doesn't sound like there have been any more here either."

"What was that fire all about?"

"It apparently was the "lab" but from what it sounds like, it was set off."

There was a knock at the door, so Hank went to get it. It was Antonio, Adam and Kevin.

"Hey."

"Hey. Come on in."

"Thanks."

The 3 of them came in.

"Jay, we thought you'd be at the hospital."

"I'm heading there. Platt and Burgess are there."

"Fin just said that the lab was the fire they all responded to."

"Yep. We found bomb fragments and the cameras in the area showed the guy Erin killed being last person to be there before it happened but he left not too long before the shootout."

"He was probably trying to get rid of all the evidence."

"That would be our guess too. They didn't find anyone there during their initial search of the building and no one was found afterward either."

"Have there been any more rapes since that guy was killed?"

"No, so we're thinkin' he was the guy."

"Can we get photos of the guy for Fin to take back with him to see if the guy we have in custody knows him?"

"Absolutely."

Then Olivia's phone rang, so she answered it. When she was done, she hung up.

"That was Shauna. She said the guy we arrested last night was killed in custody. Barba had him arraigned him this morning and he was remanded until the trial. The guy that killed him confessed to it."

"At least this case is over for both squads."

"I'm glad for that."

"At least we can all go home and sleep tonight."

"I'm glad for that."

"Me too."

"You guys want some pizza?"

"Sure."

"Who's watchin' the kids?"

"Meredith and Al."

"I can't see Olinsky takin' care of the little ones though."

"He is actually really good with them. Noah and Rachel said they are having a great time with Uncle Al."

Antonio, Adam and Kevin helped themselves to pizza and everyone talked for a little while longer. Jay left to head back to the hospital. After Antonio, Adam and Kevin left, Fin and Diana went back to their rooms and Hank got ready for bed after he changed Olivia's bandage. They kissed each other goodnight and fell asleep in each other's arms.

The next morning, Fin made arrangements for his flight, which was about noon and then he met Hank, Olivia and Diana for breakfast before heading to the airport for his trip back to New York. Hank, Olivia and Diana went to visit Erin. Erin had also talked with Internal Affairs. When they weren't at the hospital, Olivia was relaxing and enjoying some time with her husband and sister but she checked in with the squad and Meredith every day. Diana checked in with Ed every day as well. They had dinner with Trudy and Mouch one night too.

By the end of the week, Will had looked at Olivia's foot and said she was fine to travel home but to do a follow up. Hank made reservations for the 3 of them to leave on Sunday, so they had a couple more days with Erin. They stopped to see Erin before they headed to the airport for their trip back to New York. Olivia and Hank missed the rest of their family and Diana missed Ed and the kids like crazy as well, so they couldn't wait to get home.
